Nah, multiple cartridges would have been too expensive, it's pretty much why they had to go with CDs to make that kind of game.

FFVII had 3 CDs, FFVIII had 4. Each CD is capable of holding ~ 700 MB. So no, it couldn't have fit on an N64 cartridge. And if they could have made one, it would have cost a fortune.

lol @ boring level design in Demon's/Dark Souls. Not even gonna bother.

It's the social element, PvP and the new stuff they add every few months. The game just has extraordinary replay value, not even Monster Hunter which is on a Nintendo console on this Nintendo board has anywhere near the activity Destiny does! By all accounts they accomplished something amazing with this game as nothing else keeps people on here playing quite like like this. And yeah, we enjoy it.

That sucks Ganepark. When I had a year and a half left on my PhD my supervisor left to go to Singapore for good and start a lab there. It was super disruptive and he started stealing equipment bought on our grant to take with him. He screwed us over pretty badly, and his behaviour has always been pretty strange anyway (antisocial / possibly even a little autistic). You will get through it though. Just like I did.

Oh yeah true. Forgot about that. Oh welll.... We can just join you when you unlock L28. I can't remember, what did we need to do to buy a piece of equipment?# Edit: it was clearing L28 to get an armour core right?

Can we not enter it with a character who has done it already on L34, two of us on new characters who haven't done it before join them, then the one guy who has done it already who setup the game switches to his alt? Just thinking I'd like to get the L34 right away because that would help do everything else.

I started with boots as pretty much all the best ones just have heavy ammo increase so there's not much to debate (so I ascended the Crota ones). I don't think I'll be using exotic boots so doing boots didn't require much deliberation.

Bros I'll be on for around 8ish. Edit: on soon! Great night, did the L34 PoE and did a nightfall and got a slick exotic for my hunter. Crouch invisibility, faster reload with primary weapons and 4 x melee damage to enemies while invisible. Best of all is a bug on my arm.

Nah, he means that doing salvage was what quite a few people needed for a trophy to get the platinum, but couldn't get it as it wasn't always available. I would be up for doing a 3 x normal Crota run this weekend (say Friday?), we could get you flawless raider then. Anyone up for that? Friday 8:30 PM guys? Any takers? I'll put Daft down for it automatically unless you want to switch date/don't want to do it.
