    There's strong speculation that Naughty Dog are going to release the multiplayer next month as a free download or at the very least at a cheap price so hopefully we can get some more more N-E players taking part.

    I actually believe the story about the controller having biometric capabilities. I went to a talk by a researcher of using biometrics in games a few weeks ago which was really interesting. What he alluded to was that all the major gaming companies are researching biometric / biofeedback in games too. Though he was under NDA to say which companies he had spoken to or worked with As a concept, biometric gaming is incredibly promising because of the ability to measure things that we don't have direct control of. For example, if you were playing ZombiU, the game might make it more difficult for you to go through your backpack, unlock doors etc if it knows your heart is racing!

    What's the verdict on Vanquish, Binary Domain, and Syndicate? Thinking of getting 1 or 2 of them in the near future. I already have Vanquish in PS+ while the other 2 are around £10 each. Any of them worth playing?

    I agree with pretty much all of you, no where near ready for a new console as I'm still enjoying new games and backlog on PS3. Is there anyone that actually wants a new console this year? I've always wondered whether the Wii U sales might make Microsoft/Sony consider delaying to 2014.

    There was talk that as the music industry has an interest in a high street presence then maybe they'll look to save HMV. I'm not sure it'll happen though as the writing on the wall for HMV has been around for a few years now. In related news there's reports Blockbuster UK is set to go bust. I live in a town of about 22k which incredibly still has a Blockbuster (in a terrible location though - no where near the main town centre). But it looks like if I ever want to just buy or browse games in town I'm left with GAME & Sainsburys. I'd love to see more independent shops set up though.

    I know that ideally we'd like to keep the division numbers equal but when I joined it wasn't based off a referral from a current member. Maybe give them a quick PM on the site to see if they're still interested and asking them to make a post as I'd rather we tried to accept everyone. I can do the cup if it doesnt mess up the numbers.

    Another 2 of my players want to retire:nono: Change Report was ok, it was mostly only the youth that went up. Romero double jumped which I'm happy with as he's only played 12 times for the club. My rookie goalkeeper didn't go up visibly, but I am not too concerned as I had a feeling his true skill last season was between 6.5 and 7 rather than at least 7.

    Have you guys heard of The Wake Up Club coming to Vita? It's already out in Japan while USA are getting it next week for free. It's basically an alarm clock app but it's main USP is that you set your alarm, you then get paired up with 11 other people who too have their alarm set for the same time, but the game element is to see who wakes up the quickest. Then those who have woken up can either cheer on or make it more difficult for sleepers and snoozers to get up themselves.     Seem to remember back in the day that Play.com was one of the few places offering free delivery as well as their decent prices. This was when Amazon's free delivery was only for items over £15. Shame to see them go. So many online retailers seem to be folding, not long ago we lost Choices and Bee. Is the future going to be Amazon, Shopto and supermarkets?

    In the original Tekken Tag I remember you could start a match with your second character by holding down the tag button during the loading screen. Not sure if they implemented this in the sequel though.

    3rd place secured. Too close to call where the title is going. Eights has a tough away game but Odwin's squad is crippled.

    Really like the art style that they've gone for and finally a simultaneous launch. The nostalgia trip in the Direct was pretty cool too.

    Another idea would be a Pokemon game using NFC with either cards or figurines considering how popular Skylanders is.

    If we're in megaton territory then if we're lucky it'll be an MMO on both 3DS and Wii U. Back of my mind though is maybe a Pokemon Colosseum-esque game.

    I'd be tempted by a Steambox purely because of how cheap games can get as a result of Steam sales and bundles. That and the fact I'm preferring digital download rather than game discs and boxes which just take up space.

    I was playing around on my Wii before it gets packed up today (on it's 6th birthday too ) and I noticed the Youtube app was up on the EU store. It's actually really good and a lot more comfortable to use compared to the Youtube apps found on the PS3, smart TVs etc particularly for searching. I ended up watching a Giant Bomb Quick Look and there was no buffering. Definitely worth checking out the app if you don't have a Wii U.

    Had a feeling we'd slip up today. Next 4 games are massive. Derby at home to Inter. Away to Madpool (usually lots of goals) Away to Eights (probable title decider) Home to Odwin which is always tough.

    Fantastic report Haden Don't mind the changes too much. It's good to see the Xpert Pools given a more prominent location after you select your team. It might encourage more people to take part each week.

    I caved in and bought the deal. Blaming the web store. Which one should I play first? Unfinished Swan or Journey?

    Today's Christmas deal is Journey + Unfinished Swan for £10. (Or £9 if you have PS+). So so so tempted but my bank balance is diminishing so much thanks to Sony and Christmas presents. Are the games worth it?
