Are you interested in inflicting serious harm upon a fellow human being? Another living creature? Your self? With a gun? I list those in what I consider order of seriousness.

When I think about it though, had I seen the second line as the sum, I'd have gotten 197, or would I? It's the sort of thing I can't do as I would naturally because now I am conscious of it, and the sort of thing I'm so used to doing that I don't know how I do.

Hello, I was over on 4chan because I was bored and checking out /b/, when something actually peaked my interest, there was a thread with this image attached. So tell me N-E, do you think this is right or wrong? I personally thought it was right, as I was once taught about BODMAS, but everyone in the thread there seems to think it is wrong, and I typed it into excel(only thing I could think of available to me) and someone there typed it into something else, and they and my excel get it coming out as 197. Who is right? (Sorry if you feel this didn't warrant a whole new thread, but I think it's a rather interesting topic, and I know there's a few keen mathematicians here)

No, it doesn't generate a password itself as such, as that'd clearly require password generating software, which is kind of unneccesary. It does convert ASCII using a certain formula unless I'm mistaken, and also all WPA keys must be at least 8 digits long, ASCII or Hex, I've heard of those diceword generators, they're good, but I don't think anyone could guess my passwords, which I think is their main purpose(to prevent guessing of the obvious). Is it the ISP address differing(because it's dynamic)? Or is it the actual computer's IP assigned by the router that is differing? Typically, I believe d-link routers(all?) address is 192.168.0.1, and then address assigned to clients are usually like 192.168.0.100-192.168.0.200 or something like such, it will usually start at the router adress with two 0s on the end. How to make it so this address assigning doesn't happen randomly? Find the DHCP setting(Dynamic Host Controller Protocool? I dunno, I made the C up, and probabaly got the others wrong)

Id o! OI didn't see it on fox, but I d/led after hearing about it and it was rahter good, did it ever get a second series?

I went to the aforementioned engagement party and am pretty wasted right about now, though it wasn't that sunny obv and I felt coldest when I gots there. Not bad though, tune into MPotD for more! Oh,a nd I haveny yet complimented FLink on the rather good song reference, though I only fink ofhte funkstar de luxe version, as I'm sure he does too

Apparently Donnie Darko was in line to replace him, or was approached with the role initially or something. I think he could pull it off actually, though it'd be a slightly different peter parker style than what I think Tobey brought to the role. Random actress who popped into my head for the role of Felicia, that blonde woman who just appeared in Ugly Betty who is supposed to be the dead brother but had a sex change. She does had the sort of Felicia Hardy look in my mind. EDIT: Hahaha, oh shit wow, I was thinking 'but she wouldn't be able to do the genre too well' for some completely unreasonable reason, then I googled some images of her for this and guess what came up? A picture of Mystique! Rebecca Romijn is her name, and here is a picture that completely leeches off a site because I'm lazy.

I haven't heard the album, but I do rather like Girlfriend and the video, and I think she looks rather good these days. Reminds me of a girl I used to know. My mate used to have a habit of having one random swearword in every song that he wrote, he never really explained why though.

As I think I've said, Tea is my hot drink of choice, and probably my second most consumed beverage. A few facts about how I drink tea. I drink it when its hopefully still hot/warm but cool enough to down it in one go, as I sometimes do. I will drink cold tea, as I do not like to waste teaish goodness. I like my tea strong, with little milk, most people cannot make a cup of tea that I like. I find it hard to drink tea that has anything other than skimmed milk in it, unless the milk content is reduced so I can't taste it. Tea is probably my only and therefore biggest intake of milk. I make the tea then add the milk, adding tea to a bit of milk in the bottom of a cup is just weird, and tastes funnier. I always have to stir the tea with a teaspoon after adding the milk. 95% of the time I drink my tea with the spoon still in the cup. No, I don't think I've ever poked myself in the eye. I rarely hold a cup by it's handle, I usually drink in line with the handle, either on the handle side or opposite it.

Who would be good for the role though? I think we should start naming some actors for our character suggestions!
-
I was gonna stay home and revise, though later I may go to a sort of mate's little brother's engagement(19 and engaged, crazy!) celebration gathering thing. I feel a bit of a liberty considering I don't know the brother too well, and I also should revise rather than going out, but...it couldn't hurt to take a break right?

Yeah I've seen shaolin soccer too, one of my friends prefers that, but I think I prefer kung fu hustle, both very good though. I've just downloaded another by him, called God of Cookery or something like that. I'll probs watch it tonight or tomorrow when I take a break from the revision I haven't started yet, and let you guys know how it is. Don't think it'll be as good though, as apparently Shaolin Soccer was once the biggest hit from Hong Kong, until it was beaten by Kung Fu Hustle, should still be pretty entertaining though.
-
It was good, but I think I preferred last week's. Nice Nelson Mandella sketch, Let Us All Get Muntered. It doesn't touch chums, but it isn't trying to so that doesn't bother me. I also watched hignfy, which was pretty poor.

I thought of the sinsiter six, but then thought wouldn't that be rather alot of action for one film? Spidey against 6 villains? I also think Kraven and the Vulture wouldn't make it to film too well, Scorpion would fare better, and as you said Electro might be tricky too on the outfit front. I would like to see the black cat, and she could be good for the plot, but I am worried about it turning out to be really shoddy(i never saw Elektra, but I heard it was bad, but I happened to like her in Daredevil so who knows?). Really, they shouldn't have killed off Norman, he's the sort of character who could have come back imo, pulling some strings and working some things behind the scenes and making spidey's life hell.

