1) Not been playing anything since I stopped checking in to Animal Crossing regularly. Been meaning to pick BOTW back up, but haven't had the motivation or the time recently. 2) Honestly not sure. I haven't been keeping up that much, so i'm not sure if there is anything that i'd consider a must buy. It depends on whether I end up completing some of the games on my backlog and see something that looks interesting. 3) Nah. I've played all three previously, and don't have a burning desire to play any of them again. Plus, I'm not sure how I feel about the whole FOMO time-limited aspect of them. 4) If i did somehow end up with a copy - Sunshine is probably the one I have fondest memories of, so i'd probably start that up.

You missed this one: -
I just close my eyelids a bit. Lets less light in, plus you look like a total badass in public.

Are we supposed to know what the Rot is? And should it sound so disgusting?
-
Oh, Ron Perlman's in this?

What if the Microsoft leak was on purpose so Sony would reveal their price, and then Microsoft officially comes out with a different, lower one.
-
I don't know, I haven't played it. Why don't you tell us instead?

That's what I was planning on doing, but I've just checked and it doesn't seem available to rent, only buy.

Is the Sonic movie worth a watch? Even if you've never played Sonic?

I'm being harassed with superfluous words.

I finally joined the 20th century and bought a dishwasher. I don't know what to do with all my spare time now.

I am not a fan of the Craig Bond, but every time they release a new one, I get caught up in the hype. That looks like a damn good film! Hoping it gets released on a streaming service!
-
Oh look, it's that one game being released again.
-
We just say 'price' around here guys. No need for any other words.

Agreed. It won't happen again. However, in my defence, it was the author himself who said you could read them in either order, so i thought it would be ok! He just didn't mention that he hadn't finished writing all of them.

I read Dark Matter a couple of years ago and thought it was reasonably good. I guessed some of the plot from the beginning, but it still managed to surprise towards the end. Currently reading the Riyria Revelations. It's a trilogy of books, followed by a prequel trilogy. I Googled the reading order, and read that you could read them in publication order, or chronologically, and it would still make sense. So I started with the first of the prequel books, which was very good. It was then that i found that he is still writing the rest of the prequel books, and so I couldn't just read all of them in one go. So i've had to skip forward to the first of the main trilogy, and i'll have to go back and read the rest of the prequels once they're done. Bit annoyed as the order is all messed up.

Goddamnit, not you too!

The Exercise & Fitness Thread: The Struggle Is Real
bob replied to Fierce_LiNk's topic in General Chit Chat
Still doing my App based, no equipment exercises each day (give or take a few missed days). It feels really good, and I'm definitely noticing the difference. I'm looking more trim, and I can do most of the exercises I struggled with at the beginning. Still though, the App does take the piss a bit near the end of a training plan. Just when you think you are doing well and keeping up, it ramps the difficulty up just beyond your reach. It's really soul destroying when you have to wimp out of completing a session because it asks just a little bit too much of you. -
In my opinion, it's only backwards compatibility if you can put your old disks/cartridges in, or transfer your old digital purchases over and play that way. If you have to buy it again, it's not backwards compatible, they've just re-released an old game. Switch isn't backwards compatible therefore, and neither is PS4 (unless you can play PS3 digital purchases? I don't know). Personally, i don't require it, as i rarely re-play older generation's games, so it wouldn't bother me if PS5 didn't have it.

It's a bit unfair to ask a European to write a Brexit themed game. Poor (lucky) @Sméagol hasn't been mired in this bullshit for the last 5 years.

Will it be spoiler free?

It's insane that he was diagnosed 4 years ago and didn't tell anyone. Poor guy.

I imagine if@will' has a budget of £5k, he isn't that worried about building it on the cheap. Just buy a pre-built one and let some other chump do all the work.

Just finished watching Season 3 of the Expanse. Damn is that a great show! I held off for a while because I read the first book a while ago and was a bit underwhelmed, but the show is fantastic. Such good sci-fi writing.
