Just like there was enough for people to buy a WiiU for £300, NSMBU/ZombiU for £55 but it'll just make sense even just psychologically to drop the 2DS to £99 nearer Xmas.

I'm more than likely going to wait until Infamous as like Babooo said this gen is still going strong. Plus I'd rather Infamous was released when it was ready rather than rushed to meet launch. GTA5 & Online will undoubtedly keep me busy for a couple of months then you factor in how much PS+ spoils us it makes sense for me personally to hold out. The fella in my local GAME said if I was to preorder today I'd be part of the second phase unfortunately. Xbox One they still had plenty available. I do have to decide whether to miss out on current gen multiplats like Watch Dogs and to wait or just play them on PS3. Gut feeling is the current gen versions won't perform very well.

It's a great deal. I'm assuming it being a bundle deal you may not be able to trade it in (like Forza 4 Essentials) but either way it's still a good deal. Have to say I'm loving the competiton that is happening between Sony & Microsoft as it means we the consumers are going to win. The PS4 has no analogue AV output but it does have Optical out. You could look into buying something like this but it'll need its own power source and I have no real idea whether there'll be a noticeable degrade in sound quality. Hope this helps.

Round that time was the Amazon & ASDA £199 Premium clearance sale. Going back to liger05's suggestion it would be fair to argue that it was those sales and not the advertising or release of Pikmin 3 which bumped the figures. It's a shame we'll have to wait until mid October but I'm most interested in the September NPD's and seeing how the other new releases and hardware sales fared against GTA V.

Though ideally the players would be interchanging positions far more frequently than they currently do.

Yesterday I was playing PES and there was an incident where the PS3 (launch slim) skipped frames. Today as soon as a match ended it switched itself off and the console had a flashing red light. I managed to switch it back on after spamming the power button but is this the beginning of the end of it?

Go for Netflix. If you want to access the USA catalogue which is top notch then use https://mediahint.com/ or http://hola.org/ on your laptop. My subscription runs out in 2 hours. Going to resubscribe when the latest seasons of certain shows make their way online.

Not sure if it's still the case but it reminds me of the fact that the PVR aspects of a Sky+ box is locked out unless you're paying a subscription. Can't see anyone who is buying an X1 as an AV entertainment box and not for it's gaming be too keen to pay £30 a year for a TV guide and Skype.

If you had signed up for PS+ earlier you could have had Knytt Underground for free:p lttle Dew looks good. Already out on other platforms so hopefully is on WiiU soon. Thinking about it, games like Kerbal Space Program & Thomas Was Alone would be perfect for the gamepad to utilise especially the former.
