Citizen Smith A fat, mildly racist man called Smith in an England football shirt and a messy beard wonders why the English aren't very patriotic any more. Doesn't know. 2/10- 3920 replies

I'm starting to wonder what the point of even turning up to Uni is. Last two days all our tutor has done is talked for half an hour and sent us on our way. I haven't even got any classes until Friday now.

As Gizmo was in this little group I'm in, he told me what he was going to do for that night. The person he attempted to investigate was Ellmeister. And since: Vote: Ellmeister

I love EVE. I'd still have an account but I wouldn't play quite enough to justify the expense. With a little more disposable income I'd be right back in there. There's a free trial, you should give it a whirl. It's a little daunting at first, but once you've got the basics the rest is elementary.

Depends on what your definition of "long lasting" is. Zelda TP is a simply massive game, and worth playing at least twice. Excitetruck is short, but so ridiculously fun I'll keep digging it out for years. I have no doubt that Mario Galaxy and Prime 3 have a fair chunk of meat on them. I prefer shorter games these days anyway, I don't have enough time for lots of massive adventures. And what's "hardcore" anyway? Grinding/fighting/building? Hell, even my brothers geography teacher plays WoW these days. Does that make her "hardcore?"

Grr. British Gas are threatening to cut my gas off for non payment. Since I'm supposedly paying them by direct debit, this strikes me as particularly annoying.

Ooh, I have had a blistering headache all weekend, I haven't done anything over the previous week and I feel anxious for some reason. I feel like my mind is collapsing.

Kingdom Of Heaven Not a bad little exploration of the Crusades. Needed less Orlando Bloom and more Jeremy Irons. Ridely Scott's still on the ball though. 7/10

I prefer his solo career. His sound is more commercial, and therefore more satisfying in a narrower way.

American Psycho It spoofs the 80's fashions, but will remain utterly relevant until capitalism itself finally comes crashing down. Fuck Batman, this is what Christian Bale really looks like in action. 10/10

Nah, when that happens we build an amphitheatre out of felled trees and compete naked in games of gladiatorial combat.

I think it must be the onset of spring. If this was a Disney movie this would be the orchestra led montage where all the bug-eyed forest animals reawaken after their winter hibernation and start frolicking suggestively with each other.

I'm fast, but I'm not that fast. And any woman who tells you otherwise is just lying to get back at me.

Sorry. I think I have a build up of excess liquid, slathered thickly around my frontal brain lobe like baby oil in a David Beckham calender shoot.

I'm glad N-Europe is more like the Empire and less like the rebels. We get cooler ships.

Welcome to the site. Just avoid posting any hardcore pornography and you'll do fine.

I do enjoy a hot Ovaltine.

I know I for one am great full for the hard work the Mods and Admins put in to make this a pleasant place to be. N-Europe is like a luxury cruise liner steaming towards the setting sun on the great Interweb Ocean. We're all here to have a good time, and to make sure that happens the crew has to keep a tight ship, steering us round the GTFO ice flow and and keeping us clear of the treacherous shores of 4chan island. It doesn't help if the passengers start thinking they can just run around, being an ass and ruining everybody's time.
-
What? Don't look like that. I like it here. I like you too.

Hopefully one day, when N-Europe is an independent planetary state on one of Saturn's smaller moons, democracy and absolute freedom of speech will be a serious issue worth examining. Until then, N-Europe is more like your local pub: a dark, musty room full of lonely, angry sports fans who beat each other with clubs for weekend entertainment and leer at any females who accidentally wander inside. Just try to avoid pissing off the bouncers and you'll do fine.
