  1. My little sis started watching it on Netflix. She enjoys it a lot, and recognised a lot of the songs they use throughout the episodes.
  2. The song "Running up That Hill" by Kate Bush is at number one this week, because this 1985 hit was recently used in Stranger Things. What's old is now new again. LOL!
  3. Well for myself, quite frankly, I am more interested in the new PS5 multiplayer game. We'll probably not be getting any further news about it for a while, but it's great that Naughty Dog can finally focus on new characters. Not that I wouldn't want to see Ellie, Abby or Lev again. Maybe they could all turn up in the third, official entry. I'm assuming this game set in San Francisco, is meant to be a separate, side story kind of adventure.
  4. Looking forward to it this October. The full game can now be enjoyed in third person from when the additional content becomes available. But I think Ethan's face will still not be clearly seen. His daughter Rosemary is getting her own storyline, in third person too.
  5. What do you think of the Dead Space type game? Is that a spin off?
  6. The new The Last of Us spin off sounds excellent. However, I guess it could still be far off. 2023, or 2024 maybe. At least Naughty Dog, I'll say something that needs to be said. They're known to take their time with their products, and it comes out all the better for it. Edited for a lousy incorrect year. 2014 is the past. Or did I type 2024?
  7. Bethesda, maybe you can surprise us by unveiling The Evil Within 3.
  8. As always, Capcom are just up to their old money grabbing ways. The upcoming Netflix series looks rank as well, and they claim it's canonical. How is Wesker black now? Maybe it's a different Albert Wesker. It's pointless to remake RE4 when it's already widely available. Will likely end up feeling like a downgrade, as was the case with RE3, and even 2. Yes, 2. That game got a lot of positive reviews, but it had way too much cut content. I just wish they would stop rehashing past glory for to make a fast buck.
  9. As predicted, RE4 may have a lot of things extracted from it. That's typical of Capcom. But do note that this hasn't been verified yet. I still think fans are going to go wild once it's formally revealed, nonetheless.
  10. Look what people are talking about again. Any chance of it being revealed this summer? https://youtu.be/N8k57cWz1Bg
  11. Of course, a new rumour popped up about Resident Evil 9. But I think Capcom would likely prefer to promote the remake of RE4 first. I hope they reveal something this summer. :-)
  12. I just want to see The Last of Us remake. We know it has been rumoured for ages.
  13. I was worried that if Bloober Team got to work on Silent Hill, that they would omit the combat mechanics in favour of simply exploring the environment, and running from threats. Because I don't like games where you cannot fight back with any weapons. But I think Clock Tower is an example of a game that gets the idea of evasion mostly right...
  14. Actually, a lot of fans like that game from the early 2000s. The same with Dead Aim. It's not quite as detested.
  15. RE6 was trash. You know? Capcom tried to rip off Gears of War 3 with that game. They did a lot of spin off titles that are stinkers as well. Namely Umbrella Corps and Operation Raccoon City. It's a wonder Capcom even published those games in the first instance. They were absolutely awful... Rather than doing a proper PS5 co-op RE game or something, they tack on these ridiculous non canon modes into the mainline games. Like none of it is even good. It's practically lazy to not do proper storylines for these minor characters. So I think that 2012 was a really bad year for the company.
  16. Thank you for the link. I think something is going on tomorrow. Capcom occasionally has updates to provide, and one for RE8 could be in the pipeline next.
  17. I quite like Song of Horror. It's a PS4 horror game that has fixed camera angles. I just can't see Capcom ever doing a game like that ever again. But I think third person is better anyway. Although I wouldn't mind if Capcom decided to become nostalgic for it again.
  18. Finally. My proof! Note that when I play a clip on YouTube though, it's rather noisy. That's because I should have turned down the sound. But meh. You have been warned... I talk quite a bit about games Capcom had taken ideas from, in the past, around the very time those aforementioned games were released.
  19. The remake is awful, though. It doesn't look nor play like the original game. There's clipping issues, a linear gameplay style, and no real exploration of the city, despite what Capcom said. Like, I think you just go to a toy store and a doughnut shop. In the original, you went to so many more places. And they were actually places you could walk inside. They weren't just scenery.
  20. I was actually so bored a few weeks ago, that I played Resident Evil 6 as Chris. And while I think it's disgraceful to the franchise overall, it's still a pretty kick arse game. That is, if you enjoy shooting up everything. I wonder what's going with the DLC for Resident Evil Village, because Capcom hasn't had any updates to provide us since June. Not that the game is all that brilliant anyway. They're probably going to do a Lady Dimitrescu side story or something, as fans got very little of her in the main game, because when Capcom was heavily promoting her to the simps through the trailers that inspired those memes about her, nobody knew that she was just a glorified side villain. You know?
  21. The remake of Resident Evil 3 is still selling massive amounts of copies. The same with the second remake, which I am not particularly fussy about either. I think that game is terrible. If Capcom were intending to make a mockery of the original game, then they certainly succeeded.
  22. Health is wealth. Don't ever take up smoking.
  23. Last week, my mother suffered a heart attack, brought on by near renal failure. I think she is improving, but I only found out on Sunday night that she was hospitalised. You can imagine I was very agitated that nobody had informed me sooner.
  24. Well, I'd be lying if I said I wanted anybody else other than Team Silent. Of course, they're no longer with Konami. They are working on a new horror game, though, which I hope will have combat involved. I hate games where you run like a wimp. And you have to hide, as there's no weapons. You know? Like in Song of Horror or Clock Tower.
