It's a lot of fun Only played 1v1 matches and I can't stop Got all the trophies except one (win 50 online matches). Shame there is no Platinum, but the trophies are pretty easy aside from the one that requires you to win a match without losing a rally.

Free for PS+ this month or 14.99€/£11.99. I assume it'll be the same price on Steam. It's ready to download on the UK store. 2GB. I'll post some impressions later today. I've barely played the PC beta but Disc Jam has potential. It most likely needs a couple of updates before it can follow Rocket League's footsteps (it won't be quite as big but it can have a sizeable playerbase). Edit: Wow, could a mod/admin fix the title?

I'm not able to override them, yet.

And that dock really costs $90? Well, I hope the redesign has an HDMI output.

Fuck me, fighting two Saberthooths at the same time is no joke. I made a plan, placed some traps and tripwires and then...they wrecked my shit. My plan wasn't particularly good it seems. I think I'll try to isolate one Sabertooth now. Edit: Worked for like 3 seconds and then all hell broke loose again because I made a mistake My panic tripwire shooting worked, though...pure luck but I lived

Just fought a Corruptor for the main quest. Can't get over how beautiful this game looks and how unbelievably smooth it is. I am in awe. The fight was very fun. You really can't go all out with melee. I learned that the hard way @Daft I took your advice and bought the Ropecaster as soon as I had the materials for it. Came in very handy during that fight. I think the game will open up really soon and it's pretty exciting The story is also very intriguing. Edit: Damn that photo mode...

One thing that's slightly annoying: You have to have a quest marked as active in order to complete it...wanted to do the Trip Wire Tutorial (make 3 enemies trip) while doing a sidequest...but everytime an enemy fell into the trap it didn't count because I had the sidequest active and not the Tutorial mission.

Do it! Combat is really basic for me right now, since I don't have a lot of skills/options but it's so much fun. My first "real" fight went something like this (wish I could upload the video I made, but it doesn't work somehow): Shot the Blaze canister off a Strider Watchers noticed me; the remaining Striders ran away 3 Watchers attacked me Took down the first one with a shot into its eye Had to constantly evade their attacks Shot the second Watcher's body and then beat it to death And the third one took an arrow to its eye, as well

Indeed, Zelda on its own is quite beautiful but in comparison Horizon looks just so much better. And having fought 5 enemies at once just now without any kind of framerate drops is a much smoother experience. I actually expected it to be the other way round...Nintendo offering the smoother experience I really hope we'll see more games with the Decima engine. Speaking of battles: I just acquired one skill and it completely changed the way I approach battles. Slowing down time for a bit while aiming allows me to actually fight more than one enemy head-on.

Compared to this BotW looks bad...Horizon is absolutely beautiful and I wish Zelda was running on Decima. Can't believe how smooth it is, too...I'd call it an achievement when it comes to game engines and I have only played this for an hour now. Had to get out of the BotW mindset, i.e. stop thinking Horizon gives you the same amount of freedom in your traversal, especially vertical. It took me 2 minutes and now I'm in "Horizon-mode". : peace: Cranked up the difficulty to very hard and my god the combat gets intense...I died just now after I decided to take on a new enemy (forgot the name). Didn't check the surroundings and in turn didn't see that there were a lot more robots...won't make that mistake again Enemies hit hart on the highest difficulty so I will definitely pick my fights carefully until I get more upgrades. Can't wait for the game to really open up.

Back from GameStop. Holy shit, I got the last copy and only because one customer didn't pick up his/her pre-ordered one The shop assistant told me that I was very lucky...since release they got 4 shipments ranging from 25-40 copies and every single one has been sold out after 45 minutes max! Very excited to give it a go after I had launch.
-
Fuck me, that sounds incredible Will definitely turn up the difficulty, too. Really hope it's more difficult than Zelda. I'm getting really excited now I'll have today and tomorrow to play the whole day until I have to study again from Wednesday on, so I will definitely make the most of my freetime

I will hopefully pick this up in an hour. 10€ if I trade in Dark Soul III and The Witcher 3 : peace:

Eurogamer.net Solid start, but that was to be expected. The long run will be very interesting, especially with several reports about hardware issues... Edit: lol, I should read more than only the last post of a thread...

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild done. Good but I don't understand the insanely high praise. I might get Horizon Zero Dawn sometime this week. Or maybe I'll continue with God of War III. Didn't even choose my GOTM for February...only two games to choose from and it's an easy choice:

4 dungeons completed and 69 (hehe) Shrines done. Not sure if I'll want to do more before tackling the final area of the game... -

Yup, nothing to add. It's really not what I expected and I am very disappointed. I expected more from Nintendo... Really? I think it's dumb...having to wait 10 minutes after it "breaks" is annoying as hell. But at least it's not gone forever. -

So what are your final thoughts about those "dungeons"? I have one more left and don't expect much... And what do you think about the Master Sword's limitation? -

I must be alone with this opinion but, as good as this game can be, I wish this was a new IP from Nintendo. I don't really feel it as a Zelda game... -

I just wish some of the Shrines were more difficult or larger. Done 59 now and not sure if I've spent more than 3-5 minutes on any of them. With the disappointing dungeons I feel like maybe 20% of the Shrines should've been much larger. I did, however, like some of the puzzles. Unlocked two things which I don't want to spoil. Needless to say I was freaking excited when I got them but the excitement quickly turned to disappointment as there are limitations attached to them...I really don't like most of the limitations the game throws on you. -

I thought I was the only one...she just comes across as a whiny bitch who doesn't actually want to do any work. 11 hours for me today Have played this for 27 hours in total now. 50 Shrines done, one part of a major main quest completed, the second part almost finished and I've explored a little bit of everything. Still haven't really set foot on Death Mountain, but I've just gotten the equipment to make the climate in Hebra Mountains bearable so the volcano has to wait For all the things BotW does wrong or weird there is an equal amount of things it does right which results in a damn fine game. One thing I've come to hate: Upgrading stamina and travelling back to places I want to climb only for the weather to turn bad...every fucking time I reach these places it starts to rain and I can't climb to where I want to go. Hate that gameplay mechanic.
