Well it opens the doors to allow the government to ban any site they want. For instance, they could ban Mega(upload) & Rapidshare because it is known to host copyrighted content even though there will be users who use the site for legal reasons. Similarly, sites like Tumblr and Reddit could have complete bans because of the content on certain sections. If that happens then people won't feel comfortable having to sign up their details to a government database porn list indicating that they want unblocked internet. My internet should cost cheaper if it's censored.

Services like OpenDNS already provide parental filters for free on a router level in your house so that it can block across all your devices. Maybe the government should just spend more money advertising things like this. Though kids I suppose could get around it with 3G.

Cameron's comments make it sound like he doesn't know how the internet works. ISP's already provide blocks as part of their services and if a parent is too lazy to learn how to use it then don't give your child their own smartphone, tablet, laptop. Get rid of your Wifi and put the computer in the family room. If a film on Netflix has some nudity or sex scene is it going to be blocked too?

Nice incentive by Nintendo for Pikmin3 & W101 and generally encouraging digital download from day 1. Unless W101 is going to be released at a lower price the retailers can't be too happy surely?

Arkham City was fine on the PS3. I'm not that much of a superheroes fan in general but I really enjoyed the story, setting and combat; having to pause the game to see the map was only a minor inconvenience. No different than having to pause Wind Waker to see your inventory or map. As for actual sales, it'll be really interesting to see how much the 360 and PS3 hold up against the new consoles. I wouldn't be surprised to see the X1 do fairly well against the PS4 but at the expense of the 360 significantly lowering its hold.

Comfortable win over Inter which was surprising as we were expecting a much closer affair. If Madpool/DuD avoid a draw then one more point outselves will be enough for safety. Even if we're safe before the last game of the season, I do intend to field a full strength team against the Submarines:heh:

Not a game suggestion but note down your Wii U's serial code (and the gamepad too if it has one) somewhere on paper like in the manual or in a private cloud storage. That way it'll be much easier to get a replacement should anything happen to it like theft.

Reminds me of when I had to put Carlube oil on our PS2 to make the disc drive work again:D. While it's great that there are DIY fixes for game consoles it does make me hesitant in putting a preorder down for PS4 and maybe just wait to see how reliable it is.

Boom Street looks quite fun as a local multiplayer game particularly the idea of investing in different districts. Giant Bomb did their own playthrough of the game a couple of years ago if you want to look at it more.

I'm kinda surprised that the 3DS is doing as well as it is and that it could be affecting WiiU sales. 3DS games seem to be only £5-£10 cheaper than Wii U ones. Though Nintendo Land & ZombiU are only £18 each surprisingly on Amazon. I've always considered getting a 3DS but 1st party titles never seem to drop below £20 so I can't really afford it.

I'm glad they put the podcast out even if it is just one small step towards acceptance and closure. Still so sad and weird just thinking about the news and what's happened. I can't bring myself to watch any of his old videos

With 4 games to go, 6 teams are still trying to avoid relegation in the top league with 2 spots still yet to be determined. Fortunately I'm at home for the last 3 games of the season but it's going to be very close.

Well done to Andy Murray - an amazing achievement particularly after coming back from last year's defeat. It was a fantastic final to watch right from the very first rally and will be remembered highly imo up there with recent Wimbledon finals between Federer & Nadal. Am I in the minority in just not caring about the whole 70+ years since a Brit won Wimbledon that the media hype on about? For me, it's about appreciating high quality tennis regardless of their nationality. Having said that, how shocking was Djokovic at the net?! He had so many opportunities to volley a winner but Murray ended up winning the point. Novak must have felt everything was against him today.

Like with many other PS+ subscribers, I am coming to the realisation that I need to upgrade the hard drive on my PS3. My launch slim comes with 120gb but I'm continually having to delete stuff to make room for others which is becoming a bit annoying as it means I'm not going back to 'older' games. I also want the reassurance of always having a local copy of games I purchased on PSN. So would anyone like to recommend any hard drives for me which are 500GB/750GB or 1 TB? I presume I should avoid places like eBay for this kinda stuff right? eBuyer has a Samsung 1TB for £53, is that good value? http://www.ebuyer.com/275847-samsung-1tb-spinpoint-m8-internal-hard-drive-hn-m101mbb Is it relatively easy to encase the old hard drive into a USB external one? I saw the WiiU version going for around £20 on GAME a few days ago but that one only has 3.5mm output and no RCA. Am I right in thinking RCA with the PS3 will give vastly superior performance. Apparently they're going to release a universal version but I doubt it'll be as low as £30. I'm also hoping it'll work for the PS4. Ta

Payday The Heist comes with a 3GB patch which automatic updates didn't seem to want to download and handle (game itself is about 2.7GB). The initial game didn't install either as it was a Trial + Unlock key which is unfortunate. Apparently Battlefield has a 2GB patch but I haven't booted it up yet to check if it's been automatically downloaded and installed. Would be nice if there was a toggle to automatically download patches for games you've just purchased not just ones you've played. Does the lack of just Far Cry 3 in that sale mean it's going to be on a bigger sale or PS+ soon? Noticed 360 owners can get it for £10 which is a fantastic deal.

Doesn't sound so bad for 360 owners with the first disc just used for the initial install. Though I reckon lowly people may try to trade in their copy with just the 1st disc :/ Realistically how long will it take to do a 8GB install on PS3? Could be worth going to a midnight launch so you can sleep through the install:p

Just a heads up for collectors that GAME are selling the strategy guide for this for £2 instore.
