  1. Just come from watching this at the cinema... it's an AWESOME film! I give it 8/10 and I'd definitely say it's a must-see!
  2. I'd like to see more expansive and well populated overworlds in games (Zelda)... I guess that's about it really as I'm not overly fussed about graphics as such; I still think Metroid Prime 3 looks as good as almost anything else out there (art trumps all).
  3. I know United played well against us (Chelsea) Fierce Link but we didn't play well at all. If both teams play at their best, I fancy us. It's been a crazy season I must say, no team has really shone above any others but United have undoubtedly been the best overall. I'm glad that we managed to pull back a late surge after that awful run we had. I hope Ancelotti stays, it'd be Bice for us to have a manager that lasts for a change!
  4. Anyone who thinks that Dual Analogue is better than Wiimote aiming is just stupid... yes Lostmario, I'm including you in that! lol

    Sadness

    Ha ha ha!!!
  6. Wednesday 11th May 2011... remember the day N-E, remember the day!
  7. Mother Lover is simply Comedy Gold!
  8. Not really, Ray Wilkins held that position before being let go and we haven't directly replaced him still so it does fit.
  9. Sky Sports News have just reported that their sources are saying that Gianfranco Zola is wanted by Chelsea in some sort of coaching capacity role... rumours are suggesting as Assistant Coach to Ancelotti... HELL YES! Bring Zola back to The Bridge! What a Legend!!!
  10. Ah well, United were just by far the better team today. I can't believe we arrived a minute late too... such a poor way to start a match! We were lucky to have not lost by more to be honest!

    Tina Fey

Is it just me or is there something about Tina Fey that makes you think; "she is smoking hot"..? EDIT- right on cue there Smeagol! Haha
  12. I hope Drogba in a 4-3-3.
  13. That's the thing, CoD isn't actually light years ahead on the HD consoles, it's surprising just how close (except visually) the versions are! I don't really game on my 360 anymore, in fact, the last time I played it was March 2010 (it's actually packed away inside it's box and my bro has my hard-drive) when I do play the 360 it's when I go to a friend's... but basically, since Monster Hunter Tri it's been the Wii that has warranted my full attention. My Gamertag is DARK BIGNOSE though.
  14. Yeah I have a 360 too. Sure compared to the HD versions CoD doesn't stack up visually, but online it does. It only lacks a few things, Ground War I'm not too fussed over, Valkyrie Missiles and the Camera Spike; I don't mind them not being there, Chopper Gunner and Gunship; thank God they're not in the Wii version as they're just too overpowered (by that I don't mean I get killed by them a lot, because when I play on the 360 version it's me doing the killing). I understand why people prefer the HD versions but for me it simply comes down to one thing; the Wiimote is better for FPS than dual analogue... which again isn't to say I'm bad with dual analogue because I still kick plenty of ass with dual analogue pad too!
  15. The graphics in the Conduit aren't any better than other FPS games out there, they're just more shiny. The gun models don't look half as good as they do in CoD for example.
  16. Norwich City fans have been attending Premiership Football matches quite a bit over the last few seasons... you always see a load of them at Old Trafford sporting their yellow and green scarfs!
  17. Id say the Wii is still a bargain at it's release day price. There are absolutely loads of top notch games available for the system that would keep you busy for absolutely ages! Although if the next console is backwards compatible then yeah, either look for as cheap a deal as you can get in the meantime or just hold out until the new console is released, then play the amazing back catalogue of games!
  18. Oh man, it sure is squeaky bum time for United & Chelsea now! I still have a feeling that United will win the league but I have to say that I am mighty impressed with Chelsea clawing our way back into the title race after our worse run of form for 14 years!
  19. Attacking United isn't the best defence as they're such a counter-attacking side. To defend against United you just can't give them time on the ball, their midfield must be put under pressure as soon as they have the ball to force an error. If you give them time they'll pick a pass and hurt you with it.
  20. Poor Spurs, both our goals probably shouldn't have stood; one didn't cross the line and the other looked offside. Still... thank fook! C'mon arsenal tomorrow!
  21. Tough match for us today (Chelsea)... I'm hoping we do the business and that arsenal do united... it'd make next weeks match so much more exciting! We're playing a 4-4-2 I believe with Drogba and Torres... we'll see how that goes... If we are to play 4-4-2, I'd like to see us play a traditional 4-4-2 formation using wingers as opposed to a diamond. My team would be a little something like this: Cech Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Cole Bosingwa, Essien, Lampard, Malouda Torres, Drogba Subs: Turnbull, Alex, Zhirkov, Ramires, Mikel, Kalou, Anelka.
  22. Touché Burny! lol I hadn't realised it took that much to sort the online, Treyarch had said it was all that much of a bother but that kinda sounds like it is. Haha
  23. Burny, Black Ops Wii doesn't have any dedicated servers. Like the other console versions, one player hosts the game and it runs off the Wii's online infrastructure, which does enable a decent service. The developer needs to incorporate the system/net code to match what the online service allows just like they do with the 360/PS3 when they create games. They needn't spend loads of money running dedicated servers and the like, they just need look at their template for how it works on the 360/PS3 and amend to compensate the differences for it to work on Wii... which aren't all that huge. All the other developers could've done the same as Treyarch did and nobody would be complaining. I remember Treyarch had some roundtable with some site prior to Black Ops release (I'll try an find the link, I know it's on YouTube as that's where I watched it) where the Wii version was discussed and they said that it'd almost be matching the other console versions and that it was easy to make it so. It really is a wonder why other developers hadn't bothered just doing the same.
  24. The funny thing is, Black Ops Wii shows that the Wii has a decent online service if the developer does it right! It's pretty much Xbox Live but Black Ops specific, by which I mean you can't see your friends if they're on other games, but if they're on Black Ops then you have all the same options you do as Xbox Live. If other developers just took the time to do this, including Nintendo, the majority of people wouldn't have complained about the service.
  25. 570hrs+ and continuing for me! Monster Hunter truly is an AMAZING game!
