Cats are fantastic creatures....intelligent, independent, and damn amusing at times. I have had 6 in my lifetime (4 were at the same time as the mother abandoned them in our yard). Such is my adoration for Cats that if I ever saw or caught a person trying to harm a cat, I would most likely neuter them. (and I have had a good day).

lol...isketch is a damned conspiracy. Everytime I get a word its something along the lines of 'Cockroach', 'Wipe' or 'Mate'. Next thing I know I get booted out.

A kitten and a laser pointer would keep me happy for a lifetime....

I had the black screen thing a few times, but on one occasion noticed that the wiimote was vibrating the way it does when you go over a button. Dunno if the problem is to do with how the video out port works, but simply unplugging and reconnecting the video cable at the back of the machine brings the screen back every time.

I dunno, could be a subjective thing.....I just watched the animation with the girl entering the room and being sat in front of the camera, and the motion seemed spot on, but the skin texture and lighting failed it as soon as the camera focussed. The closest I ever came to believing a computer animation was 'real' in recent times was the first part in Animatrix, but as soon as the skin came into view i detail it was shattered....No-one has skin and toning that clinically perfect.

Have to admit, I wasnt too impressed either. The bit where they scrapping naked on the bed was piss funny, but incredibly wrong though.

No....She got it out for me when we got back upstairs. (Cold exposure = shrivelled) The rest was just animal instinct.

Looks quite impressive...great stuff.:awesome: The point I was getting at is there are plenty of things that are not mastered graphically that allow me to view a game character as a real human, to watch a tech demo and think it was a TV program or live action is the pinnacle that needs to be reached...At the end of the day that is what most of this technology claims to allow for. I have to agree with everything that Fierce is saying though. Technology is never pushed to its true limit, and the reason is its easier to just wait for the next technology to come along. RE4 looked good, and I dont think even that was pushing the cube to its true potential. The problem with constantly moving technology like it is atm is it doesnt allow for familiarity and mastery of the systems. PRoducing real life in a game isnt the be all and end all either....The previous Gen were capable of producing games based on cartoons, but that wasnt pushed all the way either but enough potential was shown with games like Wind Waker for instance. The sooner we hit a technology 'wall', the better imho (Something I have been praying for over the last few years).

I wont say I like the idea of no online gaming for another 12 months. Not the news I wanted to hear in all honesty.

The HD+Gaming thing is blown out of proportion imho, there are still boundaries to be broken with standard definition yet as you state....Sure, you have better clarity and sharper images, but what is the real point if graphics devs cannot truly imitate real life in standard definition ? I have yet to see a human gaming character look truly human.

Me and my g/f watched it sat on the bench in the front yard. It was a beautiful clear night and the stars were even more visible than usual because of the moonlight being toned down...

And I'm around to make sure the scales always tip, cos I'm satan Life is a rollercoaster of ups and downs. Without the downs in life, the ups would seem less worthwhile and rewarding.

I becoming older a day at a time.

You have to remember the doobie method doesnt work for everybody especially if they are already knackered....:p I find that after around the 32 hour mark of sleep deprivation (usually after the peripheral vision crap has stopped) it is easy to stay awake without any artificial help. As for getting a job and a life comment (bit harsh imho), fcuk that crap.....sponge off the state for a while. They are going to screw you for a lifetime of tax and NI Contributions anyway....Its not like I'm going to get any rebate for everyone who decides not to spend their time tossing it off.

Its wrong, its my scene, but I willing to bet health and safety comes into the picture.

lol....maybe. Someone ought to check the IP on the accounts. They are worst thing to have hit this country by a mile...Im sure there is some type of Dr. Who style plot going off where there is a facility that clones them and releases them onto the streets at night in packs. It certainly isnt natural.

I can relate to that, Always preferred night to daytime, the only reason I exist in the day is to go to work.

Chilled. About to watch the film 'Silk' (again), attempted it last night and fell asleep.

Ban scissors ? Absolute nutter imho, but it must have been one hell of a disruptive child to drive someone that far.

What is the most stupid thing you have ever done

Too many things to mention, but Im with the school of thought that states its better to regret something you did than something you didn't do. Its all great character building stuff imho, and something that helps shape your life. (unless of course it involved igniting an explosive firework wedged between your arse cheeks, then its probably not greatly character building and disfigures your rectum, in which case I have no sympathy for you...) -
Dont do stimulants like coffee and taurine....They burn you out a lot quicker than people think after the initial up. Take a walk, get some fresh air, that usually works for me.

But to the same effect a World Health organisation report stated that the only lethal dose of cannabis would be "a 1 ton lump dropped directly onto someones head from a great height" (Untelevised of course....not sensational enough imho). In the same percentage of cases carbon monoxide can have effect on brain chemistry, so can prozac, so can an unhealthy love of swords or anything weapons related...My scientific theories on this subject are based on reality, not a thesis of what happens when a lab-rat is pumped with half its bodyweight in MDMA or a spider is spike fed with methyl-amphetamine. You are open to your own opinions on the subject, but I can bet most is formed from a million and one sources that are biased into looking for ill effects as opposed to the positive aspects. (For unbiased accounts and experimentation try erowid.org rather than asking 'Frank') The reason for banning swords is also based on research looking for their negative impact as opposed to their positive. (end of drugs/swords example) Back on track and as I have already stated though, Im not against sword ownership (I am part of that group), I am not against people drinking alchocol, I am not against societies use of prostitutes. As long as it does not infringe on on an unwilling person I am fine with it, but you just have to sit and accept if its on the books to be made illegal, then so be it, cause rioting in the street certainly wouldnt help a case like the one in question......no amount of signing petitions will change that when it is seen as there is some potential to go wrong. I understand I am in the wrong place to debate the usage of drugs, I anticipated and mentioned it in the first post I made about using drugs as an example to how society psychologically acts to the issues of what should be illegal and what shouldnt be and got the response I expected, it may take a while for people to understand what I have been saying and its relationship to the subject, it may never be understood. I also understand that being in a forum that has a high intake of martial arts and manga/Japan culture and paraphenalia I will come across plenty of reasons why swords should be legal to keep. The moral of all this: Just let it all serve as a warning that if each little group of do-gooders in society keep getting their way there will be nothing left to enjoy.... Tolerance within reason is what the world needs, and this generation has the power to turn that around. If it had have been that way before modern society started acting like a bunch of self righteous know it alls, this thread wouldnt have existed in the first place.

It looks like its falling into the worthwhile purchase category.....I reckon I will be taking a definite look at this one.
