This may sound unpopular, but I have more faith now in Bloober Team for Silent Hill projects than Capcom does with their RE games, and not just remakes. I just mean as a whole. RE has been going downhill for ages. But whatever. I don't feel like bashing Capcom, except I will say this... RE8 was really dumb. It was like RE4 meets Dracula meets, a bunch of other stuff.

I sold Silent Hill 3 ages ago. A new copy will cost me a fair bit. I wouldn't be surprised if Bloober Team ends up remaking the first game, and the third. But I kind of tire of not having enough original games. It's like what Capcom has been doing. Milking things. Adding a new spin on something that, to me at least, should already be done and dusted. Like i.e constantly basing the RE timeline back in 1998 and Raccoon City. As if we need that every few years when the outcome is obvious. The city is nuked and the new medium gets lame reviews. It just cheapens a franchise's legacy when they wreck it in the most unnecessary manner.

I still hold out hope for a sequel to Days Gone. I also really think the game was one of the absolute best of the 2010s. Call me a fool, but that game is awesome, and Sony are a bunch of ungrateful idiots.

At least an update on Silent Hill f has finally occurred. With how many companies go bust today, and with games going on the chopping block, this type of update, even if it's small, kind of relaxes your mind a bit.

I was bored yesterday, so I listened to Jon Moxley chatting on a podcast with Chris Jericho, where Moxley was open about his departure from WWE in 2019. I'd have left too. Those promos Vince wanted him to say live were just the dumbest. 🤪

Yeah. I agree that RE2 is the better game. But the first remake is graphically impressive and somewhat more creepy. But I do get what you mean. It was the reason I got into survival horror, in fact, so it must be heavily praised. I really believe RE as a whole just turned into a mess once RE4 introduced all the silliness that bestowed itself to the other eventual releases in the franchise. This is particularly evident in RE8. It feels like Tim Burton was giving a huge sum of money to do a fantasy RE game. LOL. It really does look like a Tim Burton movie once Mia Winters reads from that book. Although I also don't like how Chris keeps gaining a different look. Like, he often looks too young, or too old. And Jill wearing the same tanktop from the remake of RE3 in the latest animated movie was just odd, to me, because it is meant to take place during 2015. And her attitude is pretty lame now, compared to the older games where she was more like the famous movie females such as Ellen Ripley, or Sarah Connor. It just reaks of modernisation. You know?

I know that Annapurna Interactive had their issues, of course, which almost signalled bad news. This movie reminds me of Humanoids from the Deep. It has similar gilled monsters that emerge from the sea to devour a lot of unsuspecting beach goers.

WWE is moving to Netflix, which is actually a good thing. WWE and movies for just a mere tenner, or so. 😁
