  1. I have a Quest and a laptop I can link it up to. Not tried Alyx yet though. Going to wait till it's a bit cheaper!
  2. 2 and 3 were fantastic action films and I won't have a bad word said against them. Good day!
  3. Unfortunately, I don't think so. Not sure if it really works otherwise.
  4. Me too. Who can even stop him?! Pole - Hamilton Fastest Lap - Hamilton 1st - Hamilton 2nd - Hamilton 3rd - Hamilton 4th - Hamilton 5th - Hamilton A dominant display.
  5. Best Mini Game Got to be tortoise balancing from Wario Ware I don't think this one's needs an explanation.
  6. The most innovative game I've played this year was The Fisherman's Tale. Just mind-bending game mechanics.
  7. It's too late. I've seen everything.
  8. We watched a show called Unorthodox on Netflix this week. Binged the whole thing in one day (it's only four episodes). It's about a woman who escapes an orthodox Jewish enclave and runs away to Germany. Orthodox Jews are weird, man. We kept having to pause it to Google some of the weird shit they do. Couldn't believe it.
  9. The burgers on that first link suffer from the same plate-to-mouth logistical issues as all the others mentioned, so I don't see how you could eat them safely in a non-miliband way without a knife and fork? Or do Dutch people have much wider mouths?
  10. I'm secretly hoping my TV dies soon so I can buy a fancy new one, but that stubborn bastard is too damn strong. Definitely recommend Samsung TVs for longevity - twats.
  11. Have you ever tried the Impossible Burger from Hard Rock Cafe? Best vegetarian burger i've ever had.
  12. I've been listening to the Eurovision: Fire Saga soundtrack on Spotify - specifically, this song:
  13. Best racing game Ok, i'll admit that the stunt levels were far more fun to play than the race ones, but that doesn't mean that this isn't a racing game. Another game that whiled away many hours of my youth, it's one of the few racing games that I was quite good at, and actually unlocked everything there was to unlock. Plus, that soundtrack - I love the way the music fades into the background as you launch high into the air to perform a trick, and then bursts back when you land it - HUAAAH!
  14. Most interesting collectables I'm going to pick the sea shanties from Assassin's Creed: Blag Flag. One of the best parts of this game was simply sailing across the incredibly realistic seas, made all the more awesome by the songs your crew would sing as you went. You could unlock new songs by finding scrolls dotted around the open world, thereby giving a reason to track down and collect them all.
  15. In return, "Smellygol" please.
  16. I think my current employer matches 3%, while I'm paying in 15% I could easily afford to raise that to 25%, but I think I'd rather put that extra money towards housing improvements right now. We have about £60k saved up in ISAs, which was going to pay for the attic conversion. But Impending Baby may have torpedoed that idea.
  17. Upper-case sell-out.
  18. Best Story Probably would have gone for Yakuza 0 if i hadn't already used it earlier, so I'll go for this: Tales from the Borderlands It's the only Telltale Games i've played, and loved it from start to finish. It had great characters, funny dialogue, amazing twists and turns, and generally felt like an actual game rather than one long cut scene, which is what I was worried it would be when i started.
  19. I watched all 32 minutes of this:
  20. No, it's true. She's just incredibly thin from the front, which is why she always stands side-on to the camera. When she turns face-on she disappears.
  21. I am going to struggle with this too, but i'll have a go: 0-9: 911 A: Ash B: Basement Jaxx C: Chesney Hawkes D: Dizzy Rascal (before Muse) E: Elton John F: Florence and the Machine H: Hans Zimmer K: Kid Creole and the Coconuts L: (the) Levellers M: Muse R: Rodrigo y Gabriela (before Muse) S: Scissor Sisters T: Tinie Tempah (I saw a lot of these on the student union tour circuit)
  22. Yeah, i've looked up plants that do well in low light, but the problem is that our local garden centre (well, it's a Homebase) doesn't have a very good range, so i've ended up just buying things I like the look of, and trying them out to see what survives. I also bought a little meter thingy that is supposed to measure light levels, but it says everywhere in my house is 'dark', even when i hold it up to lights, or take it outside. Maybe it's reacting to the blackness in my heart, or maybe it's just broken.
  23. 2D platformer Urgh, this category is hard. I do not like 2D games. They are the antithesis of open world games - restrictive, flat, boring. I had to go quite far back to think of the last 2D platformer i enjoyed - a game I used to play with my sister (we would take turns, she was way better than me). Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow Weirdly, we used to play this game with a flight simulator joystick? No idea why. Actually, searching for screenshots of that game brought back some bad memories, and made me realise I didn't particularly enjoy it at the time either.
  24. Does the Shinkansen go the appropriatly scaled speed?
