Oh gawd. I lost a fair amount of weight before Christmas after finally sticking to a diet for the first time ever. It's weird because after a while I actually started getting used to the smaller portions and healthier food - I remember going to McDonalds after eating healthily for nearly 2 months and it actually made me feel sick. Along came Christmas though and that's when my downward spiral began :P Now that summers officially here I'm going to make sure I once again stick to healthy eating because I feel as though there's a huge man-boob shaped cloud looming over me and I don't like the look of it! Seriously though, I'm glad I found this thread as I do need to stick to it this time. My biggest problem is ALCOHOL! I need to stop going out every weekend because not only does it rape my bank account but it also destroys any effort I've put into eating healthily!

I was gonna hold off getting a 360 but then Amazon presented me with an offer I just couldn't refuse. 360 250GB Slim, Halo Reach, Fable 3 and Xbox Live Gold 12 month membership for £169.99!

Flying is something I would definitely love to do, as most of you have already said. I've always been fascinated in being able to create my own world though; having the powers to put a huge building here, a waterfall there, that kind of thing. I love it when you realize you are dreaming, it doesn't happen to me often at all but when it does it's just amazing. The freedom to do absolutely anything and everything is insane and I just never want to wake up. If anything, I'd just love to live in a surreal world. I remember one dream I had where I got a bubble blower, created a huge bubble and jumped inside of it. Then I just floated up into the sky and floated around, seeing the world. I suppose in reality it would be shit scary and I'd be having a panic attack the whole time but that's another thing - just that feeling of being safe when you dream is so refreshing. But yeah, I realize I'm getting a bit fixated on dreams here and I'm no Dicaprio. So, heaven on earth for me? a whole city with just my friends and family - No one else. I can't imagine the freedom. Somewhere like New York, there's no one else there, just you, your friends and family. You can choose any of the thousands of places to live, there'd be no restrictions in what you could do, you could walk around at night without being afraid, you could have parties in the street, mess around on all the TV stations. Also, hover boards.

Oh man, that would be the best E3 ever! My two favourite consoles... as one. And the name DreamCube is also just jizz worthy. -
New post about my visit to Summer Of Sonic last year! I'll post details of the up and coming one this year, tomorrow!

I'm on the final boss now, this game kinda lost it's edge after world 3. Biggest disappointment on Wii for me.

I saw the hand towel and couldn't believe my eyes (In a good way, as oppose to the Wii Fit flip flops D: ) Isn't the SNES controller like 7000? If I were you I'd go for that, seems like the most worthwhile item on there!

I wish I didn't waste so many stars back in the day on bloody phone wallpapers and ringtones, I was such a noob. Still, I recently got the 25th Anniversary Mario coin! It is awesome! I wet myself a little when I first slipped it out of the pouch, it's still in it's plastic seal and I intend to keep it that way for some time (Not only for value but also because of my oh so oily skin, I sometimes feel like a fish/13 year old)

I'd like to apologize on two accounts; firstly for double posting (God damn, who DOES that now?) and secondly for not updating every day as I said I would. It's hardly a good start I know but I was slapped in the face by coursework which lately seems to be spewing out of every direction. Anyway though, to make it up to you all I've had a Donkey Kong blow out and posted about 3 rather cool DK related things - Especially an incredibly corny number which you have to hear to believe; It's called "Do The Donkey Kong" - Your ears will never be the same!

I got Luigi's Mansion about a year into having my Gamecube and I was blown away by the graphics and the atmosphere! Last summer I ended up getting it from eBay and I can't believe how well the graphics have aged, it easily looks as good as most Wii games. I'd love a sequel, just to hear that awesome music again!

Kirby is a lot more fun in multiplayer than doing it solo, unlike DKC Returns! And good choice on Sonic Colours, I haven't enjoyed a Sonic game that much since... Sonic 3!

I thought I'd blocked out the horrific voice acting for life but when I read that it all came FLUDDing back (Oh ;D) like a traumatic childhood memory.

