I'm sorry, but this has to be one of the stupidest thing I've read on these forums...
-
Ah, I forgot those guidelines. My short-term memory isn't up to speed today My worries aren't as big now.
-
I could see eSports just going with the newest consoles for tournaments etc. But I see your point.
-
You know what? Unless Nintendo provide a great launch, new adopters will probably tend towards buying the new PS4...
-
Let's say I play a multiplayer game at 30 fps on my base PS4, but it can run at 60 fps on the new one...if it's a shooter like CoD this would be a huge difference. Not saying I'm angry at the possibility but I am worried.
-
Well...the console is almost 2 1/2 years old now. You having bought it nine months ago isn't a very good argument here. I think that expectation needs to go. That's not how it works anymore... Not saying I'm all for it, but it has become reality. We don't know how much better the new PS4 will be. Pretty sure it's not going to be far superior.
-
God of War will very likely be an exclusive. I've just mentioned exclusives because I really don't want to do PC only because I love PlayStation exclusives. But if my worries will become reality I'd have a big dilemma on my hands
-
Games. What if the next God of War runs 30fps on the standard PS4 but 60fps on the newer one? Stuff like this would annoy me. Anyway, I'll wait and see what this is all about. My worries will remain until I know more, though.

Woke up at 5 in the morning with stomach cramps, decided to take a pill, threw up 30 minutes later, haven't slept since... I probably won't go to work today...
-
It's not and I won't buy it (unless there will be a trade-in-program like I mentioned). It would just make me wary of future console purchases. If what I worry turns out to be the reality I'll probably go PC only in the future. It matters to me for the reason I said: I'd feel I miss out, especially with awesome exclusives.
-
Well, of course it's my decision I know that it wouldn't change the experience that I have but I would know there's a better experience out there. I don't feel the need to upgrade. It would just be a matter of - for example - "I could play the game at 30fps/an unstable 'between 10 and 30 framerate' or at constant 30fps/60fps...well, I'd much rather have the latter".
-
Difference would be that I knew there is a better experience out there and I'd much rather have the this.
-
I'm sorry but this... ...and this... ...would be really shitty. It wouldn't split the userbase like exclusive games but it would make me feel like I'd miss out on something. If this upgraded PS4 is true Sony better make sure there is a reasonable trade-in-program, i.e. send in PS4, pay 50€ and get the upgraded one... Still worried I'd like an official announcement now, Sony

Now I know your true self. pussy :p

This is the perfect game to just sit back, enjoy voice chat with a mate and play match after match : peace: Already played this for more than 150 hours... Pre-ordered the next DLC. The new maps look amazing Even if I end up paying 100€ for the complete package (main game + all DLC's), considering the time I've spent and will spend it's well worth the money. Not bad for a boring AAA-brown-generic-FPS :p Edit: The maps are awesome. : peace:

Levelling up is for pussies :p If you don't want to complete the whole game three times for the Platinum you should check the interwebs for "cheating" the ending trophies if that's still possible...haven't looked it up since I used the "easy way out" aaaages ago Proper wife-material there. Eenuh, not the Cleric Beast. You should close the dea...oh wait.

I've started Stories: The Path of Destinies. Finished the prologue and chapter 1. As I've mentioned in the PS4 thread I didn't know anything about the game. So far it seems to be a game about choices (which probably won't determine the outcome of the game but rather what path you take or areas you visit). The game has an isometric view and a beautiful art style. It's narrated by one guy. He does a good job. There's combat which is a simplified Assassin's Creed-system. I like it, especially the counter. In Stories: The Path of Destinies you have to aim at the enemy who's about to attack (an "!" appears over it) and then press square. It's a bit more engaging than pressing only one button like in AC. A skill tree, several weapons to craft (there are 4, not sure if there will be more) and gems to unlock several stat bonuses make the RPG freak in me happy So far it's not that bad. The humour is sometimes a bit forced but other than that I'm enjoying it
-
Nope, just your remark about the 3DS. By the way...that gif was a joke...
-
I bought Stories: The Path of Destinies yesterday. I don't know anything about the game except that trailer thumbnail: Haven't even watched the trailer Will give first impressions later today (assuming I'll play this today).

@Hero\-of\-Time I took care of it for you :p

Thanks @Mr\-Paul: peace: I haven't run in a while but I think that the couch to 5k program won't do me any good. I think I'm able to run 5k without a break. Probably not as quickly as a year ago, though. I'd love to train for speed and distance, so I guess an interval run once per week combined with one main/long run and maybe one short run could work. I have done interval runs a couple of months ago (10 min warm-up, then alernate between 15 seconds almost sprint and 30 seconds almost walking for 8 sets, 5 minutes a very slow jog and then walk the way home) so I think I'll try this routine. Ultimately my main goal is losing weight (or rather fat) and gaining stamina (with the recent diet change this may speed things up). I hope I'll be able to keep doing my home body-weight work out while doing the running routine.

Out on April 26th. It's a PSVita exclusive. Yes, that's right. A PS Vita exclusive!!! I can't wait for this. The art style makes me want to play Guacamelee! again. That reminds me, I need to get that Platinum
-
It appears you may know a bit about running. What's a good way to start building up stamina? Any particular running routines I should do? Or basically "just" run for a while?. I tried to google it but get so many different results...no idea what's "right" or "good" or "wrong".
