Played 5 holes in singleplayer and I now understand how to properly move the ball during Smashbreaker. L2 and R2 are as vital as Danger Time. It's a great game to just sit back, put on some music and enjoy for a while Can't wait to play this again with my girlfriend : peace:

Eurogamer.net YES!

I don't know. I don't leave games When I stop playing I usually wait until the XP screen and then close the game.

The game is really starting to frustrate me... I've lost 13 games in a row because my teams are too stupid to understand that our hero composition is moronic...and when I change to a more suitable hero another player changes to a hero that renders my choice obsolete. I swear to god...if I see one more team with 2 Genjis, one Widowmaker, one Hanzo and a Tracer ON THE DEFENDING SIDE I'll lose my shit. Then there's always one or two who rush forward trying to get a play of the game, completely ignoring the objective for the whole match. Losing a game when the opposing team is better is one thing, but losing the majority of the matches when the team I'm in is utterly stupid is annoying and frustrating. Edit: Something I will now keep doing that removes the frustration immediately: 1. Choose whatever hero would compliment the team. 2. See if people work as a team/if people ensure a good team composition. if they do: 3. Continue playing with that character/adjust to enemy team/create synergies. 4. Enjoy the game. if they don't: 3. Fuck it. 4. Switch to a different hero and practise. 5. Enjoy the game. Works like a charm. : peace: Really starting to like Genji and Zarya. Genji can be a great lone wolf. Sneak up and pick off enemies near death. His deflect ability is amazing. And Zarya is a beast...time your shields perfectly and your weapon power grows immensely. Then it's time to wreck some shit

One thing I hope the devs will improve: The camera. If you're too close to the wall it's a pain to aim. Aaaaaand something that would make this game even more awesome: Remove the loading times when you retry a level. It's not that bad but for a game like this a quick retry would be perfect. Edit: Not going to happen... [tweet]739112949487415296[/tweet] Anyway, will give the singleplayer a proper go tomorrow : peace:

Just found out that Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett have been working on a new Gorillaz album. OH MY FUCKING GOD. YES!!!!!!

Nevermind. @S\.C\.G The online match I've played...I wrecked them. I had double the score of what the guy in second place had And I've beat your score on the first single-player hole. : peace: The offline party mode trophy is easy. The lady and I have played this 4 hours last night...it was a lot of fun
-
It's turn based. Most of the destruction done form the first player remains for the second. This makes a strategic approach to levels surprisingly important. (Edit: That's the way it works with only one controller for both players...I assume it's the same if you have 2 or more controllers) So far the lady and I have only played co-op. And we love it. Are you playing on PS4? If so, could you leave me one really easy highscore to beat for the trophy? I'll do the same for you once I start the single player. We could also try to get the "win an online game" trophy. : peace: I haven't found a single online match, yet...I really hope the trophy can be boosted.

Played this for 3 hours straight. It's so much fun. Not for everyone, though.

In the last 24 hours I've been disconnected 3 times and left one match due to a never ending loading screen. And now I have a -75% XP penalty. Looked up how many matches I'll have this...looks like it depends on a certain "completed to not completed"-ratio which takes into account the last 20 matches. I have played 22 matches today without leaving/disconnecting once...the penalty is still there.. For all the stuff the game gets right there's a lot of things it just outright doesn't...

Quick update (in case it helps): Yesterday I was logged in for a couple of minutes without any problems. Then, when I tried to post, I had to log in again. And today it's even worse...whenever I type I apparently get logged out. When I press "Submit Reply" I have to log in.

Ready at Dawn's (The Order: 1886) new game: Eurogamer.net Well, that's me sold Coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Soooo, Knack is currently on sale for 6€ on the PSN store. Kinda tempted, it's supposed to be bad but I always wanted to give it a go. Retail copies still cost around 25€ over here and reselling it is near impossible. I might cave in and buy this from the PSN store.

Sorry for the doublepost. I've finished The Talos Principle. Well, finished as in: Completed two story paths/endings. There might be one more. Now all that's left for me is finding the remaining collectibles and complete the remaining "optional" puzzles - which I assume will be difficult - in order to get that possible third ending. I have to say that I enjoyed this game much more than Portal and Portal 2. I found both the puzzles and the narrative/story to be better. A lot better. The themes are right up my alley. I often think about certain theories/ideas/thought experiments that were used in The Talos Principle myself. And those puzzles...I'll say it again: They sometimes made me feel like a moron and sometimes they made me think of myself as the most intelligent person that has ever existed And I haven't even attempted the most difficult ones... Highly recommended. : peace: Edit: Played the first mission of Invisible, Inc. on PS4. For a turn-based strategy game that was intense...I made a couple of mistakes, mainly because I was getting to know the basics of the gameplay, and shit got real Additional guards arrived, enemies patrolled the area...I had to adjust quickly. It worked out. I managed to complete the mission with the highest enemy security level (trophy! ) but wasn't able to open all safes

Roadhog. Chain Hook, shoot, dead (I think one shot is enough). Other than that, keep your distance. He's only good close range. I wanted to play this today, but I couldn't stop playing The Talos Principle

It's on sale. 13€ on the PSN store. Couldn't resist

Now I know why everyone wants to play Widowmaker...skip to 9:13 to see what I'm talking about. Combining the low tick rate and lag compensation makes for some horrible situations in-game. Blizzard have yet to comment on the tick rate issue. People assume that they will improve the netcode because Blizzard said they want to push Overwatch into esports, but custom games have a higher tick rate and these will be used in esport matches so I'm pretty sure the casual players will be shafted... Time will tell, I guess.

I have started to play Overwatch. Great fun, but still frustrating at times. More importantly: The Talos Principle. My goodness, this game is awesome The puzzles are ingenious. They make me feel like a moron and like I'm the smartest person in existence at the same time. I'm especially in love with the "story" - or rather the themes of the game which are AI, meaning of life and philosophy in general. Think I'm about 2/3 done with the main path, but I'm pretty sure there are a lot of secret areas to be found. : peace:

Lost more than half of the matches I've played and I have to say...people are idiots. Why on earth does my team need THREE Widowmakers? Why does my team need TWO Meis? Why am I the only one who plays support/tank? Why does everybody go for kills in order to get the play of the game reel? Why the fuck does Tracer run into 5 enemies just to get slaughtered in literally 1 second? Why play Reinhardt when you don't use his shield? I get that the game is new...but when I play with people who are level 50+ (great matchmaking, btw...I'm level 8) I expect some understanding of the game. Still, it's good fun and refreshing to not see a scoreboard, just your own stats. I do think, however, that the play of the game ruins some matches...Blizzard intends to improve that (i.e. make not only multikills viable) and I hope that this will change things.

Worst month for me in ages... Already played Gone Home (it's awesome, by the way) and God of War. The rest doesn't interest me at all...
