Ha ha yeah, most online stores send it to reach people a day early. What toolbags. You should walk past their tents with the game and say 'sup bitches?'. Mine was dispatched today by GAME at 6:34AM.

Molyneux wants to bring together core and casual
Sheikah replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
They should NEVER think about bringing together the core and casual, so what an ass he is for saying this. Making a hardcore game have casual elements is exactly what people who consider themselves hardcore hate so much. And casual gamers really only care about playing the odd game sports/brain training related (or something else quite simple). 'Hardcore' gamers can like more casual games as standalone casual games, but they tend to dislike previously hardcore series being turned casual. There's no need to bring them together, it's pointless. It's like one of those things that has no real reason for happening. -
You'll make loads even with fees, and I saw the last few all go for over £85.

Jonnasday is here! Now with more shaven wolves!
Sheikah replied to Hellfire's topic in General Chit Chat
Get out. And happy birthday. -
Who will play with me on co-op when this game hits? I'm willing to go hardc0re.
-
Sell, definitely, you'll get maybe £85 for it, then buy the version when it comes out for about £37.
-
I have to say, I find it very unlikely they are genuine for that price since they would be selling real ones at a loss or barely scraping a profit. The counterfeits are kind of hard to tell apparently.

Are you applying for a position with the Daily Mail?

They both suck. Pay money to read reviews later than on the net? They can fuck off!

You only need so much proof before something is certain fact. Results that can always be obtained after independent repeats and a plethora of evidence all combines to form a certain fact. This 'how do we know' line of thinking rests on the concept that at the end of everything, we might just be brains in jars and nothing in this universe that we know actually exists. But that argument is so ridiculous that I won't even touch on it. For instance, you could ask the question - "Does your standard woman have the sex chromosomes XX or XY?" You could examine the DNA of 10 million average women with no genetic problems and they'd all have XX. You can call it certain fact that women have XX and not XY.

It is ignorance because people choose to keep questioning if something exists, rather than putting effort into finding out whether it exists or not. With the satellite debate, we all know they exist and could even prove it (I've been to Jodrell Bank) if we wanted to. Just because someone doesn't know if it exists or not, it doesn't mean it might not exist. It just means someone hasn't bothered to find out. Any scientist who could be considered half-decent would admit satellites exist.
-
But you see, this is just ignorance. I could say to people saying "how do you know it exists?" - "Why don't you go and find out if it exists instead of wasting your sorry life typing bullshit on the internet?" Scientists know stuff exists (e.g. satellites) through first hand experience, are we to say they don't exist simply because we can't be assed going to Jodrell Bank? Just ignorance, really.

I think it would be almost impossible to hang a model there given that Jupiter can be magnified and looks far too realistic. Also, the model would have to move in relation to our viewing point, meaning you'd have to have some orbiting satellite or so with a big cut-out attached to it. Lastly, you could measure the size relative to the distance of the planet against nearby stars to see it is considerably larger than they are. I don't think this 'it's all a lie' line of thinking is reasonable since we have learned so much through science, and the ones with this line of thinking think this way because they are not the scientists themselves, doing the research.

How do you know that we are real?

Only because people use the shop relating the to console that they have, and the online shops themselves don't tend to pull people to a console. They are basically the same thing (in terms of what they provide) and so, in my opinion, directly comparable. I don't see what you mean by not comparable since they don't grasp the same market share? If one service offers a better variety of content (or more DC for multiplatform games), has a weaker layout, or even costs more for similar games, isn't that comparable? Seems like it definitely is to me. Even if the games on each store vary in terms of how they play, the delivery and implementation of the store is indeed comparable. Well, a lot of the reason why games seem so good is often due to nothing else being as good or fresh at the time. A few years after Halo 2's release on Xbox, no one could care less about it coming to PC. For the same reason, people don't really care about GTAIV anymore. While there are many timeless classics in gaming, there isn't one game I can think of that I didn't enjoy more at the time of playing (the greatest examples I have are OoT and Final Fantasy VIII) than years later.

Wipeout HD and flow are enough to die happy . They're also very reasonably priced and you can simply pay using real money and not kooky points that you have to buy in certain increments. :p Don't get me wrong, I love castle crashers, but I see the content, layout and payment system for PSN store coming out on tops. With my 360 I can't pay for the points with my Maestro card for some reason, so I have to go to the shop and buy them or get them off eBay. Look at the sales figures for Halo and Gears of War, then look at the sheer amount of advertising and hype attached to them. They clearly go hand in hand, as people are easily persuaded by marketing. Yeah, you probably have bought other games too, but there's probably tons more games you might have liked but never gave a second look. With the PS3, the two games you quoted wanting are probably the two most hyped games on the system, citing no other less-popular games as being wanted, which is why I logically picked up on the fact. I see you didn't reply to my comment on owning Bioshock, or having a 360.
-
People only see 2 games to play because they're the only 2 games that have been hyped/are mainstream enough for them to notice. Basically, unless there's Halo/Gears of War in-your-face style hype and advertising some people just assume that the game must automatically be too rubbish to warrant purchase. We're not as bad as America in terms of hype and advertising making us buy stuff, but still bad.

Nope, had the superior PC version since the day of release. I also have an Xbox 360 anyway (see tag). You might have been getting enjoyment from Sunshine later, but there's no doubt that it won't have the same effect as release and waiting does suck. A good example is GTAIV, possibly Halo 3 a little too. It really was one of them games that people wanted on release, and nowadays with GTAIV definitely it's not seen as the 10/10 masterpiece as everyone was saying it was back then. To be fair, I find forum brown-nosing disgusting, particularly when his point failed since he didn't realise I: a) Had an Xbox 360 anyway (blatantly obvious due to my gamertag) b) Had the PC version from release. So I don't think he owned me, actually (nice try, though).
-
They're not going to say "No, our console can't run MGS4", are they? The truth is that with the mandatory hard drive installs, any 360 model without a hard drive probably couldn't play it. They'd have to release it on 5 discs or something instead and the whole thing would probably feel disjointed. Plus, who will care about the game by the time it comes out? XD I'd rather have the console to play the game when it actually hits the shelves. It's like when they released Halo 2 for PC a while after it came to Xbox. I certainly couldn't care about it anymore, and the game felt pretty old. Judging by the fact there's no article detailing that they're working on the 360 version right now you can pretty much bet if it did come to 360 it wouldn't do for a long time.
-
You are always anti-PS3 anyway, I'm still glad I have one because this game will be fantastic.
-
Yeh, it's definitely a trick, maybe it's even future Ando (the bastard). :p
-
It's so stupid when you think about it. People can choose to believe in something with no proof, ie. belief alone, and if enough people believe it then they can dictate what they don't want to see happen. They can then force their views so that people who don't even share those views are affected by their rants. I think we should create a cult of those who don't like oxygen, and if enough of us join we can get oxygen BANNED. That'll teach it.

Halloween Games! (Warning: NOT for the faint hearted)
Sheikah replied to darksnowman's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Halloween Town in Kingdom Hearts 1 definitely. :p I loved that place, had great background music to match, too.
