I see Pokemon TCG Pocket has launched today on mobile devices. Sadly, it isn't compatible with my phone and so I can't partake, although I did download it on the works phone to have a play around with. We are going to use that one as swaps for a lad at work who is playing it. Looks like you can open a couple of free packs every day, which isn't too bad. However, like with all games set up this way, there appears to be a lot of stuff locked behind premium passes and various currencies.

Even preorder numbers and beta participation were stupidly low and yet they still kept on pushing forward with it. Someone at the top of Sony should be held responsible but once again it's workers who are thrown under the bus.

7th Jan release date.

It has to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest, flop in the industry. Again, I have no idea how Sony didn't see this coming. It was absolutely baffling.

The Great Developer Massacre of 2023-2024 (and onwards?)

Yeah, I can't imagine Marathon doing anything close to what's needed to keep Bungie on good terms with Sony, especially with the rumoured development hell it's in. What a mess. -
Xenoblade Chronicles X - Definitive edition (March '25)
Hero-of-Time replied to Dcubed's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Awesome. I never finished it on the Wii U and have been hoping for an updated release. -
This got so much play time back when I was younger. Me and my friends played it way more than Perfect Dark or Goldeneye. I would be reluctant to revisit it if it did make the service in case it doesn't hold up. I have a lot of great memories that will probably be ruined. I demand Donkey Kong 64 and Diddy Kong Racing first. At least one of them dropping in December would be great. I associate both of them with December/Christmas time.

USA Election 2024: Harris Vs Trump

My brother voted last week. He said he doubt it would do any good as Indiana has been a republican state for years but he's done his part regardless. -
Mario Artist Communication Kit - All N64 Games

I imported the Gamecube Custom Robo game for the very same reason. Seen the trophy in Smash, was intrigued about the franchise and so bought the game. -
Here's a newly made fan trailer for a character who didn't get into the official release. @RedShell you should give this a viewing.

It will be interesting to see if any manager can get that group of players playing well.

Yakuza Kiwami on Switch (24th October 2024)
Hero-of-Time replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Bodes well for the whole series getting Switch 2 ports. Hopefully they will run better than what's on offer here... Yikes. -

Super Mario Party Jamboree (17th October 2024)

Because there's no one else to play with. If not for you going over to Dcubed's place, you'd probably be in the same situation. -
Super Mario Party Jamboree (17th October 2024)
Hero-of-Time replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
All achievements unlocked! I had a hell of a time nabbing them all and as someone who plays Mario Party on his own, these really gave the game some legs. Some of them were absolutely nuts, like finding and using all 37 items in the game, getting 7 stars in Pro Rules mode and being in 4th and then winning with only a few turns to go. A lot of the ones that were part of the main Mario Party mode involved a lot of luck and required replaying boards and trying to manipulate certain scenarios. It wasn't just the achievements that gave me stuff to do, the other modes were also stupidly fun to play as well. Yes, even the motion controlled stuff, which I usually don't get on with. The rhythm games and flight modes were a joy to play, with the free flight mode reminding me a little of the plane game on Wii Sports Resort. I'd probably say that the main party mode was the weakest part of the whole game. I enjoyed all of the side stuff much more and would love to see some of them fleshed out even further. There were other things to do and unlock as well. Just today I found out you can take photos in the air balloon before you select a game mode to play. There were 30 random events that occur on the map that you need to snap. Again, I had a blast hunting all of these down. This is probably the most fun I've had with a Mario Party game in years and I certainly got a stupid amount of play time for my money. -
Haha. Those googly eyes...

USA Election 2024: Harris Vs Trump
Hero-of-Time replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in General Chit Chat
I watched the Undertakers interview with Trump. There was certainly a lot of brown nosing going on but it was enjoyable enough to watch. Crazy how much weight Bautista has lost. Dude doesn't look well after shedding it all. -

Minecraft Dungeons, A Little to the Left and Cursed to Golf are all part of game trials this week. You get 100 platinum coins for each game you try. I played Curse to Golf on my PS4 last October and really enjoyed it. Well worth a look.
