They're the loose, niche, opinionated games coverage site while Gamespot (both are currently CBSi properties and operate on the same floor of the same building) does the more straight forward, more comprehensive coverage. Pick the one you like and go at it. Or both, even.

It's the GiantBombCast or nothing for me. Pretty much the only podcast I refuse to miss.

Went to see How To Train Your Dragon 2, had been looking forward to it for ages and was not in the least bit disappointed, in fact it comfortably cleared my expectations. There's a lot of movie crammed into an hour and half, plenty of great action and strong emotional moments. Cinema was about half-full with kids and it kept their attention fairly consistently, which is impressive give the level the movie was occasionally operating at.

All right, just grabbed a nice cheap room. The room is small but with a large closet & shelves, the house is well kept with a nice sitting room area & washer-dryer and the lady who runs it seems very nice. No letting's agents to deal with either.

Shame about Rosberg dropping it out but we had a good fight between Vettel and Alonso so I'm satisfied. Lewis & Nico now on level pegging as well so everything to play for. Kimi's crash was super frightening, if Massa hadn't reacted in time somebody could have died.

Bitterly disappointed that Susie didn't get more track time, through no fault of hers as well. Here's hoping things go better at Hockenheim.

Grrr, was hoping to be fixing my bike tyre at long last today but it either hasn't arrived as expected or one of the folks in my house picked up the package card for some reason (I noticed one one my way out yesterday, but it was gone later). I just hope it's late so I don't have to knock on the alcoholic stoner guy's door downstairs and ask if he's seen anything. That's just a little more than I want to deal with right now.

I'm a huge Avatar/LoK fan and almost spat my tea out when I read that Platinum games was making this. Now we can dare to dream we get a decent licensed game out of this. IGN wrote an early preview that sounds promising, so fingers crossed. A game with the gaang set in early Republic City would be pretty ripping.

Finally snapped an grabbed Banished, Long Live The Queen and, most importantly, Kerbal Space Programme from the Steam summer sale. Video games are so good right now. So good.

Used Plusnet for a year or do in uni a while back. Best customer service I've ever had the pleasure of engaging with. My mum has been a Talk Talk customer since forever and they seem pretty decent. Had 'em for years at the old family home, never had a serious problem.
