  1. The maintainance part is the beauty of wearing dailys...remove and dispose. There is nothing worse than getting in pissed up and removing a lens then dropping it only to find it stuck to your foot or arse 1 hour later, then having to clean and rehydrate the thing. You could always consider Laser eye correction: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GglUM4-10QQ.
  2. LOL.....I could'nt have put it better myself I have been waiting for some quality Ghostbusters gaming goodness since the Spectrum/C64 versions of the game. This is the first attempt I have seen that has actually impressed me. The thought of controlling a proton pack with a wii-mote has to be a concept and a half though .
  3. For the record I am a total atheist and fortean, I will not be swayed on the unknown until it is solidly presented to me.... If you are a follower of logic and science though, try this for a take on the quantum theory of life after death: http://www.opuslux.com/lifeafterdeath.htm
  4. Sorry to hear and never a good thing. Thats life unfortunately, cruel and at times depressing. (Had my fair share over the past few years too, and an additional reminder of my own mortality yesterday) If any lesson is to be learned, its the fact that life is too short.
  5. Its a big possibility and would be foolish for them not to try...It would be a shame to see it as Sony exclusive (Only in the fact I have no intention of owning a PS3). On the other hand, it is an open chance for Sony to rake cash from a more 'established' console. I suppose the question is: would the game have minority or majority appeal ? Most comments I have seen, including my own, have been from fans of the film and not the general gaming hardcore.
  6. They have removed the videos, but if you do a search for Zootfly and ghostbusters you will find footage of a game called Time0.....Check out the landscapes and they are still set in the same New York with a few character changes. Interestingly, note that Zootfly have left in "Ghostbusters" as part of the search keywords...I dont think they have quite given up yet.
  7. Worn contacts for over 14 years now, wouldnt be without them.... Daily disposables are the best option though if you can afford it.
  8. I thought the current wiimote already gave battery status with the amount of flashing lights when you press a button with the console off.....couldnt see N adding extra LEDs for that. I reckon they will add Videoplus to revision 2 though.
  9. "Another pint please, landlord"
  10. When you die there is not even nothing. No blackness......nothing. Just a corpse waiting to rot, a liitle heat created by the rotting process and a lot of happy hungry worms.
  11. Yeah, happens more or less everytime there is plenty of action on the go. No suggestion other than pretend your character has weird seizures as well as the occasional bout of shellshock.
  12. The reason ppl own multiple consoles is because of this strange misconception devlopers have of Nintendo console owners. At the best, 1st party titles are few and far between and there is a market to print money with the right games between these titles.... It doesnt take too much intelligence to work out the point when not to release a game on a Nintendo console imho.
  13. Rez is the only digital drug I need.....although it is even better laced with a big spliff
  14. Its ok, I suppose..... Myself, I will be opting for the mighty XDA Flame when it hits these shores hopefully sometime soon.
  15. Bring back the WW battleships mini game. Fcuk knows why the "Ker-boooom" and "Splish" dialogue amused the hell out of me.
  16. The friend zone is a curse if you keep yourself to that circle of friends...Make a break, get out to places you dont normally go for the nightlife, enjoy yourself, dont act too desperate and things will happen.
  17. Thanks for the source. I wouldnt take that report onboard at all in all honesty, it wasnt done under correct measuring condition and there is the big fact of the Wii being rated for HDD sound levels when it doesnt have one....Far from scientific.
  18. Which 3 are you talking here ? On any dB meter I have ever used (and I have worked with a few in my time) it would never show up as bad as the 360 would...Im not willing to comment on the PS3 It was behind glass when I played it. If the Wii was as loud as the 360, I would definitely assume something was not right. In their brand new just out of the box state the Wii was the quietest of the two by a large margin in all similar operations, both were bought within days of each other and placed literally inches from each other when set up. (Carpeted floor). I expect to hear a disc spin up on any optical drive I use, along with the click of the lens hitting the tops of the electromagnetic posts it is placed on, it is some reassurance that the device is working mechanically. If the noises are really so bad I would be looking at questioning the situation with whoever I purchased it from....As to the console making 'banging' noises, that is unquestionably not right:shakehead
  19. Agreed.. The clunking noise isnt an issue, all optical drives do it. Its just the laser lens attempting to focus.
  20. Thanks for the feedback... Decided to give it a miss for the time being, the time to complete it sounds a little bit underwhelming....Will probably buy it if I see it on offer or pre-played.
  21. Anybody got an opinion on this game ? Thinking of picking it up today and I just wondered what ppls impressions of it were.
  22. I noticed the sensor works better for me on the stand on the top of the set, but i think its to do with the angle of play. In all honesty, everyones setup will be different depending on where they operate the wiimote from. If my settee was higher, it would possibly allow for the stand not to be used. I think I may try this. Unless I can get my hands on a spare NES Rob.
  23. That stuff catches up with you after a while.....It just makes me want to sleep about 20 mins after after the initial energy rush. Domestos FTW!!!11
  24. There was definately one in there (check the box contents list), just cant remember where in the box it was packed. Im sure it was well protected in that foamy wrap stuff as well which may have been a reason for some ppl missing it. If the wii-mote works ok without it I suppose it isnt a problem, but it helps if the screen case you are using is slightly bevelled. (ie. many non flat screen TV's)
  25. Heh, I find the whole Brrrrap thing amusing and very cliché....Its origins come from early Drum and bass MCing Went to a hardcore night with live MC's last year and spent half of the night pissing myself with laughter everytime I heard it.....that and the people who danced like spastic orangutans. The laughing gas may have made it funnier though.
