I felt like I wasn't going to bother getting/playing the game so I watched the ending and this is my feeling:

Does the Joker ever experience fear? I don't know anything about any comic-book series so please fill me in.

Open world/sandbox isn't something I see as a step in the right direction, even though I haven't played through this game, I don't agree with the sort of gameplay it provides. inFAMOUS would've been better without it imo. Obviously keep some sort of scale but side missions etc are better in a proper quest game, when each of them are different. Sandbox stuff can actually be quite limiting because it makes your character seem smaller in a way.

Well Socom takes 'getting used to' to another level. Can be a bit fiddly at times with the way they implement things. Selecting weapons etc is quite erksome.

Fair enough. I maintain that Fat Princess isn't good value at £12 though.

He did what most strikers would do in that situation, and wait for the keeper to take him out. It's almost an understandable dive because it's almost a stone-waller in real-time. I don't think Rooney would go out of his way to dive and win a penalty but he made the most of the situation that presented itself.

The control options are limited though, because some buttons have to have two functions and it's just a bit fiddly. There isn't a scheme that is anywhere near how I would want it, even when you can edit them a bit it just doesn't work.

I think it's because Mat tolerates any FPS. I'm in the middle camp where I don't mind there being a lot of FPS but I really dislike the one's that have a rubbishy feel to them, ala Huarez. Shooting people in the demo just felt so poor.

Heed my warnings Daft! I did say that it was awful, I remember explaining the demo to people but others seemed to disagree. We'll see if I'm right about WET as well.

Well I may be able to save you time on that front. I just called Sony about my faulty 40GB. I gave them all of my details, along with the ps3 specifics like serial number etc. They said that the 40GB model had been discontinued (I'm guessing the 60GB is too)for over a year so they needed a receipt for it proving that it was bought within a years time, which I didn't have. I said I didn't have one and they offered to fix it for £100, which I can't do atm. So me and my dad are looking to repair the thing ourselves by buying a special screw-driver and a blu-ray lense, which is possible to import for £40 total. Dad's an engineer so he shouldn't have an issue with a few screws. However there's also the issue of not being able to get my PS3 online in the house, I'm pretty sure that isn't a hardware fault, so I'll try resetting the wireless router. If I do in the end go for the £100 fix it'll have to wait til mid-october time. Meh.

Lol I loved the vid, especially the way you lobbed the game case on the sofa to show you were unimpresed and what little care you had for the special ed. What would've topped all of this is if at the end you said "All right then, I'll just test the batarang to see if it works" *lobs batarang* "Oh it's just snapped in half on the edge of the bin I was aiming at." Would've been especially good because you have the voice for dry comedy delivery.

I've just been looking throught the vids and I actually remember playing a lot of it. Strange but cool main character. Level design being, uhhh... Quirky. Still it's been a gold ol' trip down memory lane.

Daft you Sony rep, you. The Uncharted 2 difference is just being bigged up by Naughtydog and you've bought into it, it looks great but all things considered the PS3 isn't massively different to the 360 in the power department. All that matters is 3D Dot Game Heroes

Anyone remember this game? I certainly do but I was very young at the time and just watched my Dad play it (occasionally had a go myself but failed), but man it was badass. It's a 3rd person shooter but it's pretty much a high octane action adventure game. Here's a video:

Seeing J Dee laugh makes me laugh because his expressions are priceless. Gotta like that guy. His first Lead Balloon series was pretty good. Series 2 not so much, but made up for with a good Christmas special.

I have the 'meh' feeling with my GCSE results. Science: one A, one A* Maths: A History: B () Economics: B ( :() English: Lan = A, Lit = A* French: A I've achieved As in mocks for both history and economics so was disappointed with the turnout for those, especially Eccy where I thought I had a chance at A*. How deluded I was.

I don't know, but I'll be calling them soon. Currently waiting for a HDD enclosure, although if I'm luckyI'll be able to get away with lying and get a free fix like a friend did. I still want news for this though, I'll have the system up and running way before November when it comes out in Japan so more screens please. I'd like to know if there are more from H-o-T.

I like the XMB as it is, and I don't bother with themes. If there's a good one I might be convinced, but otherwise it can be distracting.
