Was the top horse one of the top 4 favourites? I dunno where to find the odds now either >.<

I know some of the guys from the year below us because of a couple of girls I know. One of the girls is going out with one of the guys, and it was his 18th last year, but like the day before mine, so we went out on his birthday(a friday) and had some drinks down greenwich way, then moved onto koko's up london, proceeding to start the celebrations for mine at 12 oclock! Which was on the train, and it took me about 20 minutes before I realised I was 19.

I'm fairly sure it's a Wii issue, the router works fine and the log doesn't clear itself unless the router is turned off, which it hasn't been. I'm gonna try that fiddling with the connection settings, I tried the wii shop again, and EV channel, both don't connect with error code 051030. Unfortunately, Nintendo's site doesn't have any information for error codes 0-99999, which unless I'm very much mistaken is EVERY SINGLE FREAKING ONE OF THEM. Idiots. EDIT: I did that just now, and it magically fixed itself. I dunno why, I never thought to go fiddle around in there, which would usually have been my first port of call for sorting the problem. I'm an idiot. Thanks everyone! It did offer me the update again after the connection test, then told me I had it, so I dunno what went wrong with it.

Fatman rang me up this morning to go bluewater which I did and he bought a mac and I only just got back and don't have time to put any bets on because I dunno how to put bets on but I was going to put like a small bet of £1 on hedgehunter and another £1 on the favourite, or 50p each on hedgehunter and the top 3 favourites. But I haven't.

This topic reminds me I had a dream the other day of having a supposedly heavily modded super hard super mario bros 2, but it turned out I actually had a heavily modded super super duper extra hard version of super mario land, it was hard. *hasn't actually watched the link yet*

This thread has made me realise my life hasn't really seen anything scary enough that I can recall? One time on a school trip coach, my friend started proper monging out and he's so mild it was strange and I thought he was gonna kill me, then 5-10 minutes later he was normal with no recollection, he was like sleepwalking/talking/murdering or something, but it was bloody scary at the time. Another thing, not quite so scary in my mind, yet all of us were litterally doing the rabbits caught in headlights thing, one time on fireworks night like 5 years ago some people drop past and threw a firework out of the window at us/in front of us, and all we could do was stop in our tracks, stand there staring at it til i exploded, it was weird, you'd think we'd have moved away or shielded our eyes or something, but I think we was just all in shock. Like I said though, not really scary.

I know theres a support thread, but I'm short on time and for some reason this laptop I'm on starts monging out like a snail whenever I try browsing these forums at the moment. BAsically, since the internet browser, and the wii update, I haven't been able to connect to the Wii Shop channel, it says it can't find the server. I just also checked my router log, it seems that the Wii hasn't connected for Wiiconnect24 at all since then(as the log would usually be littered with connections to the internet by my wii). Where do I go next? To the NintendoWFC site and lookup the error code? If it's a permanant problem with my wii that needs fixing by them, who do I contact and will they pick it up or am I going to have to post the darn thing? This is so annoying, I don't think I can't get updates for the EV Channel either, which upsets me

I don't have any picture, but yesterday I got my sister to go to the shop and buy me a spiderman egg with a mug, specifically so I would have another spiderman mug. I have 2 spiderman mugs from eggs when I was little that my aunt gave me, and an egg cup too, and just felt like some spidermanning again. It's a pretty nice cup though, seems bigger than the average cup in our house and so I feel like I'm getting more tea from it.

I played some versus with a mate who played for the first time last week, it was pretty cool actually, because of course the first person over the line(usually me) gets that +15 bonus, but the second person has had more time to be tricking and stuff, and he did manage to come really close to beating me a fair few times! He also succeeded a few times too... I haven't played any single player recently, I might have a bit now.

You're 14, your only real option is to get a paper round and then to find someone you know that is rich and generous. Either that or wait two years then get some big full time work, which probably won't be easy then either. Oh actually, buttons made me realise, you could go round helping people do stuff. Wash cars, do chores in exchange for money. If you do want it really really bad, and can't wait and have no morals, a life of crime may be in order for you, but I highly suggest you don't go down that road...unless you rob a house with a 360.

