  1. Is there a better way in one of the two dungeons to grind exp as opposed to the vagabond in the sewers? And is there anything worthwhile to get in the first dungeon that could help with the second?
  2. Good to hear. It's definitely necessary. A game like this, with a "realistic" world and characters needs VA and animations that are spot on. Lackluster lipsyncing kinda works in games with art styles like Dragon Quest, but even there a little more effort would be nice Anyways, didn't have much time to grind today after finishing the story. Two characters are at level 99, the other two not far off. For the post-game dungeons I think I'll go with Ichiban as Hero, Nanban as Homeless Guy, ... Obviously those jobs I need to max out. First, I'll max out jobs that give HP, though. Gonna be a loooooong grind.
  3. Have you played with English VA? If so, is the facial animation as high quality as it is with Japanese VA? There is so much care put into it, it's incredible. And the voice actors are amazing. I don't speak Japanese but the combination of great performance and awesome facial animations manages to convey all emotions quite impressively.
  4. Played it already and got the Platinum which is why I don't wanna mess with the votes
  5. Credits are rolling. That is all... Edit: And now I've watched the post credit scenes. What a powerful conclusion...chapter 15 was sooooo good. As was the entire story. Very well written with characters that left me emotionally invested in them like only a few games have in the past.
  6. Maybe I'll unhate you after you've played it (unhate seems to actually be a real word...)
  7. I hate you. PLAY IT!
  8. Not watching it (I did take a peak for a few seconds, though). Want to go in with as little knowledge of the world/enemies/lore as possible. I'm stupidly excited for this one.
  9. Same here. Fell out of love with the "actual" Pokémon games ages ago, but New Pokémon Snap tickles my fancy I'll probably not know 80% of the Pokémon you can find, though Here's hoping this'll somehow turn the next "actual" game into an open world one
  10. That was the plan. With the roadmap being laid out this plan has been postponed to late 2021, though, as I wanted to wait for the next current-gen version. A friend of mine has been playing the PS4 Pro version since launch and he said it's been getting better with each patch and a couple of days ago he told me it's fine. He does have low standards, though, so...
  11. Oh well, guess I'll just have to kill a few more vagabonds after I'm done with the story then
  12. Well, I did massacre the enemies in the dungeon at level 67 But it's gonna be much more fun now Would you say I need to level up more jobs to get permanent stat bonuses? I have all jobs at level 15 for my main party and each main job now at around 50. Will this be enough for the true final dungeon?
  13. I don't see the issue. This would be hilarious/awesome in first person
  14. Will be interesting to see if they can pull that off, if they go for it. They definitely got first person shooting right, maybe they can make it work with Indy.
  15. You have no idea about my situation right now so I think those who have a problem with me selling games or getting a refund for one should shut the fuck up.
  16. In order to balance out @RedShell's ungrindiness (yes, that's a word) I put in a session tonight. Ichiban is now at level 98 (20k exp away from 99), the rest either 86 or 87. 2x exp gain for Ichiban helped quite a bit it seems Anyway, gonna give the final dungeon another go sometime soon and hope the game won't crash again
  17. @Hero-of-Time Care to chime in?
  18. Grind or ban.
  19. Or maybe there are reasons/situations why someone could use/need some extra money right now.
  20. Fair enough. I'm optimistic that I won't have to eat a plate of brussel sprouts. This actually does align with my expectations
  21. Friendly advice: Expect this game to drop mid/late 2022 I'll eat a plate of brussel sprouts if it releases this year.
  22. Just got my physical copy refunded. CD PROJEKT S.A. sent me the money via PayPal. Had to fill out a couple forms over the last 4 weeks, but the money is here. I thought I had to send them my copy, though. Let's see if I get another email requesting me to do exactly that. I wouldn't mind. Dealing with the refund process was easy and without any hassle, so props to them for that. Here's hoping they can turn the game around and it'll eventually be what the devs intended it to be.
  23. YES PLEASE!
  24. I've come very close to selling my Switch at the end of 2020. I got my money's worth out of the device in about 6 months after I caught up with the exclusives that interested me and then...nothing. The console needs exclusives coming out to make me keep mine. The endless stream of ports doesn't help. Metroid Prime 4 is in limbo, BotW 2 seems quite a bit away, too. Pretty much the only reason why I kept the console: Indies...or rather, roguelites. Being able to play them in handheld mode is awesome. Put on a podcast, some football, music and just dive into a roguelite. Love it. (the possibility of a Switch Pro also helps...having the current model to trade in is quite nice; then again...I have no interest in a new model if there's fuck all to play...)
