I was rather peed off about Tango Gameworks. Definitely grateful for both The Evil Within games being produced when the survival horror genre was in a modest slump. Hopefully they will be able to work on new horror projects someday.

Are there any good road horror movies on Netflix at the moment? I like ones about couples being stalked in the middle of nowhere. So I mean ones like I Know What You Did Last Summer, for example.

Currently playing Silent Hill 2, and Bloober Team hit the ball right out of the park. For anybody who was doubtful before, man. I honestly wish they'd take over from that lousy M-Two for Capcom. They did a stellar job. The game is longer than the original, and the story isn't a flipping hack job of a state either, like what Capcom did with their RE remakes. The creatures are all faithfully redesigned. There's more places to explore. It's a win-win all around. Some cutscenes feel a bit wooden when they talk, but I mean. SH characters were always rather confused in their tone anyway. But hell. Just be glad Konami is back, baby. Back with a vengeance!

Gunther trying to rile up Bret Hart by mentioning Goldberg was an epic troll move for a bit of heat in Canada. 😜 I got a DVD once with a game, that covered his career beginning from when he started out in his dad's Stampede Wrestling promotion. I wasn't a fan of WWE or WCW during the 90s, so I missed all of his feuds. But I got into WWE around the time of that 'invasion' stuff, when WCW and ECW was about to be merged with the then, WWF. Then they had a great run in 2002 where a lot of big names debuted, and there was the very first elimination chamber match, Brock Lesnar beating up everybody on his way to the title, then Evolution formed and ruled the red brand in 2003, and so on. It sucked during the PG era. They have been picking up, though. And MVP being in AEW is actually cool. He's a great talker. He will likely resume the Hurt Business as the slightly altered name of the Hurt Syndicate, I think. Especially since his cohorts Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin have gotten out of their WWE contracts. By the way, does anyone like Nia Jax? I'm surprised she hasn't joined the Bloodline stable yet, being related to Solo Sikoa.

Well, I do apologize. You see, I did not view the video itself at the time of posting the trailer, or what I just assumed was a trailer from the thumbnail. All I did was embed it. However, the movie is in fact due for release next June, confirming it is coming out. There's a second part being shot as well, and a script is ready for a third movie to get underway, which I will assume is to round off a new trilogy of sorts.

Did they wait 28 years to do a sequel? Yes. Pretty much. 🤤

Thanks. I had been going to post a thread, but I made sure to look first to see if one was already submitted on the forum. Consider Silent Hill: Townfall axed, and a minor footnote in gaming history at this point. When devs go silent for way too long with no update in sight, that's usually not a good sign that things are running as they ought to be. I'm sure loads of Silent Hill fans are beside themselves on GameFAQs right about now, saying "I told you so" and the like.

This should tide you over until the remake of Silent Hill 2 comes out.

It looks as if Bloober Team has added more to the game, while keeping it faithful to the source material. I like how you can explore the town. 🫣 So far, everything seems okay, if a little stiff in terms of Maria not moving around much in the cell. The original game does that scene in a more erotic way. Even so, the pro Kojima fans aren't going to be forgetting about 2015 at any point soon. I blooming hate typos. 😑

They're mocking it by making a really good game that goes on to sell millions. What a way to mock it! The game has loads of issues. It was rushed, and Nemesis mutated way too fast. The way Brad Vickers dies is lousy too, among other things. He was supposed to die at the RPD, and NOT in Bar Jack. Also, they left out the second ending with Barry saving Jill. Meh. RE2 had a lot of flaws as well, but not one person dares to say otherwise.

John Cena retiring next April truly is the end of an era. I can still remember his first match in the summer of 2002. The one where he narrowly lost to Kurt Angle.
