Being a framerate whore myself, i'd agree almost fully with Steggy. On something like Mario Kart, if there's a once-off jerk / slowdown when there's a million things going on onscreen, which is hardly noticeable, i'll forgive it. However if we're talking regular noticeable choppiness that stands out and affects the game, it's unacceptable, eg lots of Ubisoft games - the erratic framerates seriously ruined Beyond Good & Evil, Prince of Persia 1-3 and Red Steel for me, even tho i enjoyed the games immensely. I've read 1 review which said that for them, the framerate actually added to the whole "hand-drawn anime cartoon" style which is an interesting perspective.

Looks like a wicked game, i was getting really excited for this until they announced it wasn't being released outside of Japan. Capcom says nothing further to announce.

Only if it's released in 5.1 surround Apparently it'll have licensed music from Michael Jackson If you have to stand up with a wiimote in each hand and do the dance with her, that would be ace.

Had a dream about a new Pilot Wings once. Basically the missions similar to the last one were just the "training", to get your license. Then the game opened up into this massive free-roaming world where you got into hanggliders, planes, rocket packs etc & went around doing different tasks in a massive free roaming world. Ever since, me want. Apart from that, a new Turrican could be ace.

It's a really good game, although there are some real difficulty spikes that had me throwing horses and children across the living room. Wish the framerate was more constant too... i wonder what the xbox version was like? Shame that games like Metal Arms & Sphinx don't get more recognition in the market. -

In defence of the GBA version of DKC3, a lot of the "stop & wait a bit" annoyances in the SNES version were fixed & the levels did seem to flow better.

Think it's time for a bloodless Europe-friendly re-release of Monty Python and the Holy Grail? Funny how James Bond can get away with shooting someone in the head at point blank range, provided he says a witty one-liner at the time.

Never got to the final boss on MP2 before, i restarted it 2 - 3 times but just kept getting lost. Hopefully this time i'll break that habit...

Just finished MP1 and started 2 again. This brought on by getting MP3 MP1 is still 1 of the most engrossingly ace games ever. The only thing that got on my tits was the double final bosses - i kept dying on the 2nd one, then having to go all the way through that huge difficult room again then fight the 1st boss again before trying the 2nd one. The number of games i've given up on when they did that (Zelda Minish Cap, Sonic Advance 3, the list goes on)

The choppy framerates didn't throw you off? I can imagine them being even worse in multiplayer...

Ok just watched the import impressions http://www.gamevideos.com/video/id/16811 and i see the red "monty python amount" of blood has been replaced by a more subtle amount and it's black. I didn't think my want factor for this game could get much higher, but this video made it happen. Killer 7 was about collecting the blood to use as serum, as well as the odd special move like Kaede's wrist slash to reveal hidden messages.

Anyone know how accurate Michael Bay's rant last month was? He was going on about Microsoft pushing the worse format for the sole purpose of stumping BR's growth, so that they could later rise out of the ashes of the format war with digital downloads...

Do you have any links to video/s of the EUR/PAL version? Killer 7 couldn't work without the blood, it was an integral part of the gameplay.

Cool new pix Rokhed! Takeo (legend has it he started the biggest thread ever) is from there, so he's probably a good person to ask. I've been there and it's pretty easy to find the scene (south chunk of the city centre, by the canal), but i wouldn't know about accomodation.
