Played it for a bit: Great atmosphere, interesting setting, intriguing story, awesome music (albeit a bit LOUD ). But, the controls don't work. They are based on Dishonored 2 but in Prey these controls are way too clunky for combat. Because of that I won't get the game anytime soon.

Out of curiosity: Anybody here who would love to see Sony give a portable device another go? I'd kill for a Vita 2. It will never happen, though, especially not with the Switch out in the wild. No way another portable gaming device could compete with it. But goddammit, I would be all over it. The Vita is an amazing piece of hardware and after 5 years I still play it regularly. The OLED screen is a thing of beauty. It's a shame that Sony dropped the support early on but other devs (most importantly from the indie scene) have provided (continue to provide) some of the greatest gaming experiences I've had.

And it seems to work. Lots of positivity inside the community. There was a comment recently that Infinite Warfare was released at the wrong time and I agree. It's a good game; great campaign and solid multiplayer (which is now even better than at the start). Sadly, the concept and setting didn't resonate with the players. "Going back to CoD's roots" is the logical consequence. Looking forward to it Will pre-order the game after work.

And what do you know...same procedure as every year: The same old "generic world war shooter", "brown fps", "America again?" comments. It's Call of Duty. What do people expect? It's not a franchise that will ever be anything revolutionary. They are solid games. Infinite Warfare had an awesome campaign. Black Ops 3's campaign was - in my eyes - as good as it can get with FPS campaigns (until Titanfall 2 came out). And the multiplayer is always compelling. The hate bandwagon is strong with this one again And it'll sell millions

Looking good. Platforms haven't been officially announced, yet, but PS4, XB1 and PC are a given. I told myself I won't get it on realease, but it looks so good and Gamestop is doing a 9.99€ offer so...goodbye Fifa 17 and Yooka Laylee, hello CoD : peace: Will pre-order tomorrow. I've spent so much time with Black Ops 3, in recent months with Modern Warfare Remastered and hopefully Infinite Warfare again soon, so I need this. Enjoyed those three games' campaigns and multiplayer and since I prefer Boots on the Ground combat to the advanced movements (but not by much) this is a no brainer. I really hope the Infinite Warfare and MWR playerbase won't die out when WWII is released. Would love to alternate between those three shooters then

My first relationship was dominated by my ex's jealousy for 4 months (we had been together for 3 months before it started). It was harmless at first but turned into something similar my best mate experiences. However, I realized it (still too late, if I think about it now) and broke up with her after she accused me of meeting another woman when I was actually having a poker night with friends. I guess it's just a matter of how you deal with the situation. I tried to help him months ago. First by talking to him about it carefully and later by being blunt about it. Now I just hold myself back whenever he complains. They've been together for almost two years now and 80% of that time there have been constant fights initiated by her jealousy. Sure, there are times when everything's great, of course. But the way I (and some other close friends) see it, the bad things outweigh the good times. Maybe it's just "first relationship blindness", but I fear this will end in "first marriage blindness".

Need to get this off my chest: How on earth can my best mate still be in a relationship with his girlfriend. A couple of months ago I already posted how she manipulates him at every turn. Pretty sure I mentioned her jealousy, too...and it keeps getting worse. Case in point: My best mate had a cruciate ligament rupture and after the operation he obviously had to go to a physiotherapist. It turns out: it's a woman. Maybe you can guess where this is headed? Before and after every single appointment his girlfriend went on about how he would "flirt with the physiotherapist" and "enjoy when she has to touch him". I was at his place the evening after one of his appointments and I had to sit there by myself for 1 1/2 hours because she kept texting him this shit and he had to calm her down via a phone call. I mean, a little jealousy is fine...but this? This is borderline pathological. The thing is...this isn't a one-off event. It happens every other time when he does something without her (i.e. meet friends, work out, play online CoD with me; just to give some examples). And it bums him out, of course. Maybe I put too much into these situations, but I can't help it...

It's to develop the characters but I also read somewhere that the game's making fun of the usual anime tropes by constantly throwing them into our faces and exaggerating them a little. It does drag at times.

Here's my recommendation and I'm sure nobody could've guessed what it is: Steins;Gate Haven't seen the anime but it's supposed to be very close to the visual novel. It's only one season (24 episodes).

Nabbed the Platinum for Steins;Gate just now and will download Volume later. Anything I should prepare for trophy-wise? Have you ever played a visual novel/are you open to "playing" one? If you are, and if you aren't averse to some anime character tropes (which I assume you aren't after Persona 5 ) and time travel sci-fi you should definitely check out Steins;Gate. Everyone should.

Did you play more/finish it? I just got the Platinum and it was worth every penny. If I could afford it I'd buy the sequel now but sadly I have to wait until it's on sale for a tenner... Edit: Shit...I'll put my sig (trophy card) in spoilers as there is an image that could spoil something...hope you haven't seen it, yet.

Finished Steins;Gate on the Vita yesterday. It has one of the best stories I have ever experienced in any kind of media. I'm a little biased, of course, because I love the concept of time travel and everything it entails but still...the way the characters developed, the way the story progressed, the twists and turns. It blew me away. I still haven't reached the final ending (and nabbed the Platinum), though, because it requires specific actions at specific times. I'm currently following a guide. It's a little annoying, because while you can skip everything you've already read (which is basically everything I've seen) you have to pay attention so you don't miss those certain moments. I'm pretty sure that it'll be worth it, though. Can't wait to see what the "true ending" has in store. I already added that Platinum image down below because I can't be arsed to edit this later :p What to play next...I decided against buying Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 as I've read from several sources that it's a bug ridden glitchfest and to be honest, I don't want to wait until the devs patch everything. Maybe I'll give Volume another go. I remember @Hero\-of\-Time recommending it quite some time ago. Correct me if I'm wrong, though :p

Normally I don't like provocative celebrations but having seen the match yesterday I applaud Messi for doing that. He got attacked so many times. And not just to stop him from advancing but to actually hurt him. Marcelo has become one of my least favourite players now. He hit Messi in the face with his elbow and immediately looked to the assistant referee in the hopes he didn't see it. He knew what he did. What a fucking asshole. And don't get me started on Ramos' foul. He should be banned for the remainder of the season. He even said in an interview, and I quote, "The red card was excessive." Cunt. This just makes me furious. And boy oh boy did I enjoy that moment: Showing Real Madrid who's boss.
