I disagree... Human traffic does all of the above and never even got a sniff of the word controversial or got cut in any way. Light gun games exist, Time crisis glorified a gun toting killing spree whilst giving the feel of holding a gun. That was never seen as controversial or got cut. (And before someone tries to point it out, its not the reason for the slight rise in gun culture in the UK recently) If the BBFC comments are anything to go by, at the most it can only make you gain a bigger descriptive vocabulary and use it more creatively. Manhunt 2 is a game and I promise you that 99.99999% of adults can see that. Im beginning to think the people saying otherwise must really question how easily they could be unhinged by content of this nature. End of ?

I understand that point, but granting the license would have opened up at least some options for none too shoddy sales of the game. Internet game sales have shot in the last few years, at least they mostly guarantee a credit card sale (ie. not many minors have free reign of a credit card).

There were some shots of a wii version of the game from some japanese mag that proved to be hoax... Cubed3 did mention that Mizuguchi was working on another SC5 here: http://www.cubed3.com/news/6763 , but I have heard nothing since either

It is such a damn shame that this game is possibly not going to see the light of day in its true form... After reading certain hands on reports and reviews it seems like it was a very well crafted game with a lot of thought put into it. The one point I am missing here is when N were apparently in talks (or begging) with R* to get them producing games for the Wii. Surely they will feel more than a little let down at this point with the lack of their support.

Ditto here. I didnt add it through fear of repeating myself again. They should just do Both the original and Part 2 on one disk. Even after completing both several times over on the DC I would pay for the experience again.

Just bought the DHR video compliation... Love Atari Teenage Riot and am having a phase of listening to nothing other than their stuff at the minute. six quid for a compilation of all their videos + a load of other stuff from their side projects seemed excessively reasonable.

Those babies are quality with a few beers.... On the subject at hand though, I used to be really bad at travelling the only thing that I was ok with was trains. I grew out of it at around 20 years old though. The only thing I can say is what was stated above, try to keep yourself looking out of the windows, not at a book or the floor when travelling.

I dunno....I provides a view from the outside world imho. Anyways, if anyone else emails them, rather than using the generic enquiries address, it may be worth trying [email protected].... If the bbfc use the same system as most companies for creating email accounts, that one may hit the spot.

Well no 'regret to' email from sendit.com today either. I would have thought the only thing that can stop the the game is some problem with the PAL distributor, or some serious intervention by UK law. Things are looking pretty groovy atm in respect of this game being in my collection on release day.

Im wondering if the Jersey sites are actually going to try to send this game out (Presuming they can get PAL versions) ? The UK sites seem to have acted fast removing it from the catologues, but as specified earlier Play still lists it, and my Jersey favourite Sendit.com still has it listed.... I have bobbed an order on it regardless just to see the outcome. (Most likely a 'We regret to inform you..' email').

From a basic point of view, banning actions like this are splittng games into a 'good violence', 'bad violence' scenario. The reality of the situation is killing is killing and the BBFC is making a retarded statement by allowing any content that allows you to kill another human being in a virtual format.
