I see what you are saying, but still be inclined to say that maybe they are missing something...The pov's given are in line with what a seasoned gamerlooking for some deeper meaning may agree with. Give the game to a group of 6 teenage girls or a even a group of people who are having a bit of a knees up a home and I am sure at least one group will rate it higher than those averages. Karaoke is and always will be a pretty shallow 'game', but the correct conditions and atmosphere can change that easily, and think that same thing applies with this title.

Boondock Saints. Fantastic film....Heard about it being a 'wanna see' film last week off one of my mates at work. A pleasant surprise and well above my expectations. Most of the characters were great and plenty of comedy moments. 8/10

The n95 is a nice phone....The video camera is brilliant I have to admit that. Symbian aint a bad OS either. (It was responsible for my addiction to owning phones within the smartphone genre...Although Nokias pissing about with releasing phones was my reason for updating to the XDA 2 and the WM platform). As for a serious iPhone contender that is hackable as hell try : http://www.htctouch.com/ Already released on T-mobile and Orange under other names (Still no good for me though....VGA spoilt me :P)

Glad you see it the way I (possibly) do... Imho, this was never a game for a lonesome geek type (and I mean no offence by that comment). I still think this game has a potential that is being missed regardless of the low opinions it is receiving....Rest assured, If I get it on release, me a few pals and a trusty bottle of vodka (or maybe absynth) will make sure my opinion is voiced :P

I have a feeling that the best add on to the whole package should have been a few bottles of spirits and a party....I think the whole testing conditions for this game were probably wrong.

The worst thing about my Wii is it wont accept my 360 games....although I have also found out that the 360 wont accept my Wii games either.

I noticed it, but didnt bother with the update.....I think it has just extended the controller options to include GC pad. There is also an update for Gradius that is similar.

Kerwallity.....Cant wait to start doing some virtual fretwanking with this bundle. Would have preferred something other than a Les Paul though, the shape never really did it for me. (Although this may prompt me to attempt a bit of controller modding )

Decent large house in North > Piddling house in South for the same price. Pint price North > Pint price South. Thats my take on the situation anyways. The preferable from my pov would be to work in the South and live in the North.

There are a ton of reasons not to use a PC for homebrew, especially if you arent up to pratting about with apps like glovePIE and bluetooth dongles and then getting it all to play together nicely. Plus homebrew that runs on the PC is 'PC homebrew'. Playing DS homebrew on the PC can be done, but it isnt the same. Then there is that little point of leaving systems to rot as I stated above. Technology is supposed to be about empowerment.

It could be an interesting topic to debate and one that I am always willing and happy to participate in. There are legal ways, but in most cases it would involve attending some kind of gaming developers course, for a lot of people that may be too much commitment (In the same way many people want to learn a musical instrument without committing to learning notation/scales etc by the usual and often boring conventional methods of teaching. On topic though...I have not updated yet, but may well do so later this evening.

If you like it and think it is worth buying, then buy it...I agree... But the above comments are very one sided from my pov because I like technology, gaming and freedom (along with the education that comes with that freedom). Because someone creates a working mod-chip or exploit does not necessarily mean they are 'doing damage'. For the homebrew crowd mentioned previously, it is their way of learning to code for a device and freely distribute that code to a wider audience (Believe it or not, not everyone needs to do a degree in games programming to be able to enter the games industry), the homebrewer/bedroom programmer on the DS/GC/DC/XBox today may be a games creating god tomorrow. Also I dont agree with any technology manufacturer deciding that once they have made their slice of profit from something like online gaming or a console that it should just be left to rot. If someone has a means to keep something alive (as a loose example lets say a Phantasy Star online Server for the GC), then where is the harm in a system being cracked wide open and people learning it free of charge....? I would say by not purchasing a mod chip you are denying the 'underground' of these things, but I know better than that. There will always be someone out there ready up to the challenge.

Skies of Arcadia 2, Space Channel 5 Showtime and more for Wii
4q2 replied to Wesley's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Space Channel 5 keeps hitting the rumour mill, so I will carry on living in hope. Any hoaxer worth their salt would have put Rez on that list....damned amateur. -
Honest opinion. I bought the same phone a month ago as a "put me on" till I can find a true upgrade on o2. Would have took it back when the paint first started falling off if there had have been anything else I liked the look of.

I think if that is the case, the game will be a very (incredibly) loose version of what it is meant to be...There was no option/recommendation given by the BBFC to make cuts or changes to the game to overturn the ruling. The irritating thing about this whole game situation is I am sure that the BBFC have reacted on the possibility that minors could get to play the game rather than giving it an age rating like they are supposed to be doing. The BBFC have allowed snuffing of innocent lives onto the silver screen and video for years, the taboo always seemed to be rape and to my knowledge this does not appear in Manhunt 2. There is the possibility that BBFC have succumbed to the media hysteria that was generated by murders surrounding the mention of Manhunt and Childsplay etc. If that is the case, why are we allowing ppl so easily influenced by what they see and hear review and rate titles that could so easily corrupt ones mind ? (My thought for the day) I hope that R* get the decision that they are looking for with this appeal, but unless someone can draw parallels between video games and what is allowed on video release, I dont think they will get far.

Nice looking phone, nice styling.....shame the silver paint wears off within a few weeks (unless you use the girly phone pouch provided), the wiper gets useless after a month or so of removing the fingerprints it picks up like no-ones business.

Spongebob Squarepants Movie - Fab....It made me laugh lots with its randomness. 7.5/10 Taxidermia - Apparently "One of the biggest head-fucks to be committed to celluloid". Generally if its world cinema and released on Tartan Video from my perspective, its one to enjoy.....However, this film appeared damn shallow and mostly seemed to pull its content from a shock value perspective. I admit, it did have its funny moments, but it just wasnt really holding my interest. I will try to watch it again in case I missed some deeper meaning, but on first impressions i thought it was cack. 4/10

Texts like a pig...But it looks nice. iPhone is so full of wonderful security holes that certain groups are going to have great fun with it. Personally: or for me as they are the only two phones capable of being a true upgrade to my XDA Exec. Both rumoured to be out around October this year.

I have Wii and 360. Got the Wii at launch and the 360 towards the end of December. The Wii is getting the most usage at the moment. Not too much inspiring me on 360 for now.
