    Bye.

We've been through this. N-Europe is not a democracy. We tried that, it failed the workers.
  2. I'm not convinced about Zell either. It's going to take something more solid to get my vote.
  3. Personally, I'd rather just kill them quick and forget they ever existed as soon as possible.
  4. £18 from Amazon.
  5. That's rather too vague I'm afraid. Anyway, I've been trying out WoW. It's definitely something I could get into, but if I ever went back to a paid-for MMORPG I'd probably beam back into EVE Online.
  6. I've eaten a lot of chocolate and salad today. I don't know why the TV is full of loud-mouth south-London female celebrities now, but I shall see that those responsible are hunted down and murdered in their beds.
  7. I've invented a new drinking game. Just have handy a boxset of Gundam Seed, someone unfamiliar with Gundam, a large bottle of tequila, or your preferred beverage, and shot glasses for everyone. Every time a new character appears on screen, pause before they speak and call the person unfamiliar with the show, and have them guess if the character is male or female. Then play and check by the sound of their voice. If they're wrong, everyone drinks a shot. If you're still unsure, everyone drinks three shots. The last to express drunken lust towards a character outside of their normal sexuality wins.
  8. I'd be the local preacher, skulking in the local church wondering why people only turn up when 'Songs of Praise' are in town.
  9. I desperately want to, but I'm going to have to wait for it to come on that art house cinema three towns over. Mainstream distribution cinema apparently finds the idea of showing films that can't be immediately advertised to a broad yet very specific demograph of white 16-20somethings to be an impossible pipe dream. If the Godfather was never released until today, it'd be lucky to get nationwide distribution.
  10. Earl grey tea, Famous Grouse, apple and grape juice, Orangina, Dr Pepper, Yates Bitter. In that order.
  11. Can't see why not. What kind of problems exactly?
  12. Hybrid. Cool for whatever. Happy to go solo, always an extra controller whn friends come round.
  13. Nhut, I honestly have no idea what bizarre conspiracy theory you're onto to now, but unless you're trying to get people killed by the mafia shut your yap.
  14. Oh dear. It's going to be a tough slog to the finish from here on in.
  15. Yes, but how often does it rain chocolate sunshine and lesbians?
  16. Okey-dokey then - anti-merge.
  17. Dos anyone else here watch Planetes? I love it. I mean, it's as dull as hell but I find it utterly facinating for that reason. It's the first sci-fi I've ever seen that portrays life in space as just a bit naff.
  18. This year, I've decided to eat the beating hearts of couples in resteraunts in order to bless my own life with luck in love. I feel my logic is sound.
  19. No, no... God himself will be praying for this. What comes above God?
  20. martinist posting: Ronald McDonnald does Lucky Star
  21. Gundam Wing is a strange one. One version of it I saw was three back to back episodes of people in mecha suits and spaceships having long conversations about how they were going to kill each other. Last night on Anime Central it all went in the other direction, and consisted of what seemed like a good 45mins of cutting very rapidly between still frames of peoples faces and grunting noises.
  22. The main thing that gets me about file sharing music and programmes is when I hear that it's "costing the industry" X amount of millions or whatever. In order for it to cost the "industry" that much though logically most of the files have to be the property of companies who already make billions. The filesharing of small independant artists and programmers meanwhile appears more likely to increase their sales. Also, society needs to rethink it's whole relationship with data. Surely the whole point of turning something into a piece of data is that you can now create limitless copies of it at zero cost?
  23. Just to listen. I've often found what a person needs is just a sympathetic ear to get some of the excess off their chest.
  24. Mass Effect's gonna be that thing I bought on the 360, loved, and then eight years later when I've just spent £450 on a PC that can run the absolute shit out of Alan Wake 2, I see the entire "Mass Effect Anthology" in Game's "2 for £25" range.
