  1. They'll each be coming around the same time-ish as each game is being devloped by a different studio. Plus, I'm nigh on certain that one of the XIII is a mobile phone game, so not too long a dev time for that one. From what I believe you be getting 1 single traditional, 1 actiony like the disgraceful recent Vincent Valentine game which I would think may well be mulitplayer, and then finally 1 mobile game. I'd think each one would have small fragments of the story so those hyper FF fans would be forced into getting all of them. On the topic of a Final Fantasy theory, I am very dissapointed with the way the company is going with the FF series. They seemed to have dropped there untouchable purity to instead to muddy their waters by sucking the series dry with all these Final Fantasy VII spin offs. As mentioned, Dirge of Cerberus, from a few reviews I read is complete and utter gash. Why do an shooting action game? Just stick to what you are good at. The VII series had this heavenly aura around before but now it has beeen tarnished slightly I feel by poor knock off jobs which sell only because of the name "Final Fantasy VII: something something" instead of the actual quality of the game. However, that said, Advent Children was amazing. And truth be told, everyone wants to see the progession of the characters they got to know so closely. Which is why the clamerring for RPG sequels is always high. I'd love to see a continuation of VIII or IX. Yet once these sequels have been made you generally have mass outroar as the developer doesn't satisfy all the fanboy needs. With sequels, you risk destroying the lovely and generally nostalgic view people have of the original game. Just look at FFX-2, FFX was better just left alone I feel. And despite how I want a sequel to the FF games, I feel they are better left untouched, preserved in their glory.
  2. http://www.gameseek.co.uk/productdetail/PS1st388annpw2sfhk4/ £20. Done. The game is a bitch to buy in store. My local GameStation were charging £25 for a second hand copy. Much better to buy online.
  3. What really gets to me is moaners. People who bitch and whine about things (when it is generally over nothing important) and then do nothing about it. It's just so infuriating. I would understand if they moaned and then resolved to do something about it but they don't. Thet just moan some more. These people don't do themselves any favours, in fact I'd think they'd become major irratants to people. I mean when say fellow X is hosting a party they're not going to go "oooo invite Bitch.A as she's a fantastic moaner who never has anything positive to say", they're just not going to invite you. If you are one of these people, and this goes out to those annoying whinging teenagers and emos as well. Shut Up Move On
  4. Have to say that I think Villa's new sponser looks absolutely awful on their shirts. However, I'd have to give the worst kit award to this Newcastle away strip. It just looks so drab.
  5. Nope. Went to around sixty quid inc P&P which was way out of my price range.
  6. Here are the other Arsenal kits apparently. The third kit looks oh so poor, like Nike got a baby in charge of trying to copy the Inter shirt but has just made a mess of it and got the stripes all wrong. And why we need a third shirt is beyond me. The third kit is on the left, home in the middle, and away on the right.
  7. Just starting playing this game again due to the holidays starting and I've got to say, it's truely is a beutiful game. I used to not mind the voice acting but now it grates on me for some reason, probably because between playing it I've played games with far superior voice acting. Question. Is it worth filling your deck with those cards that are only do something when combined with other cards? Like having firewood in your inventory in the hope that it will come up with a fire card so it can combine to make a big combo. I just play it safe and pack the deck with about half attacking, half defensive, and a couple of healing and a camera. is there a recommended ratio for attack and defensive cards as it's happended to a few times wereyou get a whole line-up of unusuable cards in battles, like a whole list of defensive cards.
  8. Oww I read this for some reason as "Shenmue 3 trailer realeased". *Dissapointed* But nonetheless, Spiderman 3 is looking to be just as good as the previous two.
  9. Gah, when games get ridiculously hard, like Resident Evil 4 on Professional when the cage comes down and you're stuck with the massive iron claw in there. Now this wouldn't be so bad but you also those bastard archers on the outside who snipe you right in the head if you stay still for more than a few seconds. This coupled with about 4 regular grunts in the cage who swarm around and strangle you at every oppurtunity results in mass death and mass anger. However, I think this frustation and anger is someway a good thing as when you finally do the task then the elation and satisfaction is almost tangible.
  10. Yay. Just bought a Dreamcast, 2 controllers and Crazy Taxi on eBay for £18. I didn't really want the extra controller and Crazy Taxi but nearly all the Dreamcasts on eBay are sold in bundles with all their games, thus increasing the price to around the thirties and that was the smallest package I could find. Oh and a VMU for £4! Soon I will playing Shenmue.
