Speaking of dressing the part, on saturday night paramount comedy rescreened the South Park "metrosexual" queer eye episode (as well as the one about Stan's dog & Big Gay Al, and the one about Mr Garrison trying to get himself fired for being "too gay" at school, where Mr Slave is introduced... south park gay tribute night or something?) Wasn't there a code in the 70's/80's about having a red or white napkin in your pocket? Don't know any details of this...

Well i was pretty surprised when i got chatted up at a (very straight atmosphered) rock/metal club once by someone that wouldn't even make a blip on a gaydar screen, it made me wonder how many other gay/bi ppl there are who just blend in and go unnoticed. It also made me think "how'd he know? was i that obvious?" (turned out he knew someone that knew me) Wow, cool trailer/gallery looks like 1 for the dvd collection (one day in the distant future when i have money again)... was it straight-to-dvd?

Ever play Headhunter on Dreamcast/PS2? The bike scenes remind me of that a bit.

I found From Russia With Love to be the best Bond game since Goldeneye. Apart from the crappy hedge level (it's the 2nd stage i think), that's just plain boring & monotonous. The rest of the game is ace tho.

Guess it's because K7 was killing mutated zombie like creatures & monsters. Manhunt was basically a murder competition between humans. Obvious which one will make JackT and friends more excited...! (assuming he has any)

The Wii memory card management screen's much slower for copying/moving tho, i recently got a 1019 and was taking ages to move all the saves from my 251; eventually just took them to my bedroom & used the cube.

Thanks for the nindie link - just found a whole load of potential places to try for US cube games & possibly restocking my NTSC N64 collection that got lost in a burglary Although it does list eplay as my nearest and AFAIK they're not indie any more

Ok, now you're scaring me 4q2.

Yoshi's story was made to be played multiple times, trying to find all of the same fruits in the level was a decent challenge.

Watching a friend's older brother playing Space Invaders, and a cousin playing pacman, on holiday when i was too short to see the screen without standing on a chair.

I should've imported a US Wii.

Friend of mine went to Barcelona and found this scary fake "mario as a mouse" fig. I feel i have to share the trauma.... Anyone else have/seen other fake nintendo copy stuff like this?

I only just managed to find Burnout 2 in UK for a half decent price (around 20 euros), been keeping an eye out for a couple of years!

The multipack idea is what i like - i wished they'd done a full PoP trilogy like they did on PS2, rather than just re-releasing PoP:TTT on Wii and charging full price for it.

Considering this is the same company who's taken over a year to make a shmup (for which there's only been released about 5 seconds of gameplay footage), i wouldn't be surprised if it is just a bunch of cowboys cashing in on investor's money for a couple of years then declaring bankruptcy. Hope i'm wrong tho...

Just finished the mission called "Tetsuo's Games" and Red Steel now has a place up there in my "top 5 videogame moments" list. That stage was just mind blowingly brilliant. Oh and i'm convinced someone at Ubi was smoking cheese while watching the Saw movies when that level was conceived.

Eledees (compared to the original Elebits).

Have you heard Darkesword's version of the Ancient Hero theme on overclockremix (ocremix.org)? It's gotta be 1 of the best OCR's i've ever heard.

PS2 game, i know, but Gregory Horror Show was ace.

how many games have you got on a memory card 251
mr_bogus replied to stuwii's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Were the 1019 memory cards ever released in Europe? They have them on videogamesplus for £20, tempting... although ever since my copy of RE4 got held in customs for a couple of frustrating weeks, and i had to pay an extra £7 when i collected it, i haven't imported anything over £18. -
That is scary. I played the 2D games and wouldn't slate them as much as he said (although in those days i probably didn't notice things like how well you can control landing after jumps) but the 3D game does just look unfinished - as though the texture artist walked out 25% into the project or something!

Was Bubsy 3D actually finished? Those look like beta shots! I loved Sphinx, thought it was so underrated. If you play it you can see they really put a lot of work into that game. Anyone tried Super Monkey Ball Adventure?

I found turning the speech to Jap and leaving English subtitles made the voices infinitely better, a lot of the random lines & "whooaa"s, etc make more sense when it sounds more like a crazy anime episode.

I got Scaler on import from videogamesplus, don't think it got a PAL release on the cube, but it's really good - lots of jumping, tongue flicking, smacking, grinding on vines, transforming into other animals, etc. So i was wondering, since we all know the popular 3D platformers on the cube - Mario Sunshine, Sonic Adventure, Billy Hatcher etc, which of the lesser known platformers do you own and how would you rate them? Did anyone ever play platformers like Vexx, Kao, Tak, Ty, etc?
