I'll get in on the cup if I still can. Massive change report this round, I think I'm finally turning this boat around again.

I did. It was a-ok. Stupid move by Prost on Heidfeld but it's definitely an interesting series off to a good start. It's early days but the fact it has it' owns clear vision & identity will probably help it thrive in ways other series' have failed to do so.

I was at work until 11.30 because £140 went missing from a till and we had to find out what happened. Turned out the guy on the till had been fleeced by some conman on the pretense of changing notes. Also my dad tried to come visit this weekend but couldn't get a hotel room because it turns out the boat regatta is on. Fuck the boat regatta quite frankly.

Starting to feel bad for not playing 'Chronicles.

Jeff & Brad are both livestreaming Destiny on giantbomb. I'm getting the impression they're both pretty cool on it so far. It's got a lot of buzz (and budget) to justify.

Pretty good race I thought. I think win or lose Lewis is at the height of his powers right now, he's still got his racer instincts but also got the technical understanding & mental fortitude that he didn't have at the start of his career. So glad to see Massa on the podium too. The race was also notable for highlighting how tragic the Ferrari is this year. They're probably going to have spend the duration of next season just making sure they've got the boat turned around. Performing this badly on any circuit let alone their home race is unforgivable. Alonso is the only man saving their blushes these days.

Just finished The Walking Dead Season 2 - Very good, satisfying final chapter I'm pleased to say which it needed after a rather chaotic forth chapter. Not quite as good as the 1st season overall but it's still a highly compelling story with an enormously likable & increasingly complex protagonist at it's core.

I'm not sure I can take this Mercedes conflict any more, I already have an anxiety condition for god's sake.

And yet I have no regrets.

That's exactly what's so baffling about this decision. Square-Enix have already done the hard bit, spent a lot of money reestablishing the series and made a profit out of it's release. They're relying so heavily on this game to rescue the publisher one has to wonder if the publisher deserves to survive.

I imagine it'll be part of some kind of trilogy box set years later.

Studio Ghibli has halted production for the foreseeable future to undergo a period of "housecleaning" with lead director Miyazaki retiring. Contrary to initial reports this isn't currently a total cessation of their film-making, though it has been discussed.

Now that I've resettled it's back to full thrusters on the job hunt, especially with my current position rattling it's way to an ever more crushing nightmare. My boss is an idiot, his boss is an asshole, and frankly the whole company could slip into a pit and burst into flames for all I give a rats ass anymore.

I like robots and I like CG Kevin Spacey. Both of those are box-worthy bullet points. I am gratified that he's at least trying but you're right. I've always felt like major publishers should all just have a room of people drinking coffee somewhere just pitching dialogue when asked.
