It literally takes half a second to turn the controller back on and 2 seconds to turn it off again... Yes, a standby mode would be slightly more convenient but is hardly necessary.

Hold the home button, in the menu choose turn off device.

Turn it off, then? It's funny, I never had any problems controllers. My DS4, 3DS, Vita, Pro Controller, penis, etc all last longer than what you guys are experiencing. The Gamepad is horrible, though. Not that it's an issue as I don't use my Wii U anymore :p

I took a break from Uncharted 4 and played Call of Duty: Black Ops III Multiplayer to finish up the final challenges for a certain weapon camouflage. Short explanation: Get 100 headshots/100 one-shot-one-kills with every weapon and after that complete 5 more challenges for each (with the knife you have to get 200 kills and then 5 more challenges), then you acquire the Dark Matter Camouflage. I did it As I mentioned in the dedicated thread: I've already spent more than 200 hours with the multiplayer and I won't stop in the near future. : peace:

Yeah, it's annoying. I mean, I like my 1.48 over-all K/D, but mainly because I play Team Deathmatch 99% of the time which means my K/D helps the team win. When I see people with 50/5 stats on domination but without a single capture...URGH! That's the reason why I don't play objective based matches. And that's why I hope those contracts I mentioned encourage people to go for objectives. Managed to get the last 3 5-kill streaks with the knife Now I only need to kill someone with the knife, pick up their weapon and kill them with it. 3 times and I'm done. Edit: And there it is: No idea how long it took me, especially since I took a lot of breaks from going for those challenges but now I did it : peace: Several weapons made me think about how to play, how to set up my loadouts, how to use the specialists. While it may be a grind for some players, for me the road to Dark Matter was an incredibly fun and varied journey Now my playtime for the multiplayer is almost at 220 hours and I'm not stopping.

I hope the Black Market contracts will help with objective based modes. If the contracts will be something like "Win 10 Capture the Flag matches" I can see more people going for the objectives. In other news: I only need the final 5 camos for the Combat Knife and then the Dark Matter Camo will be mine I have just now managed to get two Bloodthirsty medals with the knife. 3 to go...I think this will be the most difficult camo to get across all weapon classes. A couple of backstabbings, revenge and survivor medals. And then I'm done with the weapons :awesome:

Ah, I probably won't be given that opportunity on my second playthrough since I don't go out of my way to collect collectibles on my first playthrough for any game I think I'll just play the game on the easiest difficulty with a guide to knock out the collectibles and speed-run trophy (and maybe some other misc trophies). However, I do kinda want to complete the game on crushing without gameplay modifiers. Currently on chapter 16 on hard, but it's not really that hard. If you manage to take out the majority of enemies in an encouter via stealth the gunplay is not too difficult. Not sure how close I am to the end, but I don't think that there have been any pacing issues in the first 15 chapters. Some reviews pointed out that the pacing is a bit off from time to time but I have to say: It's perfect.

Chapter 11 has to be one of the best "levels" I have ever played. Absolutely incredible. First of all...

I've farmed Silver Knights for 2 hours with Rusty Gold Coin and Avarice. 30-45 seconds per run, i.e. two Silver Knights. Result: One covenant item. Not sure if the increase in item discovery helped...

You need to be at max covenant level for some covenants to get certain items (not sure which exactly but there are several sorceries/miracles to get). Wish I had looked this up earlier because I can't seem to get summoned for some covenants (e.g. Blades of the Darkmoon) at my Soul Level. So I have to farm monsters for covenant items but the drop rates are horrible...

The Defiled Chalice is the toughest challenge in the game. I did all the chalice dungeons solo for my first playthrough and after that I helped a mate completing all of them. It was a great co-op experience. Maybe you'll have some luck summoning other Hunters? If you really don't enjoy them you should just stop...the defiled one will most likely test your patience.

The blind spell is your friend. Upgrade the shit out of it.

Woot? Awesomenauts Divinity: Original Sin Call of Duty Black Ops III Mercenary Kings Rocket League PvZ Garden Warfare 1 and 2 Borderlands I really don't think it's a thing of the past. Sure, it's not as abundant now as it was back then, but there are still games that offer this kind of multiplayer experience. : peace:

Yup, it's horrible...While doing the Sniper Rifle camo challenges I averaged a K/D of aprox 1.00 and very low score per minute so I often got into teams of quite good players. Now that I'm done with almost all camo challenges (except for the Knife; 100 kills to go and then those final few challenges...) I can use my favourite weapons again and play much better...and I get shitty teams a lot. When my mate and I are in the same team it's even worse as he is quite good, too (unless he does the sniper rifle camo challenges )...we can both end up with stats around 25/5 and still lose because the others die 20 times and kill 3. We also tried to play objective based game modes a couple of times...but when your team only goes for kills there's nothing you can do We returned to Team Deathmatch after 5 matches of Domination...

It can definitely wait. Uncharted 4 being the main reason for me too Not sure if I'm free over the weekend, though. I'll get back to you : peace:
