    Don't blame Suda/whoever for censoring it, just so that it'll pass the strict UK censor boards; rather blame BBFC for being such asswipes about violent games. This is a direct rebound of the Manhunt 2 ban, and the BBFC are rubbing their hands together & grinning like mules.

    Ok ok, replace Capcom with whoever actually did the censoring. That's the least relevant part of my statement. "BFFC just won round 2" is the bit i wanted to get across.

    I get the feeling it's actually a lot simpler than what they say: Suda51: NMH is more violent than Manhunt 2. BBFC: Manhunt 2 is too violent for this country. Censor it. Capcom: Let's avoid the hassles & just release the censored version in UK/Europe. The sad part of this is: BBFC: +1 point to us. We have the country under control. British Public: Baa.

    I'd say when the older one approaches 30, shouldn't go for under 18 if possible. But age gap becomes less & less of an issue the older you (both) get, eg. 25y/o with 45y/o no problem... depends on the people tho - is the younger one mature & experienced for their age, or naive/being guilt-tripped/coerced beyond their own comfort, etc. I know people who are 18 and are 100x better at it than i was at the age of 20/21 when i started having my first encounters (feel free to point & laugh, i'll be laughing louder)

    XGIII was great, and smooth, and had nice music. My only gripe was at one stage the enemies discovered mines, and suddenly the difficulty hit a big spike. The cube version's the best, because of the notches on the controller for pushing up to lean forward accurately (ie without turning). I'd recommend against XGRA tho: great looking game, excellent soundtrack, but random frame rate issues from hell which really ruin the flow. (The xbox version has the same frame rate issues btw).

    I think marketing has a lot to do with the successful sales of a console - in the entire cube's lifespan i remember seeing 1 10-second TV spot for Metroid Prime, compared to eg. the Playstation 2 logo being everywhere you looked. DS and Wii are everywhere you look. Everyone's brainwashed by the marketing all around them, so everyone's talking about them and that makes the hype mill turn. The advertising explosion this gen has paid off for Nintendo. Same with the software. Same with music CD's. Same with DVD's. You spend money to make money, and the biggest sellers are often the ones that get the biggest advertising budgets.

I worked with someone who said he didn't feel the same way as other men & found women's thought patterns etc to be much closer to his own, but he wasn't attracted to men. So he defined himself as "a lesbian female trapped in a man's body"

    I remember playing around 6 hours of Doom multiplayer at Uni, and walking to the busstop afterward i kept seeing those invisible pig baddies running after all the cars & biting at them.

    If you can track down a Hori digital gamecube pad (the one shaped similar to the SNES pad), it's ace for any 2D games. I originally got mine from play-asia but not sure if they still stock them... darksnowman: What didn't you like about the GBA version of DKC3? The new music?

    If someone didn't enjoy P.N.03, it was usually because they didn't understand the unique sequential control method. Trivia: P.N.03 was built on 1 of the older versions of the Resi 4 engine (apparently it went through 4 or 5 incarnations).

    Don't miss it in FPS's, dual analog FPS control just feels so fumbly & outdated. Wii pointer still < mouse, but comes damn close. I was worried about how Geometry Wars Galaxies would work, but apparently it has 2 diff control types (nunchuck + pointer, or dual analog with classic controller).

    Not sure if they do, tho i did have a scart one for the xbox/cube/ps2 which worked nicely. Better to look for a muti-cable, than for a switch box - switchers seem to always lose quality (i tried many scart ones).

Works really well.
