Well that's the thing, the games that we do know about don't interest me at all so I'm already having to clutch to and think about the ones we know very little about. The only one that might interest me right now is Wonderful 101 but even then we haven't seen much of it.

The Nintendo Direct talked about redefining the Zelda series with potential ideas such as co-op or it being more open world. Tbh I felt that that would have been a good opportunity to create a new IP to try out these new ideas instead of revamping Zelda which will probably divide the fans. Early days I know but I badly want Nintendo to try new IPs.

I'm slowly coming to the realisation that I don't want a Wii U and will probably not buy one unless it's mega cheap. In the months leading up to the launch I convinced myself that I'll wait for the good games to come out. But in the back of my mind I've realised that a new Zelda is years away, Mario Kart will just be the same, 3D Mario will be decent but won't be worth buying a console for alone, and a little cautious over Smash Bros. Couple this with my desire to go full digital next gen then maybe Wii U isn't designed for me.

Share features sounds cool if true. Touchpad could be cool too - use different gestures to instantly bring up different menus or traverse through. Not too fussed if Sony swap the dpad and left stick. I don't mind the current positioning but it is definitely more comfortable having it in the position the Gamecube and 360 pad has them. Ultimately though it'll be the games and price point that determines if/when I buy a PS4 rather than technical functionality.

So hyped At a guess we'll get a glimpse of the console and a montage trailer, while at E3 they'll announce the games, release date and price.

It will either be cross generation or Rockstar know next gen isn't coming out this year imo.

I've been applying to a lot of graduate schemes so that I would hopefully have a job lined up in September. I'm getting used to the rejection e-mails but the most recent one hurts a lot. The place I applied for had a 4 stage process (application, coding test, phone interview, assessment day), I made it to the final assessment day but unfortunately I was unsuccessful. What makes it worse is they were my 1st choice by a long shot and the place looked amazing and exceeded my expectations. The email itself was sent 2 hours ago with just a generic rejection message from their graduate recruitment department:angry:. I have to email them back for feedback. I know this is going to sound bitter but the majority of the day was paired work and my partner was full of BS, wasn't open to my ideas and could barely program.

90 day membership is going to be £7.99 again available from Feb 6th for 2 weeks. Tempted to renew as my subscription will be finished on 1st March, but with exams and coursework to be doing I may have to restrain myself. Hopefully somewhere like Amazon will drop the price too so I can just buy a card instead and just wait for another really good month of PS+ before renewing.

I only buy new because I want to support the developers, artists and actors. If pre-owned retailers distributed the money back then I would consider buying pre-owned. I'll buy the odd book or game on eBay only if it's still new and sealed.

I don't think we'll see any Smash Bros as development started in...May last summer? We'll be lucky to get some artwork.

Got this feeling we'll get the first Gamecube VC title. Maybe Pikmin or Paper Mario? Maybe WiiU Sports unveiled too?

If you liked Infamous then you will be amazed by Infamous 2 from the very beginning. Simply gorgeous. I'm definitely going back to do my evil runs on both games in the summer.

A lot has already been mentioned but I definitely feel that Mario needs some time off. Not just the 2D platform games but the sheer amount of sports and party titles he's involved with is getting a bit too much. Likewise with Mario Kart though I would be open to Nintendo opening it up to a Nintendo Kart game. The mainline Pokemon games I feel are aimed at younger people who just got their first handheld console and RPG game who are experiencing Pokemon games for the 1st time so can I understand why the core elements have remained largely the same but that still doesn't make it right. Even though it's been 4 1/2 years since Brawl; I don't think Smash Bros Wii U should come out so soon for the reason Nintendo may be in the mindset of getting a sequel out asap for the sake of there being a new console. Luckily Smash is in the right hands so this shouldn't happen. The 3DS version is fully justified though as it'll be the 1st portable Smash. Maybe release the 3DS one a year before the Wii U version? I don't see either version coming out until 2014 at the earliest. Both LittleBigPlanet and the Uncharted series need a rest.

This game has completely slipped my radar until now. I feel like I deserve a slap because having just watched the GT review it looks simply amazing. Really want the special edition because having the spellbook in front of you instead of on screen would be so much better. (Also Drippy looks awesome!) Only problem is I'm heading into the final 5 months of university so I think I'm going to have to hold out until the summer to buy it. Even if it means missing out on the special edition
