Lets not forget the PS1 and PS2. They both had enough shovelware to build a small working city, but that never stopped them from becoming a massive and significant bedrock in gaming's archeology. And I still say there's plenty to enjoy on the Wii right now. -
Region locking had better be gone by the next gen, or I'm going to be upset. Sniper rifle and clock tower upset.

It's a Korean style "play for free" game. They make their money by selling advertising, on the loading screen etc. Other games also do stuff like offering special items for a nominal price. Some say it's the future.

I've been gaming since I was seven, and now is easily the single best period in gaming I have yet seen. Blockbusters continue to seep out while independents have returned in massive style with the advent in downloadable titles. As result, quality and innovation continues to permeate throughout all genres, salving itself thickly over every surface like KY jelly at a bi-sexual orgy. From invigoratingly original applications like Audiosurf to new spins on classic concepts like Mario Galaxy and Team Fortress 2, story driven epics like Bioshock and technological blockbusters like Crysis, it seem like there's every base covered. Of course there's always going to be the usual crap. The ports, the film-tie-ins. Just stop playing Sonic Team games. Yes they suck, they've been sucking for ten years. There are many, many fine titles for the full range of platforms sitting in your game store right now. Why are you Playing Sonic the Hedgehog? It's like watching a load of Ben Afflek movies and wondering when the action movie genre went all dull and girly. -

Depends how savey a consumer you are. Unless it's a must have release I rarely stray far outside the "2 for £40" range. Should be buying a lot of Wii games by next Christmas, just you see.

Tee-hee, this is the second season in a row I'm playing king maker. Even if I loose, Oddy will almost certainly have to beat me by a decent margin to safely take the prize.

Bah. Unless Threezok pulls off some kind of miracle, I've lost the Championship. Still can't complain though, I'm guaranteed at least third and in with a good chance of taking second. I was expecting to be fighting relegation. Expecting some significant skill increases too. The squad has really exceeded all my expectations.

It would depend. I'd prefer any usable organs to be given away, and the rest to be afforded to science if it's usable. Other wise, cremate it and scatter it on the nearest windy shore.
