Splitting my time between: XCOM: Enemy Unknown - I've gotten way into this very fast. I'd heard it was good but it really is surprisingly spectacular. It's one of the most atmospheric games I've ever played, even when chugging a bit on my modest laptop. Okami - The final game I must complete on the Wii before considering a WiiU and so far it's delightful. The painting's a little finicky occasionally and it does show it's age but it's still a beautifully designed adventure.

Metro: Last Light - It was as atmospheric and enthralling as I had hoped and I recommend it to everyone. It's one problem is a very rushed-feeling final 10 minutes, which is a real damn shame because almost everything right up until that point is exquisite.

I've never understood the point of "E3 Awards" or similar and I now feel fully validated in that.

It's only been these last 2 incidents and I don't actually have a diagnosis for anything yet, but it is the result of sinking deeper into *something* I had for a very long time assumed would get better or I would find my own way out of. It sort of feels like the harming is a message from myself to myself more than anyone else. I can't just ride it out any more, it's forcing me to get stuck in.

Aww, thanks for worrying. Will do. =) Also already got a docs appointment for next Monday (22nd, curse ye doctors holidays) to discuss the possibility of anti-depressants under advisement from said therapist so hopefully some positive movement might happen soon. In a way I wish this had all happened sooner, when I wasn't near the end of my course and had more time to access to help knowing I needed it. One perseveres.