I haven't seen last night's yet, taped it cos I was finally watching the beginning of vanilla sky. My favourite sketches from last week was probably their pet northerner, and the two rather brilliant nelson mandella ones. Nelson Mandella's Alcopops, and Fighting Beer 'Do you want some?'. Just, the accent, and the idea of nelson mandella, spot on and brilliant!

Ahh, such a great film, gaggle is right ^ Only issue I have with it is the plot at the end, felt a little rushed and hurried to wrap it up or something. I might have a look to see if Stephen Chow has done any other stuff too...
-
I'm in a slightly similar situation, only it's revision and not CW, I did have the same issue with my mini project though this year. I dunno how I got round to doing it in the end, I did go and work on my sister's laptop and disabled the internet(though I cheekily re-enabled it a few times, so try and get one that is completely unconnected and can't be, or turn off the router). The internet is going to have to go. Second, if it's a laptop, or even a computer, just sit there. It doesn't matter if you don't feel inspired, sit there. Don't 'just' pop to the kitchen to make a cup of tea, sit in front of the screen with your work up and open, and think about it until you get inspired. It may take a while if you're really unmotivated, I sat in front of mine for about 12 hours before I managed to write anything substantial(though i had other distractions like TV, get rid of those too). Don't go to sleep today until you've written at least 250-500 words, then repeat tomorrow. Given WeeYellowBlokes reasoning, change that to 1500-2000 words a day. Dan and EEVIL raised a very good point, keep it in mind.

Meh, you only missed 10 minutes, and I did mention it in the MPotD thread. Surely if you have filmfour you have filmfour+1 anyway?? Tune into that in 10 minutes and you're sorted! PEDOFILE! (heh, not really, that bit is quite funny)
-
Really Moria? Most people I know who've seen it liked it. I think it's got a very good balance of everything in it, a good amount of realism and surrealism, not too many jokes but not too much seriousness either, both at the same time sort of thing without actually being either. It's hard to describe, it's so different to the usual style of stuff I've ever seen, I think it's why I like it so much
-
Cantonese, so no crappy english dubs. I prefer original languages and subtitles in stuff I watch, it's the only way!
-
OH god I love this film so much I couldn't help but start a thread, sorry. Filmfour as of 10 minutes ago, catch it now! Or in 50 minutes on filmfour+1. It's a martial art kind of comedy/drama(not the right word really) with lots of stylization and nothing like anything you'll have seen before, unless you see Shaolin Soccer(by the same guy, and sharing some of the cast) or if you have in fact, seen the actual film itself before, in which case you're probably already watching because you like it so much. EDIT: Surreal was the word I was looking for, it's like nothing you'll have seen before! In a good way! Funny, too!

Heh, I thought crossovers then thought that'd be pretty unlikely. I would like to see Tobey keep the role, he's a good actor in it, and in fact a very good actor across the board in everything I've seen with him, but I can understand why they'd want to not get stuck in it, does kind of limit their oppurtunities in some senses. I just feel like a cast overhaul would be hard to do without shifting the time period significantly, I dunno why but it'd just seem weird. The only other way I can think to actually replace spider would be to bring in the whole clone business, but I can't see that happening in the films.
-
Think about if you were infertile, and so your girlfriend/wife/partner was to impregnated(without the sex) by your father's sperm? Wouldn't you just think that really weird? For any girls out there, imagine that the other way round, like as if you was in the daughter's situation. Of course, as you have all pointed out, she's only like 7 and she will have the choice when she's older, but I just think it'd be weird to use your mother's eggs!

He isn't actually fat, he is muscley. I dunno about the lizard, I've never been his biggest fan, I probably even prefer shocker over him! I reckon venom will make it out of spiderman 3, he's forever been hard to kill. I think for villains the likely choices will be; Venom Lizard Kingpin Rhino Shocker?I meant electro here. Scorpion? Chameleon maybe? Doc Ock if he didn't actually die somehow, but that'd be a be corny to do. Could do a Morbious character too, wouldn't be too tricky to have a vampire in a film. I reckon Toby Maguire is perfect for the role, and if he got offered it he'd probably keep it, I mean come on, who WOULDN'T want to be spiderman given the chance?? EDIT: Had a little look through a book I have, and it reminded me of someone I forgot who I would really love to see make it as a bg screen villain, none other than...Mysterio! Also saw some other villains, but they don't translate to the screen so well I don't think, like Kraven, or the Vulture. There was one part of the comics where spiderman dons like 4 different costumes to hide himself sort of thing but still fight crime, that'd be pretty amusing to see, though not enough to build a film on.

Woooooo! Not surprised, Sony want as much as they can probably get, and it's a big cash cow for them, but I don't care cos I love spider and have liked the first two installments from raimi immensely. Oo, someone mentioned the kingpin, if they can get michael duncan clarke(thats his name right?) to reprise the role, it'd be very nice to see! I thought he was excellent in daredevil. Would be good, but probably too violent, to see some carnage, or even possibly some spiderman clonage?
