  1. I love it Really hope that Gwent standalone game will be announced at E3. I've reached Crow's Perch and started the Baron questline. But I'm off doing witcher contracts, side quests and looking for undiscovered locations. It's going to be a while until I'm back at the point where I stopped playing months ago (I think I did several quests in Novigrad).
  2. I don't know much about the Englad team, but what I've seen yesterday was a solid performance but too many missed chances. That equalizer is the perfect example of "that's football". The match against Wales will determine who'll end up in first place in the group. Wales and England are sure to proceed directly to the last 16. Anyway, tonight it's our first game. Ukraine, with all due respect, shouldn't be much trouble, but so far in the Euro the "smaller" teams have been really good. We'll see.
  3. Now my hype is at a maximum level. The next two days will be glorious. Taking a break from studying and inbetween the conferences it's time for EURO 2016 and The Witcher 3. : peace: Just a shame the the 5th game of the NBA finals starts at the same time as the Sony press conference. Edit: What I really don't want to see: Those game announcement already made taking too much time during the conferences...yes, show us a trailer, but that's it. Give us new stuff.
  4. Don't mind me, just came here to say: Gwent is love. Gwent is life.
  5. Great, now my PS4 is obsolete...oh, wait. Pretty happy that it won't be shown at E3. More room for games and VR
  6. Can't wait for tonight : peace: 3 hours before the kick off the lady and I will go to a restaurant which has Japanese/Chinese/Mongolian buffets. It's my all you can eat dream. (really hope the food there is decent...never been to that restaurant). And after that it's time to watch the opening match. I'm obviously all for Germany winning the tournament : peace: Pretty sure that we'll see no surprises at all. My preditctions for teams that will reach the final rounds: France - proceed to quarter finals - proceed to semifinals England - proceed to quarter finals Germany - proceed to quarter finals - proceed to semifinals - proceed to final - Champion Spain - proceed to quarter finals - proceed to semifinals - proceed to final Belgium - proceed to quarter finals Portugal - proceed to quarter finals - proceed to semifinals Switzerland - proceed to quarter finals Wales Poland Croatia Italy Austria - proceed to quarter finals Russia Turkey Ukraine Iceland
  7. Yeah, this is really nothing new. E3 is about announcing new stuff not ensuring it gets released within the next 12 months. Also: in before the "Look at Sony's and Microsoft's low numbers and look how awesome Nintendo's numbers are"-comments/arguments/just shut up. :p
  8. He said and played 4 hours straight... Finished White Orchard and managed to defeated the Nilfgaardian Nobleman in Vizima Castle in a round of Gwent. Fucking Christ that took a bit...I had a tactic down but I was unlucky so many times...eventually I managed to beat him and got a new leader, who doubles siege cards' attack power. With the starting deck, that is HUGE. Now that the game has opened up I definitely will have to reduce the session time otherwise I'll get burnt out again.

    Overwatch

While I don't want to encourage leaving games, here's a bit of useful information: Something to be considered if you recognize that your team members are in the process of creating a horrible hero composition and you don't want the XP penalty for leaving mid-game.
  10. If you think that Plague Inc Evolved as a versus mode: It doesn't. (sorry if I misread your post and you know it doesn't have versus mode).
  11. Never put points into Water 2 so my disease never spread to Greenland. A mistake I haven't made since Managed to beat all the plagues on normal, except for the Simian Flu which I haven't started, yet. The Necroa Virus is awesome. Unleashing Zombies was so much fun

