  1. That's cool. Also, anything is scrobbleable on last.fm. :p Hurt So Good gets my vote. Bit more accomplished as a song. Evanescence are entertaining in tiny doses, but this was meh.
  2. First driving lesson today, but I have a question; What do I have to show the guy, is he asked for "two bits of paper"? Cause all I have is my card, and a green and pink sheet.
  3. Lost Season 4 episode 1 Watched the first 3 series years ago, then stopped, cause I don't have sky1/money. Getting back into it, see how it goes. Forgot a lot of what happened. It was good, but not much happened.
  4. Just watched it on iPlayer, very awesome. Generally he's so pointless. No one needs racism and segregation. Bonnie stunned me. Randomly there, but so appropriate.
  5. Well, you should have chosen a Sonic Youth song that would grab people more! :p I like them but even I was in two minds on this one.
  6. =Music Wars 2= Match 7 You - Evanescence Not on We7 Not on Spotify (Not sure if this is even eligible for the contest, doesn't seem to have been officially released, but I'm dealing. I should have checked all the songs beforehand, but I didn't.) Hurt So Good - Susan Cadogan We7 Spotify: spotify:track:0cyUpMQnbhrHTcMykJfFPn --- Round 1 Match 1: Joy Division vs. Nine Inch Nails Match 2: Patrick Wolf vs. Dashboard Confessional Match 3: Daft Punk vs. Major Lazer Match 4: Fleet Foxes vs. Florence and the Machine Match 5: Boney M. vs. Sonic Youth Match 6: Kylie Minogue vs. Jade Ewen? Match 7: Evanescence vs. Susan Cadogan? --- Get listening, then vote!
  7. Closing, Rasputin wins!
  8. It's very incongruous, but good. Not quite as "WOWOWOWOWOW!" as a lot of others I keep harking on about (Cosmic Love, Howl, Rabbit etc) but still good. I chop off YGTL from my copy on iTunes, it's obviously just an add-on at the end, and sounds completely out of place.
  9. Video for You've Got The Love by Florence and the Machine Logical as a single, but strangely not the album version of the song, apparently it's the B-side recording of it. I think I prefer this one anyway. I never really got why it was so rated above her own songs (this being a cover). Cosmic Love, Howl etc are far better.
  10. ^ Yeah..why I hate the audition bits of X Factor. / Talent shows in general.
  11. I don't understand the question and I won't respond to it. --- Prince or Queen? (the musical acts)
  12. My friend and I had such a laugh just reading out the headlines from those shit magazines in the newsagents near college one day. Fucking hilarious. I love how the model woman on the cover of each is grinning ear ot ear, with huge headlines like "Raped, Beaten and then...EATEN; My Terrifying True Holiday Horror".

    Nerves

I get nervous over things that I'm not really afraid of/aren't scary or whatever, but that are new. I think. I'm having my first proper driving lesson (not my test or anything) tomorrow, and I'm nervous about that. Despite it presumably being the one where you're meant to learn how to drive for the first time, and I'll have some advantage of already having driven around in my car a few times already.
  14. They had me at Rid of Me Of me Of me* *this line is sung to the tune of Hello by Beyonce --- The title track from Charlotte Gainsbourg's new album I.R.M is available for free download from her website. For those who've never heard of her, she's an singer/actress, who was in Lars Von Trier's Antichrist and did the spoken bit on What If Feels Like For A Girl by Madonna.
  15. I wasn't talking about the cover art...I was referring to ReZ's refusal to show us what his friend drew. :p
  16. I do intend on watching series 4 and 5 (and then 6) at some point, but I can never be arsed. Considering I watch most TV shows on my mac anyway, I should probably just do that...
  17. Everyone seems to be pleasantly suprised by it's quality (at least on @forums, the tori forum I mainly go on), but I'm waiting to buy it, cause as I mentioned above, I wouldn't get around to spending the money if I already had it on my computer. Semi-looking foward to it, mostly not bothered. I've never listened to No Wow in a single sitting, it's quite demanding. Keep On Your Mean Side is my fave album of theirs by far, and IMO, combines the best of both the ones you mentioned.
  18. Oh...what Invincible issues should I have read? Last I read, it was the aftermath of Conquest (I think). 65? --- ReZ, seriously, I fucking hate teases.
  19. ?!?!?!?!?! Link/show me now bitch.
  20. Glee - Mash-Up "Don't you have a wife, Rod?" "...she drowned. So now I have a condo to myself!" I semi-hate how pointless Emma is being. And I'm mentally crying in anguish at when they'll deal with the fact that Terri/Teri isn't actually pregnant. They keep postponing it. Either way, Sue/the humour in this is amazing. Puck felt random in this one, but nice to see a bit of backstory past his milf-ing. I wish Quinn would blow her nose.
  21. Oh I know! My unusual habit of not liking listening to things I might potentially want to own on Spotify. I feel dirty if I do so, and it just frustrates me. I use it for albums I wanna give a wee listen to, but would never really want, or to check out an artist I've never heard of, but it pains me to listen to something I want to own on iTunes, on Spotify.
  22. I needed to choose an object to do for my half-term project I haven't started, that would interest me to draw/work from, but that I could "deconstruct"/take apart/destr0y! So I chose one of my sister's old barbie dolls. I'm scared of how I'll make it not just look like a weirdly drawn woman though.. (obviously until I take it apart)
  23. So wait, has all of Season 2 been filmed?
  24. Ooh, Chair saw Solaris. Spooky, I have it sitting on my desk now, ready to be watched. I have 2 films on the go at the moment, Lars Von Trier's Manderlay, the sequel to the thought-provoking Dogville, and F.F. Copolla's Bram Stoker's Dracula, which I'm 2/3 through. At the start I was like "...I hate (Keanu Reeves/shit). So MUCH". And then suddenly it becomes stunningly directed with really unsettling cinematography and stunning visuals. I love erotic too. I'll watch it all before I rate though.
  25. Cool, actually just got Parade, forgot about the existence of Kiss, despite it being one of his biggest singles. :p Also got Lovesexy (which sounded great), and Around The World In a Day. Trying to catch them all. -- I gace the first few tracks on Alexandra Burke's album a listen (my cousin bought it) and thought it was dissapointing. Bad Boys is shit (no.1 wut) but I assumed that was just "the single", but the next 2 songs were also bad. I'll listen in full at some point though.
