  1. 1. It's on the PS3. 2. It isn't a run and gun game. :p
  2. Get out the closet sunshine.
  3. Not a clue what you're on about tbh :p. Onto R2 now and I'd say it's a good series. I understand the Death Note comparison though, since the main character pretty much has the intelligent student persona and has big plans for the world, but that's where the similarity ends. Unlike Light, Lelouch isn't so clear cut in his personality (just going at justice like a mad townsperson with a pitchfork), which is why I kind of like the series. The mood of the show seems to change every few episodes, and things happen that I honestly couldn't predict. Sure the characters are all awfully drawn (some sort of efeminate style) but I still think it's a pretty good series.
  4. I'll third it. Much going on there without the effort of it being London. :p
  5. Do you reckon they could pull off PS1 style Final Fantasy games on the DS, that is walking around on pre-drawn backgrounds? I think that would work well since it could go from one screen to the next and it wouldn't look like sort of outdated 3D. Final Fantasy IX had some of the best looking screens in any PS1 game.
  6. I spotted Jay in a clearing and he waved at me. I thought "that's it" and sprinted at him, taking a different path to cut him off. Chased him and he fell over! Was pretty funny but harsh. :p Shorty though; when I was sneaking up on the base he had mastery of hawk eye. Not even human. You basically left the park. XD
  7. Why, what did you expect me to look like?
  8. The meet was great...new faces, frisbeeing, jokes and some crazy version of tag rolled into one session. I only took a couple of photos in the end since everyone was taking loads and I'm sure they'll be uploaded here later. :p (I didn't drink though) Moogle throwing the frisbee I believe. :p
  9. Except it isn't wrong. End of discussion.
  10. For ****'s, learn to accept that a subjective rating of something cannot be fact all the time, you are beginning to sound like a very dreary broken record. Can infractions be handed out for causing the same pointless argument again and again and again, because he really would deserve a few. If you want to be considered a smart lad then differentiate between situations. On the one hand you have people discriminating due to ignorance and on the other hand you have people rating media that everyone rates differently and can never be 'definitely correct'. Even if more people say they prefer something that doesn't mean jack. When people are rating things 8/10 the quality of the film does not decide their rating completely. This is why you are completely wrong in saying their opinion is 'factually incorrect'. Every time you see someone's rating as something quite good for a film you deem to be 'factually inferior in quality', they aren't just judging the quality of the directing or film. They might not like the plot or the fact that something is of lesser quality (e.g. the budget-style film Billy Elliot) but still prefer it to something that is in your books 'factually superior in quality'. So please be quiet. It's rather annoying.
  11. Pre-ordered it, thanks for the tip. Knew it would be GAME.
  12. What the fuck is going on there? Jesus Christ.
  13. I would have Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise, but the guy on Amazon marketplace sent me Viva Pinata 1 instead. He surely must have thought it was odd that I paid him £25 when he sent me a game worth little more than a fiver these days. God damn the idiocy!
  14. I am definitely coming, should be at the train station by 20 to 12.
  15. It usually takes me a while to get to sleep, unless I'm really tired. I sort of shake off lack of sleep quite easily, since uni gets you used to having little sleep (especially during exam periods).
  16. Sounds a bit made up to me...more like not wanting to admit that there was a problem with it. :p Never cheated on it though.
  17. I agree with you. Shower gel...let's face it, doesn't need much to it. Toothpaste, though, is pretty important in preventing plaque buildup so that your teeth don't rot. Something a bit silly is people buying branded medicine. A documentary looked into this, and with some things like paracetamol the non-branded versions were precisely the same as the branded, except cheaper, and possibly not coloured.
  18. The atoms and molecules that make us up will most likely form a being again - and whatever cells make us view the world (consciousness) will probably be under our control once again. Meaning we'll probably be 'alive' again in a sense. Eventually. Babies are formed from 2 cells, with the entire body being derived from already existing components on Earth.
  19. I am actually pretty sure we will all be organisms again in the future, derived from the planet. Sorry, just throwing this whole feedback advice out the window there. :p
  20. Yeh I imagine now they are okay, but in the past when I was clueless they pawned me off with some integrated graphics chip. :p MESH also let you customise it, might be worth a look (may be cheaper...or not). 8GB RAM, 500GB HDD, geforce 9600GT, 22" Widescreen, Q6660 2.4GHz quad core processor, Vista 64-bit, all the trimmings like mouse, keyboard etc: for £749. Just saw that offer and thought it seemed pretty good, not sure if it's any use to you.
  21. I use a DVI -> HDMI cable and the quality is very good when displaying PC on the HDTV. Here's the lead I bought: link.
  22. He wore the top for a week after buying it the other day? The dirty bastard.
  23. Nice one...I did Cell Biology at uni, and have always loved biology. DNA, sex and bacteria...what's not to love. To defend bacteria, they do make exceedingly good yoghurt.
