Well at the very latest we'll know by June 6th if PES is coming to Wii U as that's the date of Konami's pre E3 show which includes the PES 14 reveal. I would bet that it is likely PES will come to Wii U and that they've planned on doing so regardless of whether FIFA 14 was too. The good thing is that the next PES is being built from a version of the FOX Engine so I'm hopeful on it being a great football simulation.

Like the good old days then This is my only home friendly as the rest has been away but I still plan to play mainly youths

Went through Thomas was Alone, really nice puzzle game with a simple but engaging story that makes you want to keep going. Think I completed it in 3-4 sessions in total. I'm also playing The Cave, it's a bit stop start as at various points I get completely stuck and have to resort to glancing a walk through for a step in the right direction. Without doing so, I'd be stuck forever. The humour is quite good too.

As the number of marketing material and previews ramps up for the game I'm tempted to do a media blackout until release. The last time I did one was for Skyward Sword. GTA4 is so far my only GTA, and pretty much went into it knowing very little about the game. There are definitely flaws with the game but I imagine my gripes would be more significant if I had played earlier entries in the series. Admittedly I did stop playing midway and went through Sleeping Dogs which was more enjoyable and fun to play. I reckon people would be more fond of GTA4 if it was 5-10 hours shorter as it did start to drag on near the end. That and if they fixed the melee combat which was god awful.

FIFA 15 will be on a new engine so you can almost certainly count that one out too.

Little Boots' new album Nocturnes came out on Sunday. However with the bank holiday and Royal Mail I only received my copy today. It was worth the wait. The album is excellent and I really really hope other people give it a listen. She's self publishing it and is currently only 29th on the midway UK album charts which I feel sorry for as she deserves a lot more success and attention than the album is currently getting. It also sounds like she scrapped an entire album 2 years ago (which is somewhere leaked online) which is why it's been a while since Hands came out 4 years ago. Seems like she's gone through difficult times. Anyway, I hope some others give it a listen Particular favourites are: Crescendo Audio Confusion Audio Broken Record Audio

Kinda sucks that they're all on the same day. I suppose they want to get their conferences out of the way before opening the showfloor. But it would have been nice if they were spaced out over a couple of days just to take it all in, particularly in a year with 2 new consoles. For Sony's I'll just wake up early the following morning and try to watch it spoiler free over breakfast. No Konami or Ubisoft this year?

I had that problem this season. An 18-5 joined up midway but didn't get enough match time so is now a 19-5. I also have an 18-4 that went up to a 19-5 so now I'm unsure whether to get rid of 1 or hope they both jump or double jump next season.

Just wondering how many players in everyone's squad are home grown in your own academy and how many are transfers. Mine has 8 home grown and 10 players bought which I'm satisfied with. Would love one day to have a full team of home grown players.

How many gigs of space does the Basic have after all the patches and title updates? I would be tempted for a £149 console if it wasn't for the fact I'd almost be forced to spend £50 on a hard drive to have DLC and digital downloads.

I'm up for some friendlies! Change report wasn't too bad but had a double jump with a midfielder. Best news is that no one is retiring this season.

I may have to pull out of the cup as unexpectedly it looks like I'll be abroad until the end of the month and I can't guarantee I can set tactics on for 26th/30th/3rd. If you guys still need me to even up the numbers I can do my best to get online but obviously knock me out of the cup if I fail to send/accept invitations!

I wonder if them releasing it in August won't have as much of a difference sales wise than if it was sold in June knowing that a) the Pikmin fan will buy it regardless of when it's out and b) it doesn't have mainstream appeal. It could be that they don't have many Wii U games released in the summer so they're trying to pad it out before the winter lineup. My honest opinion about Nintendo struggling with HD is that it shouldn't be an excuse. They've had years to prepare for the jump to HD and are able to ask for experience and advice from other developers. It just comes off as bad planning. On the flip side, whatever engine the Galaxy runs on I could easily believe it's a HD engine scaled down to SD.

I'm up for the cup. Need to put to bed last year's heartache in the final.

Just bought this as a treat for completing my dissertation: It's an Android box that's designed to be connected to a TV (a bit like the memory sticks you can get). Despite the unfamilar brand they're meant to be pretty decent! Also got this: So that I can type things on the box easier in the living room

Almost safe. There is still a set of scenarios where if I lose and DuD & Aqui1a win I risk getting relegated so I'm still going to have to get 3 points away to Zell.
