  1. Wow, there's only one game I'm interested in. Mainly because I bought all the others already..... Volgarr the Viking for 2.99€. Bought and it is downloading. Will be my next game after Shadow of the Beast. Might be good to play in between Ni No Kuni II sessions
  2. Hyper Light Drifter is supposed to be tough as nails. So all you casual newbs should stay clear. Especially @Hero-of-Time. Aaaanyway. Nice to see more and more indies coming to the Switch, even though it's mostly older ones.
  3. He actually wrote that in his answer Jokingly, of course. ...
  4. Just read up about what Stronglift recommends. Always keep the weight but after failure rest for longer and try again. So all 5 sets have to be at the same weight. However, if you don't manage to do 5x5 for three workouts you should deload 10%.
  5. Bus drivers will go on strike tomorrow in my town. I don't have a bike/car/anything else, work is about 90 minutes away by foot and taxi is quite expensive...awesome. Just emailed my boss if I can take the day off. I have some overtime hours I could use for that. Really hope he says yes... Edit: Phew, I have tomorrow off. So no stress for me
  6. Feels like I'm beginning to stall again with Pendlay Rows and Shoulder Presses. I did manage to do 5x5 35kg Rows today, though. First time ever. Shoulder press I'm stuck at 30kg-32.5kg yet again. Would a 6th set with reduced weight (2.5kg less than what I'm supposed to lift) and AMRAP be useful or should I just stick with 5x5 (or less reps, depending on how it goes) and reduce weight accordingly until I manage to do all 5 sets?
  7. Every time I read about Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night (be it in the news or via eMails from the devs' kickstarter) I remember that I will get a digital copy when it's released. Really looking forward to it.
  8. After 12 months with a long hiatus, my mate and I finally finished Ghost Recon: Wildlands. What a ride. Many laughs have been had Got the Platinum, too. I hope there will be a sequel. It would need some improvements (less bugs, better vehicle controls, smaller map, more mission variety), though. First game that gets deleted from the single folder on my PS4 Ni No Kuni II will be added when I get it. Made some progress with Shadow of the Beast, as well. I've reached the second to last level. Still not sure if I'll go for the Platinum. I'd have to complete every level on the hardest difficulty again (among other trophies I'd have to get). Not sure if I want to, though. The game isn't really for me. I might just go for it while I wait for Ni No Kuni II on Friday.
  9. Only listened to the final verdict of the Easy Allies review. Kinda sad that the game is only around 30 hours long... Anyway, I'm off to pre-ordering it Edit: Aaaaand pre-ordered. Can't wait
  10. I was drunk on Saturday but too busy to post. And when I got home I immediately went to bed Maybe next Saturday I'll post something.
  11. Depending on whether I can trade in Overwatch and Madden 18 to get Ni No Kuni II for 10 bucks, I'll pre-order it tomorrow.
  12. Just got told that I made a big mistake at work last week. It's a little tedious to explain but trust me, it's quite the blunder. A collegue corrected it but there's still the problem that I sent original documents from students to one other student...that other student emailed us and said she knows each one of the others personally and is able to send them their documents...phew; what a conincidence. Speaking of coincidences. One document is a transcript from a very good friend of mine (if you follow the "good stuff thread"...I've talked about her in some of my recent posts). How her transcript was sent to our department (she studies in a different field) is a mystery. Until the whole thing is resolved I'm still a little on edge... Worked there for almost two years now, never made a mistake. But when I make one it's huge Edit: My boss just told me that it's not a big deal. He was surprised that it was me who made the mistake. Now I'm relaxed again
  13. Fuck man...looks like too much weight and no bracing...
  14. Exactly. I can see how keto is amazing for losing fat but it's not something I want to do right now. Getting stronger is now my main goal and I have to eat a lot more than I'm eating these days. Oh man, tomorrow I'll have my first pasta after one month without any. YES
  15. After about a month of keto I decided to stop. I already achieved my goal (reduce my cravings for junk food). I wanted to continue being on the diet but somehow, with the amount of sports I do these days, I just can't eat enough to keep my calorie intake high enough. During keto my appetite is always low. I've lost 5kg (so 3kg if you take away the water weight you lose) in 3 weeks and I didn't want to do that...I'm now 62kg at 170cm. I don't want to weigh any less. It's easier for me to monitor a high calorie intake if I eat carbs (i.e. pasta, rice, etc). I might just do low carb days when I'm not doing sports and see how that'll turn out. In other news: workout is going fine.I can increase the weight for squats and deadlifts quite easily still (at 45kg for both). Bench press might be difficult next time at 40kg. Haven't been able to do 5x5 Pendlay Rows with 35kg twice now. If I fail again I think I have to reduce the weight. Shoulder press will be at 32.5kg next...gonna be tough I like this workout. It's "simple" (i.e. not a lot of different exercises) but exhausting. Will probably switch things up and return to 1x5 deadlifts at a certain point, though.
  16. Indeed...but Dragon Ball will continue eventually. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
  17. Yeah, by me. So send me the game Ah well, I will eventually get this. Could be a nice Christmas game. I mean...it almost is Christmas time.
  18. Send me the game
  19. It is. I can't be arsed to create more than one folder, though I simply just delete a game from my PS4 when I complete it. Looking through the library I can easily remember which game I've finished or not.
  20. I might get this on PS4. Would be the first Sonic game I've ever played. ...
  21. I think I'm beginning to understand. I do struggle with the mechanics, though. It's not that they are inherently bad, it's just that I'm not used to them. It's still a fun game.
  22. Champions League Quarterfinals: FC Barcelona - AS Roma FC Sevilla - Bayern Munich Juventus Turin - Real Madrid FC Liverpool - Manchester City "Easy" opponents for Barca and us (Bayern), but both should be wary, of course. Juve against Madrid and Liverpool against City should be great matches.
  23. Decided to take a more "organzied" approach to my gaming to get out of the rut. I stopped playing everything I had started in the past few weeks. Now I'm utilizing the folders on PS4 for the very first time Created only one folder which I will fill with games I am currently playing. Aside from Ghost Recon: Wildlands (which my mate and I should finish soon) there's now only CoD: WWII and Shadow of the Beast in the folder. A game will only be removed when it's finished (with or without Platinum) and only then will a new game be added/started. Reading this again...sounds stupid but organizing things in my life these past few weeks helped me quite a bit so maybe this will help with my biggest hobby, too Edit: Speaking of Shadow of the Beast...I didn't understand it. The combat, that is...it seems there's some deep mechanics behind it to increase the score and not fuck up but from what I've played yesterday...I didn't get it Maybe later today the mechanics will make more sense.
  24. Ah man, didn't realize it was out today. Wish I could afford it... Maybe in April. In the meantime: A big ol' "I hate you" to all of you who are playing this
  25. That was awesome! "Crap like this...exactly why I hate portals"