I've also been thinking of getting a PS3 or 360 recently and was about to create a thread similar to this. I'm getting paid in two weeks so that's when I'll be shelling out for one or the other but I keep changing my mind :P I've heard a lot of good things about Live and it's really not that expensive, I'm also a huge Rare fanboy and even though they're nothing compared to their former selves, I'd still explode with joy playing a new Rare game. The PS3 on the other hand does have LBP (though I'm not sure I'd be that blown away by it) and a Blu-Ray player. Either way, I mainly want one for upcoming released like Duke Nukem, Sonic Generations etc

"You like the Commodore 64? You like Synth-Pop? Well then just imagine if they combined to make a unique and overwhelmingly nerdy fusion of fantastic beats and old school sounds – Well, my friend, there’s no need to imagine anymore as Mind.In.A.Box released their fantastic album R.E.T.R.O last year [...]" http://josh64128.blogspot.com/2011/05/mindinabox-retro.html New post about an awesome band who have huge influences from Commodore 64 games; any retro gamer will love this.

I feel your pain, Pancake; to add to that pain you should check out the latest post featuring Pacman related merchandise! And with that... I'm off to bed! I just about made it in time to count as todays post xD I've been at work for 12 hours, got home, about to go to bed when suddenly I remembered I'd yet to post anything D: EDIT: Also, for some reason, my google ads has been deactivated :S apparently there was suspicious behaviour (as in they think ive been somehow making up visitor views?) which is not only a pain but also incredibly annoying as I haven't been tampering with anything in that sense. I can appeal but cba right now :P So for the time being there will be no ads littering the page - Hurrah I suppose! xD

Mini Mushrooms! They're even all the colours of the rainbow, perfectly fitting for the blog!

I know what you're saying Magnus, I also find that when I hear a Donkey Konga song on the radio the bongo drums are playing in the back of my mind. And glad you like it Frank Also, I have a rather incredible (and tiny) piece of merchandise lined up for tomorrow to keep Rez happy! ;D

Thanks to the annoying nature of LoveFilm's "list 10 titles you like and we'll send them randomly", I've only just got 'round to receiving this but it was well worth the wait. I've always enjoyed Kirby games but I've never been quite as into them as the likes of Mario and Donkey Kong but this game changes that completely; I haven't played a 2D plat former this enjoyable, imaginable and fresh in... well, forever. The graphics are always impressing me, the music is charming and the game play is always kept fresh with the transformations. I've been playing a lot of 2D platformers lately like NSMB, DKCR, Klonoa and A Shadows Tale but Kirby is by far the best one. I can't believe I didn't get this sooner!

Poor snail indeed xD And thanks for checking it out, Frank! (Btw, were you formerly Nintendo Master or am I getting myself confused? :P) Anyway, I posted about a rather spiffing DK inspired shower today and J-Pop in the form of Ken Hirai for extra measure!
-
THIS! What were they thinking?! As soon as I started using the Wii Remote I noticed all of these cheap blocks everywhere and it was really frustrating! I looked everywhere to see if there was an option to get rid of them (as it really does seem like some sort of extra feature quickly shoved in at the end) but using the balance board is the only way of doing so.
-
Glad you like it, Rez! I'll be sure to post more merchandise tomorrow (There's plenty for me to cover :P) but in the meantime you should check out a rather beastly snail; Some would call it animal abuse yet the more open minded would call it beautiful art.

It was okay until about year 10, then it went terrible :P It was a typically rough school full of chavs but I somehow managed to keep out of all the trouble - Until it got out that I was gay that is. I now know what it must have been like living in the 1950's as a gay man as I felt sheer hatred from every lad in school and got abuse every day in pretty much every class. So suddenly I had no friends, though they were obviously not worth having if they were that shallow. I didn't let it get to me though and ended up finding a group of like minded people who were all awesome - Que fun dinner times of huge Mario Kart DS races!

Thanks for the positive feedback, I'm glad you like it I have way more posts lined up so stay tuned

Uploaded with ImageShack.us Shocked face and SEPIA!? Damn, this is so "typical 2005 Myspace shot".
