    Happy Mar10 day. What a fantastic fan made animation. It's always hilarious to see how fans put out/care more about franchise anniversaries or special days than the actual corps that own the IP.

    Yeah, it looks like there isnt one. Shame. When I do get around to buying it I may just go the digital route so that I get both versions. The latest Ys game also pulls this same move as well. Get both digitally but only a physical PS5 release.

    @Julius is there not a physical PS4 version of the game? I see if you get it digitally you get both versions but I assume the PS5 physical copy only comes with that version?

    Yeah, with you playing with your mates, you'll be able to get through it even quicker if you trade your investigations.

    61 hours to platinum. Usually it takes around 200 but the changes to the crown system massively reduces it.

    Just a little over a week since release and... Yeah, that's pretty ridiculous for Monster Hunter. That's also with me playing other stuff and being at work all week. Very disappointing.

    If it helps, you can set it so the SOS goes off automatically as soon as a mission starts.

    Have you been playing with random players or do you just play when Goafer is on?

    I love fighting both him and Xu Wu. The squid/octopus monsters are really fun to fight and because they have so many parts that can be hit, you can do insane damage to them with a fast weapon. He's probably the easiest of the 4 Apex bosses.

    I see this got announced last night. I'm very surprised and happy that they have went all out and made this a stand alone release, rather than just tacking it on to the original game. I played the original early last year and absolutely loved it and so I have high hopes for this.

    This awesome looking game was recently announced. This hits all the right notes for me. It totally looks like a game that was made in the 16bit era. It's certainly one I'll be keeping an eye on.

    I'm not far off reaching HR100. I'll probably hit it this evening. I've been finding that doing SOS missions in the late game arena type stage makes for some easy hunting. There's no need to be faffing about traipsing through the massive levels when you can SOS, spawn in at the only camp in the stage and are only a few steps away from the fight. It's made for some quick and easy crown hunting. There are a few monsters, namely the 4 Apex beasts, that don't show up in the area type stage and so I'll have to go fight those on the maps. I see next weeks event quest will drop armour spheres. These things seem a lot harder to come by than in the other games. There's a trading item that can be farmed and used to get a stupid amount of them and high end decorations, pretty much breaking the end game. I wouldn't be surprised if Capcom patch this method.

    I'm not angry. I'm just disappointed. I may give 94 a play through over the weekend. It's been a long time since I played it.

    Disappointing. Still, I don't have a lot of nostalgia for the 4th entry. THPS3 is the one I played the hell out of in my youth and I'm happy that entry seems to be getting the respect it deserves. I doubt I'll pick this up though. I've yet to play the first 2 that got remastered.

    80's but like a lot of stuff from back then, they keep getting revivals/remakes.
