I can't fault that selection process... :p

The manufacturers are idiots. I remember getting bought my Dell PC quite a while ago before I knew much about computers (~5 years ago) and later on when I started to know about stuff I found out it didn't even have an AGP graphics card slot. So basically I was limited to the crappy PCI cards and there was no way I could upgrade it on that computer. I hated Dell so much from then on... I got my new PC from MESH. They are pretty awesome. :p

Yeh, which is why this won't be for me. I had the GC game, which honestly didn't hold me for all that long. The DS game was pretty much more of the same, which I also have, and this new one looks set to be the same too. It's just the lack of anything I would actually want to do in a videogame that makes this series suck for me.

Why Zelda Wii will probably be the best game ever.
Sheikah replied to Edjamakated's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Minish cap to me felt more like a condensed 'lite' gamecube Zelda game, rather than the original feel of the previous gameboy Zelda games. The style that Link's Awakening and so on had worked particularly well for portables I thought. -
Loads. And a quick google: "i was using my bog standard cable i got with my samsung monitor, i was using it on my plasma 42", i wanted a better cable for peace of mind, i spent 24 quid on a profigold vga - vga cable, never noticed any difference, other cables or more expensive cables may show an improvement, at least i have the peace of mind im not losing any pic quality." Unless the cable he gets is literally made by a retard I'm sure it won't matter at all.

I think you need to replace a fuse or something if you think Link's Awakening and the Oracle games are screwed up. Minish Cap, maybe, but the other ones?? -
You have to get past the first stage in order for there to see the main gameplay. What about it did you find boring? I find it boring after doing most of the stuff in the space stage and constantly being attacked by the undefeatable Grox, but at your stage there was still stuff to do.

The chances of there being a step-up in quality are so minimal that I wouldn't worry about it.

Why Zelda Wii will probably be the best game ever.

My view? Let them put change in each game; it's not like it's the end of the world if the game isn't so great on occasion. Video games aren't the be all and end all. Majora's Mask felt very different to OoT in my opinion, mostly due to the dark aura the game gave out as well as the novel concept of time. So really, they made a fair jump from OoT to MM and produced a gem, instead of just a generic sequel. Change is needed for great things. Wind Waker graphics aren't for everyone, yet I liked them. The point is, big changes make playing new games worthwhile. There's no point to playing such a similar seeming game with improved graphics (sheer graphics alone, not the visual style). To me, TP was like a modern OoT with the addition of transforming into a wolf. It didn't have enough change to excite me, or make me look back on it thinking 'what a game'. That, and there were some uninspired areas (namely Link's hometown and the boomerang dungeon). -

You would say that, you're barely old enough to have played the others. You can say people are viewing with 'nostalgia goggles', but others could say you're viewing older games with modern expectations. Swings and roundabouts. But rest assured, it was nothing on Majora's Mask. -
She sounds like some slut who doesn't even know what love is, yet is giving you lines from her favourite sitcom. XD When I first heard the title of that show, I nearly threw up. Mental images came about that took a while for me to repress. Okami is a great game, much better than Zelda TP I thought anyway.

How is it a possibility, until you prove it is? You haven't a clue whether it is even possible or not. Possible definition: "capable of happening or existing". If there is no proof for god, how do we even know he is capable of happening or existing? We don't, therefore it's not even a possibility, until you prove it so. For example, if it was to emerge that a human being was able to cause earthquakes, was in control of an otherworldy club of dead people, performed planet synthesis and was also spawning other humans with no tools other than sheer will, then I suppose we could admit that it's possible there could be another person with the same power, with the name God.

My only problem now is the Grox Empire (the big bad mothers living in the center). Anyone know a surefire way to get these guys done in swiftly?
-
Yeh the screenshots do look cool, but I hated the generic cheesy voiceover in the trailer though. Made me think they were just trying to target it at younger or casual players.
-
Nope, that's not how life works. If we could say that anything existed because there wasn't proof to say it didn't, we'd be innundated with a host of magical beings/chocolate talking teapots/invisible newts that could actually exist. Proof is exactly how it sounds - you prove something is what it is. To prove something doesn't exist is almost impossible, since you'd have to search every crevice of the Earth and space, possibly the universe. That is why things do not exist by default, and must first be proven to exist. The same holds true for anything really, particularly in science. The fact that people use the line 'you can't prove God doesn't exist' shows what a load of hocus pocus they are believing in to begin with. If people are so uncertain about their life that they feel the need to confide in a concept with absolutely no proof then so help them. IMO.
-
You have to prove things for them to exist, not the other way around, otherwise you could say absolutely anything existed and because people couldn't prove otherwise they must be wrong. With anything in life, it's always proof that is required for theories and mechanisms. Why should 'God' be any different?

I need to buy a camera actually, been meaning to for ages. I'll go for one of those ultra megapixel, pinpoint-the-blemishes-in-HD cameras. Brawww.

Yup Horstachio...but the legendary one you want is Chewnicorn. It heals.

I would say it sounds like a bag of shit. Probably one of the worst RPGs on the 360 by the sounds of things.
