I mean the dialogue is arse, the plot isn't actually that bad.

I've watched up to Episode 9 and....it does get better. It starts off a bit clusterfucky, but slowly all the bits seem to come together, and it starts to make sense. The writing is absolutely terrible, but if you look past that, it's pretty entertaining, especially if you enjoyed Season 1 the first time round.

I'm still trying to play the games i didn't beat this generation before i can upgrade to next-gen. So last night i started up Red Dead Redemption on the Xbox 360. I say started up, i'm actually carrying on from where i left off. I checked, and my last save was from April 2012, so it's just a short hiatus. Thing is, once again, i can't remember what i was doing, what the controls are, etc. Still, i bumbled around a bit, and did a couple of side quests. If i get to play tonight i'll try and continue the main story, but i have no idea how far through i am. Hopefully i can just pick it up!

Had my end of year review at work, and got a nifty pay rise, which is nice.

Bought 4 tickets to see Hans Zimmer live in Birmingham next year. Should be awesome, I can't wait! I really hope he does at least one song from Megamind, but I think that might be insanely wishful thinking.

Have you ever tried to sing the West Wing theme though? It's impossible. Bonus points for getting a load of drunk people at the pub to try though.

Just finished South Park: The Stick of Truth. Thought it was fantastic. The end went on a bit too long, with a few too many final bosses, but ultimately i thought the difficulty was just perfect. There were a few bosses who were a little bit tricky and required dying a few times and coming back to re-think (looking at you Al Gore), but it never felt unfair. Loved the humour too, especially the Canada levels. I'm a bit sick of RPG's now though, they get a bit tedious towards the end.

I'm not sure what the appeal is. Does it really allow you to be that much better at pwning n00bs??

I think it made a lot of sense in Halo, where you had shields that regenerate if you take cover, but your health is lost permanently once lost. It doesn't really make sense in Uncharted etc unless you are a secret cyborg from the future.

I think if you get an early goal, it could be a thrashing. But the longer FC Pulis hold out, the more frustrated you'll get and the less likely will score. At least I can't see West Brom catching you on the break or even scoring at all...

Oh man, Man U vs West Brom. Sideways passing vs Pulis defense. That's got scoreless draw written all over it; I might even place a cheeky bet.

Wolves of the Calla was my favourite, I think. Had some really good sections, and there wasn't too much King weirdness. I've read it. It's pretty good. The second one isn't as good, I don't think, but still looking forward to the third one.
