I don't understand why everyone found it such a disappointment compared to Rogue Leader, i mean not only did it contain the ENTIRE Rogue Leader as a bonus, but the game had everything Rogue Leader had to offer (with even better graphics), PLUS extra sections. Because these extra on-foot sections had crap walking animations or weren't as good as the flying bits, this makes the entire game a disappointment?

Ah i remember that P.N.03 demo disc at game, i was tempted at the time to put in a preorder, even if i decided to cancel, but didn't. Pity. Nice about Rebel Strike & Geist (both underrated in my opinion, just played through Geist & finished it a couple of weeks ago!).

Geist and No More Heroes show that whether a good game's published by Nintendo or not, it can still sell below expectations. Big marketing budgets are what sell games in big numbers. Sad but true.

Not exactly "own", and both the GBC and the GBA ones were done as second party for Nintendo. The GBC one was an entirely different team to GBA ones and most of the graphics looked like they were redone from scratch. What didn't help the GBA ones (mainly 1 and quite a lot of 2) was "oh we can just use the original SNES graphics... oh wait, you can't see it on a dark GBA screen, so just turn up the brightness until it's all washed out instead". (As well as all the other issues darksnowman can probably tell you about if you have a couple of hours)

The HMV near me (at least i think it was HMV, may have been gamestation) had a whole shelf of GC Twilight Princesses about 3 months ago going for £20 each. Can't believe i didn't grab one.

Don't you hate those dreams when you're ABOUT TO do something you really want, but other stuff keeps getting in the way... then by the time you wake up you still never got round to doing the main thing? Oh and Rokhed & DomJcg: I think you should combine your 2 dreams, smuggling easter eggs through a train station which turns out to be a maze with the walls lined with urinals, while being chased by Godzilla, King Kong and the guy that wants to watch you peeing.

Wow, good choice! I've been playing through Geist and it's really good. On the final stage now. Oh and Billy Hatcher is TEH LOVE. La la la-la lalalalalala *song goes off in head for the rest of the day*

The problem with relying on internet word-of-mouth for game sales is, if it comes out and gets a few bad reviews, almost all your potential ex-sales are gone.

I remember being in a similar situation in college/uni, i would just give ambiguous answers like "let's not go there" which could be taken either way (muggles seemed to take the "safer" literal meaning).

My Dreamcast version of CV was stolen in a burglary a few years back If i'm on the lookout to replace CV, which format's most recommended?

I downloaded it, unzipped it then realised it wasn't a gameboy rom after all - was a windows app & i'm not using windows will try it on a different PC... Edit: Just tried it. Looks & sounds sweet! Only problem is the gameplay runs at about 1 or 2 fps for me
