  1. They are not a bad store, the best of the bunch if I'm honest....I just tend to find they never have the games in I am looking for and I end up going elsewhere. My g/f always usually walks out with an armful of DVD's though.
  2. Because its still a free market....You could set up a shop tomorrow if you had the means. Yeah this is shite news, but there is always the internet, Comet, independants, HMV, Virgin, CEX, Cash Converters, Woolworths, so on and so forth etc, etc, and most of them offer the same amount of cluelessness for roughly the same price (if not cheaper).
  3. I wouldnt underestimate the commerciality of the product that is PP. Over a relatively short period it has gone from Small internet show to something that has made itself into a full blown business that sells a good bit of merchandise and premiers its shows in big cities for cash. If it keeps its quality and stays free I will be happy though. (FPS Doug still has plenty of mileage in him too).

    Sadness

Looking forward to a possible game that sounds conceptually good. They announced the intention to develop Sadness for the Wii approx 12 months ago, which considering It took Silicon Knights 5 years to get Eternal darkness onto the shelf is fair play. If it doesnt come out, Nibris wont have been the first company to announce and then not release the very same product. However, each to their own...

    Sadness

I'll vouch for that....For the price of an appearance in the credits a lot of artists will perform without cash involvement as it adds to their portfolio. Same goes for voice acting. I just hope the mentioned fog is used for atmospheric purposes and not to disguise graphical shortcomings. I still dont see what is to be gained by stringing the world along with a hoax game (for the ones pessimistic of how serious the project is)........ ..Unless of course they are looking to get jobs in advertising or as political party broadcast moguls.
  6. He's a quality ickle feller.: peace:
  7. I have a feeling the show will start to go downhill now due to it getting slightly more commercial (its peak being ep 10 where it was flashing back to Jeremys previous jobs). I will be watching though...
  8. I wish we had have had it locally, unfortunatley it was one of those games that was restricted to a day trip or holiday to the seaside, seeing quite a few arcade conversions of it never helped either being that they never felt faithful (until Gradius III on the snes)...The intro theme to the game was one of them that stuck in my head though. R-type was the one that we treated in a competitve way locally. I have and still would be if it hadnt have been for the downhill trend of innovation in arcades in recent years. The last time I visited Namco wonderpark in Meadowhall (My current 'local' arcade) I was a bit unimpressed with the fact the it was full of beat em up sequels and those damn prize ticket machines.
  9. Had that one in my YT favourites a while now. My Little Pony vs Rammstein: Truth or dare ?
  10. I dunno, there seems to be a trend with N selling off companies about the time they turn average. No doubt Monolith will go the same way. Usually a move like by Nintendo this means some special stuff is on the horizon from a particular dev....Cant wait to see Day of Crisis now.

    Your area

Where I live is ok... We have something like 15+ pubs on the main road so I am never short of a drink. Saying that I prefer Leeds.

  13. Chemical imbalance of the brain can happen to anyone and there is in most peoples cases someone suffering within their immediate circle of friends and the scariest thing is any number of sociological factors can set it off. (Even more so in the current culture of work someone until they are stressed silly). I still think it was a gender identity problem mixed with a cry for help.
  14. Had it on the Amiga... Much fun.
  15. Sounds good.... But on a pessimistic note, I hope they aren't spreading their talents too thinly whilst producing this amount of titles.

    Sadness

It was up and running though before Lionhead severed the ties. AAA title ? Maybe not to some, but it is the sort of game that I put at the top of my purchase list, and I admit I am creaming my pants at the thought of getting my sweaty paws on Space Giraffe. : peace: Unity: Giraffe: CONGRATURATION! YOU SUCCESS! A WINNER IS YOU! BUT OUR GIRAFFE IS IN ANOTHER CASTLE! Cant wait....

    Sadness

Unity moved into a project called Neon (currently the visualisation program for xbox360) and is partly the concept of Space Giraffe (awaiting checks for release ox XBLA).

    Sadness

The way I see it: Number of titles in my gaming library that are Sadness or of similar concept in my library as we speak: Zero Number of titles in my gaming library that are Sadness or of similar concept in my library in the future: Possibly 1. Seems a reasonable outcome being that I or no-one else here have personally invested anything in the project. Lets be honest here, if they are bullshitting everyone down the line regarding this, what do they gain other than a few forums openly cursing their names and any chance of ever being able to tout their names as serious programmers ?
  19. The simple things in life like payday and clubbing (nightlife and seals).
  20. Depends if the toilet and the grate is already 'engaged'..... Otherwise on the bowl if everyone is asleep, directly into the water if im in a noisy mood or during day, and all over the rim and floor if I'm pissed.
  21. Maybe s/he had gender problems....If not, they certainly have them now.
  22. Scoff a multipack of pepperami firesticks. By the morning you should have cooked up a great recipe in your stomach for approx. 6-12 hours supply of rusty water.
  23. Vienna was better covered by Vic Reeves in the syle of club....Legendary.
  24. They wouldnt, but two words that did care.... BoB Geldof. It was an attempt to bring himself back into the limelight for something other than being the bloke who sung "I Dont like Mondays"
  25. The original. None of the others have Francis Rossi pointing and doing that retarded grin into the camera in the video.