Fairly valid points in that link. I can think of tons of screwups with the wii though. 1. Not enough 3rd party support, in terms of Miis for 3rd parties, Online for 3rd parties, ok, maybe this is a slightly crap point(also a slight lack of more adult titles). 2. General lack of online, possibility of friend codes. 3. General lack of wiis despite the immense profits they're pulling per console, pretty convince it's within £10-£30 average worldwide. 4. Differences in VC titles worldwide, not good conversions with 60hz etc. 5. Being f*ckin greedy with the goddamn VC and classic controller, stop it you filthy money grabbing ***** and make it so you can remap the fucking GC controls, whats the point of updateable firmware if you're just gonna use it to fix your buggy little fucking money losers, SORT IT OUT NINTENDO. 6. Holding back on the VC titles, though I can understand this anticipation as a good marketing strategy. 7. Forget lack of 3rd party, how about some goddamn first party?! I'm talking first party wii too, not goddamn gamecube to wii conversions. Morons. That's my seven, for now. I would also add the lack of a way to reset GC titles into Wii mode is fucking ridiculous too, but it isn't enough to qualify as a point. Man, what a sucky suck suck, I hate having to turn my wii off and on to get out of a GC game. Also, give us some more channels and quirky type stuff, and some bloody codec support. GRRRR. This thread has made me angry.

Interesting thread, I found out yesterday that one of my mates little brothers(who happens to be mates with some of my mates) got engaged to his girlfriend of 3 years! That strikes me as kind of crazy, he's only like 19, and...Younger than me! It seems weird, but it's nice to know someone is so sure about something at such a young age. As for me, I've never really been in love, but I have been in lust and infactuated, to be honest part of it still lingers with me. Something worth reading for bored people out there, is the triangular theory of love(I think that's it, I'll get the wiki and be back in about 10 seconds, or 30 minutes). Biggest influence? I think I have two, or at least, oldest influences. Video games, namely of the Nintendo variety, and Spiderman. Alcohol as well in recent years :p I don't think I could ever possible outgrow gaming though, or Spiderman(though im not so fanatical I collect everything) I don't have much time for games anymore, but I still play games. I get 2 spiderman comics a month(soon to be 3, as one is going 2 weekly) and also an 2 xmen comics(technically 1.5 for both, as one is ultimate spiderman and xmen), which has stemmed from my love of spiderman and marvel. I, and most other people, would probably think the influence from them is negligible, but given they've been with me so long and are such a part of me, I think it'd be impossible for that to be true. From a theoretical point of view of mine, I think a person's name has the biggest/most influence on their life. I think a name is more than 'just a name' and I know that I for one would be a totally different person had I had another name. For example, one of my best mates shares the same name as me, and would it be so if we didn't? Probably not. Oh yeah, and parents, they're a pretty huge influence. Heh, I've kind of noticed the same with my dad recently, cos as you get older I think you see your parents more as the people they are than your parents, and you realise they too are only human, and I see stuff about my dad that I've somehow indirectly inherited, or just co-incidentally have, who knows? But I'm glad for who I am today.

I watched The Punisher over on Five instead, it was really rather good compared to what I expected. I did however tape The Passion, and will probably watch it later, either today tomorrow or wendesday whilst have some revision breaks, though revision seems to be more the break from everything else as I haven't done much lol. I really do enjoy watching Mel Gibson, and for all his faults as a person, I think he's a fairly decent actor. I'm looking forward to watching it...in fact, I might go watch it now!

I dissapprove of it when you know it's wrong, and you KNOW someone's going to be very hurt when they find out, especially if it's happened to you already. If you do it without realising(ie someone pretending they've available when they're not) then I don't hate you as much cos it wasn't your fault, doing it knowing that they aren't, then I hate you immensely, both of you. Of course, it isn't so simple and straightforward, and things are perfect and this isn't a perfect world. I think in any situation with cheating, I think all rights and stuff lie with the cheated, and that the cheaters deserve no sympathy. This is my short little breakdown of my opinion, it should be longer but I'm trying not to get too hooked into the forums again.

I like being a collection of different countries(albeit like...4), and I like saying I belong to Great Britain, thus I disapprove for purely silly reasons!

Apparently only like 2% of people can actually kill another person, so there's a pretty good chance you'll live through it. In all seriousness though, it seems you have managed to get by fine so far, just keep doing whatever you're doing til he gets bored, and if he doesn't, then try and sort it out how people have been suggesting(I'd have said to just stand up to him, but I don't know you or this guy, and it could have terrible consequences). When you say he's a dealer, what's he been dealing? Best advice in my opinion so far, would be along the lines of what the fish posted right above this. Maybe he's not actually going to do anything to you at all, and just wants to see you running scared?

In my emails to my hotmail account, the link wasnt linked like, so I tried copy and pasting(I have like 6 of the emails, each with a different code each time), but it wouldnt finish loading, wouldn't even get a page cannot be displayed error...