    Overwatch

I've seen you play this yesterday and was looking forward to hearing your first impressions. Yes, Overwatch is overwhelming and it will stay that way for quite some time. Aprox. 80 games in and there are still moments when I'm thinking: "What the actual fuck, what should I do, PLEASE HELP!!!!!!" (most of the time I have already died at the "what should I do"-phase). If the lady doesn't come over I'll be online : peace: Edit: Played 4 matches today. #1 - Attacking side. The good ol' 3 Widowmaker + 2 Genji team. Always a joy to see. We lost. #2 - Defending side. "No support heroes, no tank heroes, too many of one hero" - I choose Zarya as a semi-counter to "No support, no tank". "Too many of one hero" remains...it was Hanzo. AWESOME. We lost. #3 - Defending side. 3 Reapers + a Reinhardt, a Junkrat and me as Lucio. The Reapers ran around by themselves and got killed a lot. INCREDIBLE. The other two and me tried to defend as best as we could. We lost. #4 - Defending side. 2 Tracers + 1 Reaper + 1 Hanzo playing Team Deathmatch. Loved it. Winston and me as Mercy obviously struggled to defend the payload. We lost. tl;dr People are fucking idiots.
  13. A huge RPG (setting doesn't really matter) with a Diablo-style loot system, deeper The Witcher 3-style combat and the scope of The Witcher 3. And what @Shorty said about Destiny. The game has so much potential...I hope the second installment will be everything I wanted from Destiny.
  14. 1 1/2 hours in. As per usual I told the main quest to fuck right off and went exploring I'm surprised I remember so much even though it's been a long time since I've played this...It's a good thing that I don't remember the details, so it's not boring Difficulty is set to Death March, of course. Will look up what trophies are missable and how to avoid missing out on them. Other than that I'll simply enjoy the game. Something I won't do: Play The Witcher 3 in long sessions. I feel that has burnt me out on it the last time.
  15. Well, exams are coming up in 5 weeks so I figured: The perfect time to finally give The Witcher 3 another go CD Projekt RED improved the frame rate a lot, didn't they? Impressive. And the menus are a lot smoother and clearer. : peace: Done the tutorial area and encountered the Griffin for the first time. Looking forward to spending more time with the game tomorrow

    Overwatch

I really hope Team Deathmatch will be in a future update and it turns out the way you (and I) want. I love Junkrat. I don't utilize that "throw grenades from a distance"-playstyle, though: I always jump into the fray, set traps and use mines either offensively or to move around. I know that feeling...normally I like quick playstyles, but with Tracer it hasn't clicked, yet.
  17. Not bad. I watched a video on Eurogamer which shows some gameplay, but it's not available anymore. It actually looked really good (yeah, yeah, lame downgrade joke, blah, blah), both from a graphics/design and gameplay standpoint. And the music is great @Hero\-of\-Time It's N.E.R.D., they are good :p
  18. I think it's because Nintendo put themselves in a position where they need to show something soon and E3 would be the perfect place. All the more reason why an NX announcement at E3 would be good.
  19. Not here in Germany. Whereas every other company you mentioned got/gets huge media coverage when they announce stuff. Of course I can't speak for every country, but I suspect it's similar in a lot.
  20. I'm pretty sure Nintendo no longer has the "appeal" to reach mainstream (i.e. not the "hardcore gamers") with an announcement outside of a big event like E3. (I don't know if "appeal" is the right word. I can't think of a better term because I lack the vocabulary)
  21. Shut up, @Glen\-i :p That would be amazing. I'd be surprised if Nintendo ever went down that road, though...
  22. @Fierce_LiNk you might want to take off your pants so you don't ruin them. Rumour: Gwent set to be a standalone game. Eurogamer.net

    Overwatch

People seem to understand the game a lot better. There's still the occasional "4 Bastions + 1 Genji + 1 other hero" team and some morons who think that it's Team Deathmatch, but overall it's a much more enjoyable experience. Zenyatta is a very cool support. In the right hands (in my hands :p) he can be devastating to the enemy team. Somehow I'm not very good with several offensive heroes, like Reaper and Tracer. Genji and Pharah I'm pretty good with, though. I avoid playing with McCree because he is OP and I hope the balance update will come soon.
  24. [tweet]740412510654898176[/tweet] At first I was afraid ,I was petrified it was just another "youth rebellion boring shit". Now I have hopes that this is an indication that the game/plot doesn't take itself too seriously which will in turn bring some wacky hackings with it.
