  1. As mentioned in the bad stuff thread: I lost my phone (for a couple of hours) and reserved a new one at a store. Even though I got my old phone back again (it was under a swing buried in the sand on a playground...yes, I was drunk and wanted to swing for a bit during the night ) I decided to get a new one. Wanted to do it anyway around Chrimstas because my old phone has so much bloatware it slowed down to a crawl after 4 years. Had a moto g4 (or g5, can't remember) back in the day and was very happy with it. The g7 seems to be a great adition to that product line, too. And it's relatively cheap
  2. It works for Pokémon, so... Anyway, as long as I can still smash a bike into someone's face, I'll be happy.
  3. As long as I can still smash a bike into someone's face, I'll be happy. Edit: well this is dumb...wanted to edit but made a second post. Sorry.
  4. I've been looking forward to this movie since I first heard that Joaquin Phoenix will play Joker. Can't wait!
  5. Found it. I'll still buy the new phone that I reserved at the store
  6. Urgh. Lost my phone last night. First time I've ever lost one. Tried calling it, nobody picks up, so I guess that's that. Well, going to get a new one later today Edit: Just tried the "Find my device" service from google. It shows my phone is not far away. Brb
  7. Alright Slay the Spire...I hate you...and I love you. So much. Haven't beaten the second Act, yet. And 95% of it was my fault because I'm an idiot. The other 5%...RNG, but that's what happens in a game like this I'm only 3 hours in but it could very well replace The Binding of Isaac as best rogue-like I've played.
  8. How many hours did it take you? And is there only one difficulty?
  9. Had some time and continued my run from last night (the fact that you can save mid-run is awesome). I died halfway through act 2 because I'm dumb and can't add 3 single digit numbers correctly. Anyway, that's it for today. Tune in next week to "Drahkon's maths for idiots".
  10. Completely understandable. I wish I could play today, but I'm spending time with friends all day...urgh. Nah, I like 'em.
  11. Was able to buy Slay the Spire 30 minutes ago. I knew what I was getting into because I've seen a lot of Northernlion's videos but man...didn't expect that playing it myself would be immediately addictive I will spend many hours on this game. A rogue-like deck-builder which requires you to do maths and keep in mind all the little nuances that can happen in a battle...it's a dream come true. Also bought Matterfall as it's only 6€ right now. It's a Housemarque game, so I'm probably going to like it. That reminds me...I still need to get Nex Machina's Platinum...maybe around Christmas.
  12. Just send it in for repairs, right?
  13. Wow. Looks awful. Unacceptable, really.
  14. Maybe back in the day it would've been the same for me. The gameplay didn't age well, though. It feels quite clunky at times. Shooters these days play much more smoothly. I'd love to see a Bulletstorm sequel with some updated mechanics.
  15. Bulletstorm is done. 5/10. The skillshot system is pretty cool, but once you've done a skillshot it loses its thrill Still, a solid shooter. Nothing more, nothing less. Now...what to play until I will buy Slay the Spire on Saturday. It's on sale for 18€ and I'll be able to get 20€ PSN credit for 11€ with some ebay vouchers I got Until then I don't wanna start a new game. Maybe I'll just dabble with No Man's Sky a bit as it's gotten a huuuuge update.
  16. Well, I did spent a few hours at the Mahjong parlor because I really like that game, even though I have no fucking idea how to properly play But yes, the story was my main focus. And I have to say: both 0 and Kiwami had great stories and incredible characters.
  17. Thank God for that physical collection.
  18. A mate convinced me to buy Diablo 3 again. Well worth the 20 bucks. Already played through the story with the Necromancer and it was still so much fun, even though I've put it a tremendous amount of hours back in the day. My mate and I will start playing together when the new season arrives next weekend That makes 15 games finished this year, so far. Now I'm going back to Bulletstorm. This is most likely going to be a 6-7/10 for me. Nothing great but a solid, mindless shooter.
  19. Why did it have to be September? I'd like to save up some money until mid-October Well...we'll see how that goes
  20. Yes. Noticable framerate improvements on optimized games.
  21. Yeah, I had two massive sessions of about 7 hours each. Those certainly helped Started playing Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition yesterday. I've started working on my backlog and now that I don't really care much for getting the Platinum for the majority of my games it's easier to just breeze through the story You can definitely see and feel Bulletstorm's age. It doesn't play particularly great but the first hour has been fun, nonetheless. Looks like some mindless shooting and violence which will definitely turn me into a school shooter if you believe current news. But sometimes I enjoy shooting my way through hords of enemies...in games. Speaking of backlog: I downloaded an app (this one) which let's you create lists for: your backlog games you're currently playing and completed games Great to have an app at the ready to track games. Should've started at the start of the year, but oh well...maybe I'll add games that I've written about in this thread to the app. Edit: Added all the games I've finished: So far I have completed 14 games this year. Not bad considering the two slumps I've been in.
