Games for Ocotber (just revealed in State of Play): MLB:The Show 19 The Last of Us Remastered Always been interested in MLB, so this is great for me The Last of Us Remastered was a given at one point. It's coming sooner than expected, to be honest. Perfect time to play it again

I don't recall asking you, though. Just kidding. Charge Blade was the weapon I used during my first 2 hours. It was quite possibly the worst choice because I was overwhelmed Might get back to that weapon at some point, though. Right now the Heavy Bowgun is growing on me. I was a little confused with the fact that you can't deal a lot of damage from a distance, but then I realized: With the way the battle system works, being able to deal full damage from far away would be OP. It's kind of obvious, really Love the different choices in ammo you get. Playing with the Heavy Bowgun changes battles completely. It was quite surprising. I guess most weapons play very differently from each other? Anyway, I'm farming Lunastra to craft the weapon variant I want. I don't really understand the Heavy Bowgun's stats and what synergises with it, but that's the beauty of this game: It's awesome to try and find out

That music Awesome. Character designs are incredible. It really does look good, doesn't it
-
I'm actually heavily in favour of giving the Heavy Bowgun a chance. The Insect Glaive was a pretty cool starting weapon for me, but I've had my close quarters fix and now I'm ready to fight from a distance
-
So...that Behemoth. That is one bad ass monster Kicks the crap out of me everytime. Anyway, after using the Insect Glaive for my now almost 50 hours of playtime I want to switch to something else. Either Dual Blades or Heavy Bowgun. Haven't quite decided, yet.

I know I'm pretty much talking to myself in here but I just have to gush Reached HR35, a couple more new quests opened up, which I didn't really expect. Also found a weird material (Streamstone) which I have no idea how to use Guess there's still a lot to explore The "cameo-quests" are also available now. Seeing Geralt in the New World was weird Haven't done any of those quests, though. Been doing a lot of SOS requests and it's so much fun teaming up with other Hunters. It's incredible how in sync people can get in a fight with pretty much no communication. So much fun. Decided to not buy Iceborne right now because I'll be busy with the base game for a while and I don't want new content to distract me from the shit ton of stuff that I have to complete. Oh, and FUCK YOU, Nergigante. Why won't you give me the final gem that I need to complete the armor set

I still can't get over the artstyle The melancholy from the original is completely lost -

And yet they keep getting showered with praise while other devs get slaughtered when performance isn't spot on. -
After 31 hours the credits roll. What a game. Except for one or two quests I was having fun the entire time. Now...I probably won't play this for a while since I want to focus on Tales of Berseria but sometime in the not so far away future I will buy Iceborne and keep chugging away at quests from the base game and the expansion Edit: Hahahaha, well that was a fucking lie Lots of new quests opened up. Guess I'll keep playing this then...
-
Wouldn't want it any other way It is indeed. I'm farming Nergigante right now to upgrade my weapon. Need its tail just one more time. I'm really tempted to get Iceborne as soon as I'm done with the "story" of the base game.

Is there anything special you need to do in order to get a monster's gem or is it simply praying to RNGesus and hoping for a drop? Edit: Nevermind. Just slayed Kushala Daora and got its gem by carving I guess, it's RNG then.

24h mark reached. High rank hunts are now available to me and so is better equipment. I feel like the game has now truly opened up Didn't enjoy the quests involving the Elder Dragon, I have to say...they were quite boring, to be honest. They don't take anything away from the game's awesomeness, though. It's unbelievable how much there is to do and see. There are so many details, it's astounding. The devs really put in a lot of work. And it shows. You can feel the passion that has been put in by everyone who worked on Monster Hunter World. It's amazing

[via pushsquare.com] Insane numbers. But apparently deserved.

Haven't played Slay the Spire since Tuesday because Monster Hunter World and Tales of Berseria keep me occupied MHW...what a game. Can't believe I missed out on it for so long. Tales of Berseria seems good so far. Only 3 hours in but I like what I've seen. Still don't entirely get the battle system but I guess I'll get there eventually. It's great to finally play a Tales game agian @Hero-of-Time I've seen you already got the Platinum for Final Fantasy VIII (no idea why it showed up on my "news feed" on PSN, though). Would you recommend the re-release? I enjoyed it back in the day but never put enough time into completing it 100%.
-
Yeah...I need this now.
-
I've reached HR5 in 10 hours of playtime in a week. Looks like it's a nope from me Adding to that, I don't even own Iceborne.
-
Urgh, feel like I have to throw up but it just isn't coming out. Hope it's not a stomach bug...hopefully it's "just" because I ate way to little yesterday.
-
You should, however, keep in mind that Slay the Spire has RNG elements in place. It's currently on sale for 10€. I've been juggling Monster Hunter World and Sekiro for the past few days. I'm not sure if I enjoy Sekrio, though, and I've always been interested in Tales of Berseria. Think it's time to put Sekiro away and replace it with my first Tales game since Tales of Vesperia back in 2009 (fuck me, that's 10 years ago...).

Well...let's see how it'll turn out eventually. I've decided to take a break and get on with the run later tonight or tomorrow. Edit: It went really well... I died...didn't get close to the end But hey, I unlocked everything with the third character. Which means: It's back to the Ironclad and truly finish the game with him. Edit: Reached...

Been watching the second season of Final Space these past few days. Think I'm about halfway through. The overarching plot is a little all over the place, but the entire series is still great fun And mooncake is such a cutie.

Quite the strong deck. Charge Battery is amazing. So is Echo Form, if you can make it work. Interesting decision to replace the starting relic with a random boss relic. Worked out great for you, though. Black Star right at the start is insane They sure are. Can't wait I've been following the reddit to see how people get along with her.
-
Can I just say: I'm impressed with how polished this game is. So many little details, so many things to do...it's insane. Still don't understand a few things. For example: My kinsect can do some poison thingy, which I can then hit to release poison. However, monsters don't get poisoned? Am I doing it wrong? Also: Is it necessary to switch weapons for different monsters? Do I need to get used to different types of weapons in order to deal different types of damage (e.g. blunt, etc.)? Or can I pretty much just use one weapon throughout the game with no problems?

Quadruple post? Yes, yes it is. You guessed it...it's about Slay the Spire. I did it Beat the game with the third character. Had an amazing deck which essentially let me have enough block to sustain any hit from anyone if battles lasted at least 2-3, which they always do Now to unlock something that I have no idea how to unlock...I assume this will take me at least another 27 hours of play time. And once I've unlocked and beaten this, whatever it is, it's time to do "ascensions". Each ascension changes one thing about a run (e.g. normal enemies are more deadly). Oh boy...getting the Platinum will be tough
