I think the whole who will sell most subject is pointless as far as this generation goes. I dont think the Wii will be staying in the market for the same lifespan as the 360 or ps3, it cant. As far as I am concerned I dont think the PS3 will utilise the power it supposedly has to even 80% within the next 5 years, by which point any contenders will most likely already be banding around a new bunch of specs to make the gullible foam at the mouth. PS3 will sell more when/if Sony decide its time to charge a reasonable price for what will amount to little more than a games machine in most peoples living rooms as opposed to the all singing dancing media machine it is supposed to be. (Same applies to the 360...most setups I know of are switched on to simply play a game). Either way, the only thing I am interested in seeing is serious support for the Wii, and if it can keep the lead it is doing for now, that should be easy. I have bought the machine all I want is a good choice of software for it. As to the controller being a novelty aspect of the Wii, from a personal pov, its won me over. I played Zelda TP with a control system that felt right to me (at no point was I wishing I could just plug a cube controller in), SSX Blur seems spot on and as good as a joypad to control. Im sure if the system is thought out correctly the Wiimote can apply itself to anything a standard pad could and add plenty more for good measure.

I havent mastered them either Have you tried the uber training bit ? It allows you to get the technique of gestures mastered without being on the board. Try also varying your time on doing the gesture.

A network of ultrabright leds under the skin surface that you can program with messages like "NO !", and "Fuck off !" so every time a chav approachs me to ask for a cigarette or money with that old classic line: "I've lost my buspass/money, can you spare us 10p ?". This way I can answer them over a long distance without them needing to approach me.: peace: -
The control system is great if you invest a little time to learn how it works. It would be missing the point if you mastered every control/trick and uber on first attempt. Its a decent game imo & a worthy of the purchase.

Cant see it being a problem. With it only being only mono it is obviously only designed as a comms device. It would irritate the piss out of me not having access to full blown stereo ingame as it would many others. Put it this way, people have had telephones for decades and that hasnt really caused problems.

Bought this at dinnertime, but not played it yet......will most likely plan later when inebriated

Unless I have time periods wrong, why are there a bunch of bits that look like they are more modern than 1914 ? One minute its gothic then it goes underground cave industrial complete with caution marks on the metal steps.

Certifiably so. Clockwork Orange is just too dull after Alex gets caught. Good story etc, just didnt do too much for me.... I think Halo is crap as well. :awesome:

Cant fault that, been on my list for ages, as for everyone buying it.....doubtful, it was a much misunderstood concept that didnt sell that well. While they are at it they could do a special edition Space Channel 5 1 & 2 as well. [update: actually there seems to be rumours abound with both the above, which I totally missed or slept through...possible Rez 2, possible Rez on XBLA, possible New SC5. That Mizuguchi geezer knows how to tease]. Tapper could be an interesting concept with the wiimote.

I drink whatever amount I feel in the mood to drink.... That figure can vary between 2 pints to 12 pints.

Human Traffic Unbeatable as a film to watch before a weekend of clubbing and hedonism and is still to this day the most accurate portrayal of that type of culture I have ever seen. There has never been a film that makes me want to go out and have a good weekend more than this one (ie. its totally fuckin' stupid idea watching it midweek ). 9/10 Romper Stomper Love it..... A film of skinheads, race hate, neo nazism and an orgy of violence with every side taking casualties. Sort of like Clockwork Orange without the boring bits. Fantastic soundtrack too. 7/10

Not sure what the problem is there ... Its working ok for me atm, definitely not a problem with the site.

Try Zeropaid.com, there may be an answer there.... For the paid you tube service suggestion, I cant see it happening.....Google video already took that side of it up. I think they will more than likely just end up being forced to give up names of copyright infringers. (http://newteevee.com/2007/02/13/youtube-gives-24-posters-name-to-fox/)

Too much history to choose from these days...I hate to think how many album/film/game covers this cranium of mine has stored over the last few decades.

Its the usual bullshit.....You Tube is a great internet media asset imho. At times it breaches copyright, but in a low quality way. I stumbled upon it looking for various music feeds, but if MTV et al want to force the rips over to torrents and p2p its their loss.

Blame Guinness. I all honesty I cant stand the drink, but anyone who creates another excuse to get absolutely trousered is quality in my eyes.

Another videogame related piss take. Mario Kart. Some people have too much time on their hands (And what a better way to piss it up the wall than a live action mock up of a Nintendo racing game)

The RE4 one was the best they ever did, total genius...None too keen on the rest of them.

Both games were great imho, but SM64 held the jaw drop factor and memories for me. At the time the game came out it was perfect from my pov in every department. Although in its defense SMS had the attraction of being able to call the Shine Sprites Shite Sprines.

It is pissing me off that the only film I have been aching to watch still has no UK release date yet: http://www.guidetogettingdown.com/Shell2.aspx

Damn....I read the thread title and expected to see the followup to that crazy badger, mushroom, snake song/flash vid -
Midi is something that when programmed, sequences and expressed correctly sounds fantastic. When given to an amateur who doesnt understand the midi set thats when it goes to pot. Koji has always had my attention musically since hearing the score for Starwing in the Snes days. As an experienced midi musician/sound engineer myself I have always had admiration for his work. In all honesty the problem you speak of is down to the game triggering the sound.....The danger sounds I found fitted the game very well, but its down to individual opinion at the end of the day.