  11. Hikaru Utada was first got me into J-Pop. I heard one of her songs on a Nintendo DS advertisment and this (hot) Japanese girl I know recognised the song and sent me some of her other works. I specifically like Automatic and Travelling (the music video for Travelling is crazy, she dresses up as a pixie airhostess). After that I deversified a little. My favourites being; Koda Kumi, Dream, Da Pump, Love Psychedelico, Ai Otsuka, and of course Ayumi Hamasaki, who I think is a tad over rated. Anyone tried Utada's American album "Exodus". Personally, I'm not a big fan. She worked with some guy to try and hit the American market and I don't think she really pulls it off to well. She loses what made her J-Pop great and also some of the lyrics seem slightly jilted, such as "This is just the way I am I really wanna tell me something, but I can't You make me want to be a man"
  12. Here's the new Arsenal kit. I don't like it, especially that annyoing gold stripe. Has a very retro-ish feel to me.
  13. Heh, just saw this on the Internet. Damn amusing. A football manager 2005 player applied for the Boro job! And the response!
  14. Probably one of the funniest things I've seen on ole t'Internet in a long time. It's the merchant from Resi 4, but in real life!!11 etc
  15. Well, on Premiership news, Liverpool have bought Bellamy for six million. Granted he's a good striker, but I think he just had a good last season and he won't play as well the season coming. Plus, is he really Champions League quality? The other major, probably bigger issue is his attitude. I think he suited Blackburn in that he was the main superstar of the whole team and got all the attention. Now he's at Liverpool he's going to play second fiddle to the big boys like Gerrard and Alonso, which I think Bellamy won't like. I think that whole issue with Shearer was because he was jealous of how all the Newcastle fans constantly lavished love on Shearer and not him.
  16. Can you give me a brief summary of the reasons why it's a set up. I'm just curious as the effects of it have been devestational and in my point of view, not having watched "Loose Change", there have been a huge amount of deaths and fear caused but for what reason?
  17. I used to have this also, but I'm near to certain that is nothing to do with the computer as after I had moved house this never happend again. So maybe something to do with electricity supplies? That said, I don't really know too much on electrics so maybe just check like the extension leads or plugs that connect stuff to the eletricity. Or maybe as someone said, it could be heat as it has been ruddy hot this Summer. Does it still happen in Winter?
  18. Hmm, I wonder if there will be any obscure characters from Japan only games. Kinda how Roy and Marth were when Smash Bros first came out here. Maybe someone like Stafy? Personally, I'd like to see a Koopas as playable character.
  19. I really like sitting down after a hard days work and having a cup of Earl Gray tea. It's really revitalising.
  20. What happend to the sacking of O'Leary? Why didn't that happen? He was complete gash all of last season, as was Baros. Me thinks you need a good out and out goalscorer, someone like A.Johnson who gets goals regardless. Seeing as he's gone, I see maybe Carton Cole, would be a cheap young English buy. Or maybe some Championship striker, like a Darren Bent type. All your strikers, Angel, Baros, Moore (good in one game only I remember) Phillips (probaby your best striker last season, but still was injured+didn't score enough) were pretty poor. Anyways, that's what I think, but I'm not a big Villa follower.
  21. My local team Reading have a perfect first match against Boro. I still find it ridiulous that Southgate has been made manager. I mean he's a good defender granted, but how does that make him a good manager? He's never before been involved in a management type role before FFS. And plus I still think it'd be odd for the players being commanded around or dropped to the bench by a former teammate. Personally, I think Boro are going to bomb this season. As will Reading, who I think have become too adapted to Championship football, just like Sunderland were. But nonetheless, come on Reading! Leroy! Leroy! Leroy! :p
  22. As did I *dissapointed* Well...can't let this go to waste, so here we go.
  23. "posters, books and other exclusive items". Not liking the sounds of books, the NGC ones were rubbish, well the walkthrough ones. If people need guides they'll go to GameFAQs. And hopefully the posters will be nice big ones, not small middle of the magazine ones. Is it going to be staples? Surely not.
  24. Hmm, I was talking to my friend about this just now, and your are probably right, my friends words being "the thing that strikes me about you greg is how in real life i feel i could speak to you very normally, heaven forbid even win an arguement! but with a computer infront of you you become some kind of mad dictator" He's right and has "been leniant with me". I guess behind an invisible wall people have can have no control and egos become inflated and such as there is nobody there to reign them in. Looking back, I agree, the way I wrote was pretty pompous to say the least, and thanks for putting me back in place. I thank thee kindly (Resi 4) for your words, and I'm sure they will benefit me, no doubt. I didn't realise what a jackass I'd been. But, as I said, I will learn from this and such. I wish for these differences we've had to be put under the bright (or whatever the saying is). I apoligise.
